I swung by this GameStop in Riverside and was really impressed by all the cool stuff they had, especially the different Pop figures I hadn't seen anywhere else. The staff were friendly and seemed to know their stuff; really eager to help me with any gaming questions. They had a solid mix of new and used games for all consoles. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.

After getting low balled from a pawn shop down the street (they tried to give me $20 for a Nintendo switch) I decided to look elsewhere for a quote and stumbled across Market Street. Though my Nintendo switch was in good condition, it was only the base model and my worry was getting lowballed again but the employees there were flexible and worked with me according to my needs. In the beginning I was hesitant with many questions but Brian was very informal and outlined every word in the loan contract and made sure I was not confused.
