They scheduled three separate appointments and did not show any of them. They disconnected my phone service after being a customer for 35years. I had to contact the FCC [which I highly recommend] to get them to reconnect my service. It took a month. They reimbursed me for $400.00. I subsequently went to MCN and am flabbergasted by the quality of their service. 1. No toll charges for long-distance domestic. 2. Outstanding service. If they tell you somebody will be at your house at a certain time they are there at or before the time. 3. Quality connection. It rarely drops out. I have unlimited data and am able to watch streaming videos off Netflix, Amazon, HBO, YouTube, etc. 4. When I call them I am never put on hold and they are always receptive to any issues. 5. A few days ago the city accidentally severed my phone/internet line. They repaired it but here is the kicker. When I called MCN to let them know the problem had been resolved they insisted on sending a tech to my house to make sure everything was OK. Now that is what I call customer service. 6. They were cheaper than AT&T by $80.00 This business is one of the best I have ever dealt with in any capacity. Highly recommend!!!

This week my connection started dropping at least 50% of packets. I called right away on Wednesday morning at 9am. They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. I asked if I could pick it up, or any other option to not be down for a day and they said there wasn't. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. I'm back online and very happy again.

Over the last 3 weeks I have tried to get in touch with them now 3 times on the phone (with messages forwarded from their answering service) as well as email with no response. It's extremely frustrating, and given the other positive reviews here about their service is extremely surprising. For a company that prides themselves on service, I'm surprised they use an answering service and do not publish a direct line to reach them. And even with the answering service, not returning multiple calls and emails is pretty bad service. I hope they can address this, I'm always rooting for small businesses over the big guys.

After complaining, Andy reached out and personally guaranteed he'd see to it that I got an installation date and he'd oversee the installation himself...that was two weeks ago. It's now obvious that this company only picks and chooses what customers they'd like to provide service to. BE AWARE if you're a potential customer. Customer service like thiS only can be assumed will be worse when you have an issue with their service. Be very aware! Also, they apparently hired a fresh-out-of-high-school kid Mateo) to answer the phones. It's rather unfortunate because the kid has absolutely zero social skills. He's probably a nice kid and all but has absolutely no knowledge of customer service. Seems almost like he's annoyed when he receives a phone call.
