Came here because I was told from my local Honda dealer about an issue with a broken wiper fluid bottle and the line that feeds into the bottle. Came here for a second opinion, as I was quoted from Honda that it'd cost $400 to fix. My technician, Henry, was very informative and in fact, the wiper fluid bottle and the line were all fine! He even topped off the wiper fluid bottle and my windshield wiper was working all over again! There was no leaks or any damage to the fluid bottle. Ashley at the front desk was really nice and very accommodating. The office was really clean and cozy, I'd definitely come back here again! read more

As a seasoned Mercedes-Benz enthusiast, I've had my share of adventures keeping my beauties on the road. My 1989 560SL, a car as reliable as an old friend, occasionally needs a specialist--the kind of guy you might imagine is named Hans. You know, the type of expert who speaks fluent Mercedes and doesn't flinch when faced with a car that lacks an OBD2 plug. Needless to say, dealerships won't touch it without a modern diagnostic port, so I've made the rounds over the last 22 years--from GNN Motors, Jack's Tri-Star, MBZ Motors, and Peter's Automotive for simpler things like transmission flushes, brakes, and oil changes. Now, when I say general mechanics quake at the sight of my 560SL, it's not hyperbole. They'd rather not take the risk, fearing something might snap while their less-than-master mechanic fumbles with it. Even the highly-rated J&E Complete Auto Shop left me stranded once; they accepted my car, promised work in three days, and a week later handed it back untouched, citing their master mechanic Robert's tight schedule. A free oil change? Thanks, but I could have done without the wasted week and rental car. Fast-forward to now, and I've grown weary of renting cars every time my 560SL spends its season at a Mercedes specialist. The solution? Buy a more modern classic. Enter my quest for a W211 E-Class (2003-2009)--a series that's still delightfully old-school yet graced with the luxury of an OBD2 plug. Before pulling the trigger on a local listing, I wanted a pre-purchase inspection (PPI). I called AAA for recommendations, and among the names was Future Auto Service--conveniently close to AAA in Burbank. I spoke with Henry, who was excellent over the phone: knowledgeable about Mercedes, reassuring about their detailed PPI process, and even willing to have his team check for gas tank manufacturing dates (an infamous potential issue with this series). Impressive. The day of the inspection arrived, but my first glimpse of the car revealed deal breakers aplenty, so I decided against buying it before going through with the PPI. Lesson learned--next time, I'll view the car in advance and still bring it to Future Auto Service for the inspection. After thoroughly researching their reviews (and diving deep into the negative ones), I can confirm this shop is a gem. Sure, there were some growing pains when the current owners took over in March 2017, but since then, their ratings have been stellar: 182 reviews with 177 five-star, 1 four-star, 1 two-star, and 3 one-star (some of which bizarrely relate to the previous owner). Statistically, you're looking at a 4.93-star average, and if you filter out the two fleeting gripes about phone delays (one from 2021, the other from 2023, likely courtesy of a couple of Karens), these folks have a true 5-star reputation. Moving forward, I'm jazzed to see how they handle maintaining my future W211 Mercedes and perhaps even tackle some of the simpler tasks on my 560SL. I'm optimistic--I've finally found the shop that might be up to the task. Thanks, Henry and team, for the great first impression. I look forward to seeing how Future Auto Service helps keep my Mercedes collection running smoothly. read more

Honest, easy auto shops are hard to find these days, but this one is great! Had the most affordable price out of all the quotes I collected and they finished quite a large job for me same day. First time and not my last, very honest and freindly. They Cud have done more work but were very honest as to what i needed and i did not need to buy a new part! Ashley at the front desk and pixy(i think...?). All great work with. Will be back read more

I need YOUNG WOMEN to see this and take their cars here. I believe he said his name was Henry? Literally the kindest, most communicative man I have ever encountered in the auto industry. Super up front and has the customers best interests in mind. I want this guy to be my doctor and my dentist as well. Didn't get work done yet, but just diagnostics were so helpful. I'll be back! read more

Give them more if possible! Great service, great communication. Honesty and integrity, which are scarce! Give a plan of action, along with a quote. Fixed the car, price was what was quoted. Explained that since the car wouldn't start, they tested and would start with that part. Highly recommend! read more

Wow. So glad I found Future Auto Service. I didn't want to go to the big dealerships and I'm not a fan of going to Jiffy Lube and the others in their space. Future Auto is a small (but amazing) repair shop. They can handle everything you need. I went for an oil change. They did a free inspection on my 2017 Honda CRV. I totally needed brakes. They completed the oil change and brakes in a very reasonable amount of time. It didn't take several hours like the dealerships. I loved hearing the employees talk to other customers by phone and to those in the waiting area. Super friendly and honest. I overheard the owner telling someone that the service the customer came in for wasn't actually needed. There were no other issues needed on the guy's car. He was just being honest. The customer was so surprised that he was sent away... in a very friendly way, of course. I'm typically afraid to go to a repair shop in fear that I will be taken advantage of. Not this place! The price of my services were not inflated... definitely cheaper than a dealership. The waiting area is quaint. It's got a leather sofa and a couple of other comfy chairs. They offer free water, coffee, and snacks. As you can tell, I'm totally sold on this place. Haha... Just being there in person observing their employees (and owner) engage with customers is super refreshing. There is a constant flow of traffic of customers who seem to be regulars and the employees are familiar with them. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I just felt like I needed to give a shot out after having such a great experience. I'm not looking forward to needing future car repairs, but I'm looking forward to taking my car there in the future. Look at all those unintended puns! Great place, great team, great price, great service. Give 'em a try! read more

I took my car in because of engine issues and they figured out it was Turbocharger that needed replacing. They gave me a quote but advised me to first call Hyundai because it might still be under warranty - turns out they were right. I'm so appreciative of Andre for helping me out no strings attached. If I ever need a place to send my car again, future auto will definitely be at the top of my list! read more

They took a good care of my Chevy Volt. I needed a tire sensor changed and it was quick and easy. Ashley is amazing!

This place is amazing. Staff is great. Very nice and kind. Answered all my questions. 100 percent coming back !

Would not recommend this place. They tried to scam me. I took my car in for a diagnostic because there was a rattle in my rear tire. They gave me an estimate on how much it would be to fix and I took home to think about it. I paid the diagnostic fee which they told me that if I bring it back to fix they would take the fee off my bill. So a week later I took it back just for that and when I go to pay the tell me that it's not policy to take the diagnostic fee off the bill. (Which I double checked multiple times before taking it back to them). After going back a fourth he finally takes it off my bill. Thinking it's done I drive off and immediately hear the rattle again. So I call them tell them what happened and that the thing I went to them to get fixed is still broken. They say we can have them diagnose it again. (Which should have been done already). I ask will you charge me for that or are you guys going to take care of that. (Which on their website they have a 2year warranty) and the man says we'll take it back in on Monday at 8:30am and hangs up the phone. He didn't not check if that time works, just hung up. This place is a scam and has 0 customer service. read more

Up-front and forthcoming about all they did. gave me a comprehensive evaluation of all issue that might need looking at in the future of my car. And did so while always being pleasant. Will definitely take my hybrid back for future work. read more

I hit a big pothole and blew my front left tire on Forest Lawn in Burbank. AAA connected me with Future Auto for repair. However AAA couldn't locate and send a proper tow service to tow my car to Future Auto after 5 hours waiting. I eventually got help from Andre at Future Auto who secured a tow company. Meanwhile he also placed an order for the needed type/model of a replacement tire as I have a speciality sports car. When my car was finally towed to the shop, they were ready to go. The shop was so well managed, nicely decorated and clean, the staff is professional and cordial. Even I had a unexpected troublesome day, it ended on a nice note. Many thanks to Andre at Future Auto who helped me so much. I highly recommend this business, they are doing things right with care. read more

This is my favorite auto servicing place. I have been coming here since 2019 for all my car needs such as oil change, tire, engine, window repair etc. I commute from LA to Glendale, but I do not mind due to the pros of of this place. Their customer service is top notch. A gentleman named Tiko literally takes care of all my car's needs with professionalism and respectability. They also text and email me about my appointment with all the necessary details. Another thing I love about this place is the waiting room. Being a lady, I love to feel safe in whichever environment I go. The waiting room is so clean, and sophisticated. They have nespresso coffee, water, fruits and chocolates for their customers. read more

After finalizing the purchase of a 1994 Chevy G30 camper van at Burbank AAA, I headed for a smog shop to finish the registration process. The van shut off twice on the way to the smog shop, which was less than 1.5 miles away. I freaked out! I desperately needed to drive this vehicle back to my home near Sacramento. And yes, I had test driven the van on a previous day and did not experience any problems. I searched for a repair shop close by. None could help because they either didn't have time this late in the day (it was 3pm) or didn't have the equipment or space to service this large of a vehicle. Future Auto was the last place I called because I was intimidated by all of the high-end vehicles in their photos. I assumed they would be very expensive due to their "elite" service. Desperate to get an answer to whether the van could make the 6 hour drive I finally called. Tiko answered, I explained my situation and he said to bring it right over and they would try to help. Tiko and Jose were super helpful and kind. They thoroughly checked the systems and took it for a short test drive. They updated me several times during their inspection and we discussed the findings. Finally, we concluded that it was likely shutting off because the battery was not charged as a result of the van not being driven for so long. He recommended that I drive it around the neighborhood and/or let it run for a while. To be extra cautious he recommended I wait until traffic lightened up before making the long trip home. I had such piece of mind knowing that they had checked everything out. Thankfully I made it home! Tiko and Jose were amazing! Honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. They could have taken advantage of my desperate situation and overcharged me for all kinds of services, but they didn't. Based on my experience with Tiko and Jose, I highly recommend this place. read more

Not sure why when Chalard was like this but here's my story since there are other Chalard reviews here and this is his shop. There was always something strange about him. He helped my friend with his old Nissan sports car but when I came with my regular car he was rude. Always demanded I leave the car too. And the place was always dirty and greasy like they never cleaned anything. He would say well then why don't you do it and fix it yourself? So then I was fed up with that and I did and have been ever since. I changed to ceramic pads and instead of being impressed he said ha, good luck. I wasn't bad to him or anything. Brake pads are easy. He was so full of himself. But anyway this made me go elsewhere like to Wesdale by TJs. Chalard wasn't the cheapest either. I personally think he charged me a little extra for no reason. Friend recommended him. read more

*UPDATE* In response to the business owner Jesse that responded to my review....your records are wrong because I was NOT given a quote within 5 minutes....i was on hold and the second person I spoke with after holding said you're busy and to call back in 5 mins for a quote. So how would I have received a quote within 5 mins? The first woman I spoke with should've asked for my contact and called back with a quote if it was so busy. That would've been courteous. Either way I received a much better price & much better customer service somewhere else. Why would I ever give you another opportunity? There's no incentive to ever come to you. Especially after your follow up. read more

I want to give a big thank you to Future Auto!! I can honestly say they are the best shop in Burbank. I had a couple of issues with my older model Lexus. When I took the car in I was greeted with a smile. Everyone was very friendly. Let me tell you that doesn't happen very much now and day. The young man by the name of Tiko helped me out. Told me leave the car to get a full diagnose. Didn't take long when he got back to me and told me the problems with it. Gave me a very detailed list of the things the Lexus needed. Starting from what should be repaired first and the things that could wait just incase I wasn't able to do all the repairs. I felt very comfortable with the pricing and the time it will take to fix my car so I told Tiko to go right ahead with the repairs. I was very happy when I got my car back. The car drives great!!! They did an awesome job. I will be returning to them for any future maintenance! Thank you Tiko for all your help. read more

I'll never go to another mechanic!! The MOST honest and compassionate place. I came in with some serious issues and Andre walked me through everything so I could understand what each engine code meant, what needed to be repaired, and we worked out a plan for my car I felt comfortable with. He went the extra step to ensure my mysterious car problems were solved since they were unusual and required the hybrid specialist, John to work out the root of the issue. There is a rental car company right next door. I really couldn't have been happier with my experience. Future Auto is really setting a new standard for mechanics. read more

Great customer service I'll be back despite the issues I was told they had the battery I needed in stock, they didn't. But they ordered it when I got in. I basically got screwed for 2+ extra hours of time because the delivery service fucked up, I was getting a little close to a time crunch (as it was taking 5x as long as I was quoted) But the customer service was spectacular and it was a situation out of both of our control. Can't blame them for someone else's issue, yet they were chill and apologetic, they even knocked about 50% off my service & issued a future credit. I'm newish to the area, so I'll be back as I get through my list of maintenance I need done. Thanks guys! read more

My son and I both use Future for both of our vehicles. After years of being loyal customers at another place in town, the other place changed the way they operated and it was noticeable. That's when we tried out Future and we're so glad that we did. Andre and Ashley have been nothing but straight up honest and helpful, always doing their best to help us with whatever situation is going on at the time.
