Sold me a broken mario party 6. I called a closer fallout location than this fallout and I was informed that they don't always check the games they sell so they can't say if they will work or not. Will not refund me and will only give me store credit even though it's only been a day. I would like cash back so I can try to at least buy a copy elsewhere. Bought two games there recently for my nintendo 64. I'm very busy with work and kids so I hadn't been able to play until today. Both games I purchased DO NOT WORK. And of course, their return policy is 7 days and it's only to exchange it for a similar item. And the day I finally get to try the games is the 7th day. Do they not test their games before putting them in the case? If I hadn't spent just a combined $20 on the games, I'd be way more upset. Trying to get back into older games and this was not a good start. The other game I purchased from 1Up Games works just fine. Disappointing. read more

I've been here with my boys several times and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I was there today and was helped by Richard. He took his time to show me a variety of color options for our PS4. My partner and I stopped in to this fallout games location today looking for collectors edition games and consoles. We were mainly interested in the Halo xbox360 consoles,the god of war collectors edition games, and halo collectors edition games. My partner asked the man at checkout (we were purchasing other items) a younger man with long hair and short facial hair, if they did any type of package deal since we were wanting to buy 6 products worth about 1k total. He was very rude and abrasive the second we asked, going on a spiel about how they've "been wronged before" and stating they "look at market pricing for their items and price appropriately" and said "the owner doesn't even give us discounts and we work here". We couldn't even get a word in... Not only do they charge 30-40 above market price for these items, most aren't even complete sets! how is it our fault you've been "wronged before"??? All he had to say was "no we don't" and leave it at that, talk about shitty customer service. We will not be supporting this chain any longer if this is how they treat customers who were very interested in making a large purchase. I see now there's a reason their items have been sitting on the shelf for so long. read more

I went here today intending to purchasing a wii and a ps3 game with my friend. After seeing the wii was a little over my spending amount i decided to tell my friend to buy one on offer up or facebook market place. The tall employee with a long black ponytail and heavy set decided to comment on what i said to my friend with a nasty remark on how i shouldn't just shop somewhere else and then continues to be incredibly disrespectful on how i don't do my research and how i don't know what i'm talking about. The girl with pink hair is incredibly sweet and had great customer service. But i wouldn't recommend shopping here because of his very low quality of customer service and that he doesn't know how to treat other people with respect. The people that are reading this i really recommend you too take your money and business somewhere else. read more

Great store both in Mesa and Tempe really like dealing with Richard and kaleb they provide excellent customer service. Big selection for gamers of all ages and most of the time fair prices for buying I always find what I'm looking for here and there and sometimes what idk I was even looking for! Which makes the hunt even more fun! I do prefer the Mesa one over Tempe due to the insane sand box of LEGO pieces but I always see kids diving into them so they must make good money so I get it. Excellent place to get cheap blu rays as well if you're not a gamer. Jose is the man he can fix anything and has good turn around timeframe. Again fix ANYTHING. Thanks for fixing my PSP Jose! Best store ever... I bought a ps2, wii, and a game cube... their extremely nice and they don't try to up sell you... they might have the game you want for the ps2/wii/Xbox because the selection is hudge... all their consoles have a year warranty so it comes in handy with the ps2 because it needs maintenance sometimes... if you have something wrong with the console you bought... they would inspect it and replace it no cost read more

I've never been a fan of these store. I used to go often but I've had countless bad experiences over the years. The guy who runs all of them is careless and uninterested in running a business. He just wants to focus on selling junky Chinese knockoff consoles. The stores are generally cluttered and the staff isn't helpful whatsoever. Not sure how they have 4 stars. Also if you are planning on trading anything in don't bother unless you want to get less than 40 percent of its value. Generally 50 percent is fair. They will rip you off and be rude while doing it. Hope they close up shop and let someone else who has some business sense take their place. Go to 1up games in Mesa instead, they are much more professional and fair with how much trade you'll receive. read more

Doesnt even deserve the one star the 2 men working were rude as hell seemed to careless about anything. I bought a game from this same location a week ago when i got home noticed it was pretty scrached up didnt work properly but haveing been busy i couldnt go back right away but according to there return/exchange i should be able to switch it out for the same game no problem with 14 days well its been 5 days and i went in today to exchang it an was told no becuase the game was to scrached up even thats how they sold it to me he said he refuses the exchange beacuse he doenst want to take back a scrached game but had no problems selling me the game for 25$ less than a week ago i have used fall out for years and loved it but to be treated so poorly then told i couldn't exchange the game they sold me in horrible condition because he couldnt resell it then i brought in 10 games that are all faily new xbox one games was offered less thab 15$ i will never return to this store again i hate gamestop but i will be going there from now on read more

Previously I gave this store a high rating but I am very disappointed with the product I was given for Christmas from this location. All I wanted was a sega genesis for Christmas and so my wife went to this location knowing that I talk highly of this place. This morning I opened it up and plugged it in only to find out they sold my wife a genesis with a faulty power adapter. Unfortunately I can't just come back tomorrow because we are going on a family vacation and won't be back for a week. Very disappointed and sad Fallout games would put a product on the shelf that is faulty. read more

Fallout Games is awesome. Definitely one of my favorite video game stores in Arizona. The selection is always impressive and the staff at all the locations I have visited in phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa have always been very helpful and courteous, especially Richard from the Mesa store you can tell he has a passion for video games. They also take movies as trade-ins and movie selection is pretty decent. At the Tempe location they have a large selection of Legos vintage toys and collectibles that are awesome. Went to Fallout Games Wednesday night Dec 19th looking for a gift for Christmas. Not sure who the guy was but he turned a 35 dollar game into half the price! I was ecstatic to say the least as he told me your guys' thing is to beat gamestops prices. That definitely was the highlight of my experience. Fast forward two days to Friday night Dec 21st and there's two guys this time, I went back in because turns out the gift I bought Wednesday would be a duplicate so was hoping to find something else. I start looking at the games you have and checking gamestop prices as well. I take the games up to the counter and these guys didnt honor the same buying method from two nights before. Maybe it was my fault for not bringing it up? I didn't my previous visit because I didnt even know that was what you guys did.
