I came in and was helped by Jason but it was busy which made things take a little longer but I managed to trade 2 games and buy the PS4 Pro but decided to get the Ultimate edition which has more content. Overall shopping experience was good except for another Gamestop person who seemed bothered by me figuring out what I wanted to do. Waited 13mins on the phone to ask if a game was in stock. Someone answered and asked me to hold. I held. For 13 mins! No one answered and I finally hung up. This was even worse than being on hold with USPS. My friend was on his way to go check if the game was there in person and when he arrived there, (5 mins after my 13 min hold) told me that the store wasn't busy and no one was there. The staff has always been fairly friendly. I admit that includes an allowance for the standard gamer-geek awkwardness and lack of social poise. I'm a gamer, and have been for years, but I somehow managed to escape the standard of not showering and not speaking. The new games are new, so not much to say there. The used games are often pretty good, and when they aren't, they're easy to return and receive a replacement or refund for. For example: I bought a Harry Potter game, and the first two used copies wouldn't work in my PS3, so they gave me a new copy. They even went so far as to hunt down another copy, play with it and then transfer it to my nearest store. The customer service is difficult to beat. And they have great prices on games. read more

I was just in your store about an hour and a half ago. My family came in prepared to drop $400+ on a brand new switch and some other games from the pre owned section of PS4 games. This was going to be my daughter's birthday present in addition to the other games we already bought for her. We had just walked in from Culver's down the street so we had some drinks that were almost empty. All that was left in my daughter's drink was ice. She asked your associates if she could put her empty cup in their garbage and they did but a moment later asked it it was empty. She said just a sip remained (ice). The associate then proceeds to take the cup out of the sack she was proceeding to take to the garbage outside anyway and very snotty, says, "We don't want bugs in our store. You know sugar ants?!" THEN GIVES HER BACK THE CUP THAT WAS JUST IN THE GARBAGE BAG AND TELLS HER TO TAKE HER TRASH OUTSIDE! My daughter and I have never been so insulted and treated so rudely at your stores ever. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of product from your stores and have been in enough GameStop's to understand why customers treat it like a garbage bin as the associates refuse to put a simple cup in a trash bag they are taking out already because of "sugar ants"?! I've seen cups of soda placed around randomly in your stores and have sat there for hours because no one bothers to put it in the trash. So if your store has a bug problem I would blame your associates for not keeping the place of business tidy in the first place. Not someone trying to prevent littering by asking to place trash in the full sack she was transporting to the back. Not to mention as we left they were smirking as if they accomplished something! This place holds chase pops for their managers and then when they get caught they try to lie about it. If you have any issues their district managers number is 5626558899. I waited almost an hour to purchase one item from them that they refused to sell because it's limited and their employee wanted it. I appreciate the district manager for making her employees do their job however I felt legit like I had to fight with someone to make a purchase. this store doesn't deserve and rating I go here to check on to see how much an xbox one fallout 4 edition is same as amazon but the clerk tells me I can trade in my xbox 360 with a 250gb or more hard drive if I have all the cores for $100 credit if I buy a new xbox one fallout 4 edition, I'm like sounds good I told him I have an modern warfare 2 edition he said ok thats fine, I go home grab my stuff, I got back over there about an hour later store manager said no I can't give you $100 credit for it, I ask why , manager said that's only for the slim, I told him that's not what the clerk before said, manager said I know I over heard your conversion but I can only give you $30 for it.
