Of the 3 two of them couldn't reach their tech to find out how soon they could be there and the third couldn't come out for 3 weeks. That's when I turned to Facebook and got many recommendations for Superior Garage Door. Chris answered my call right away and committed to come out the next morning before we were scheduled to leave town for a long weekend. We didn't want to leave everyone else in the house without use of the garage. The tech Gary arrived exactly when I was told he'd be here. He is personable, friendly, and very capable. In less than an hour Gary was done and the cost was exactly what Chris had told me over the phone. Superior is now in my contacts list. Thanks guys! Job well done!

I would like to share what I have just experienced…read more I recently purchased a home in the Ukiah area. At the same time, I was in the middle of buying some machinery from a Sonoma County equipment company. During a conversation with the salesman, I was asked what my experience has been like at the new place. My response was about 50/50. I had met some great contractors and some that made me question why I even wanted to be involved in another remodel. I was having difficulty finding the kind of help that I was looking for at my new home. He then said that I should have talked to him earlier. The salesman shared with me a couple of contractors that are in the area of my new home and gave them great reviews. Mike at Empire Garage Door was one of them. I should also mention that I am a contractor myself and that I do the best that I can to leave things in much better condition than how I found them. I am also into detailed classic cars and bikes. My garage needs to be just as nice. So do the doors. Mike came out and met with me. Right off I sensed that they we were in tune. He listened. He shared. He showed me many options. He spent as much time as he needed to make sure that he understood exactly what I was looking for and then he went away to do the proposal. I received a proposal soon after. Oh boy, I think I might have expensive taste. It was higher than I wanted it to be but I had also picked 4 of the nicest doors available. Mike was not bothered by this. He mentioned that there were many other options. He showed me doors that were a level down from the ones that I had originally picked and also gave me the cost for them. That is the way that we went. The deposit was paid and now we wait for the doors to be built and delivered. Once the doors were ready, I received an email and a call from Mike. We scheduled the install. It took a few days to complete because there were 4 doors and 4 motors. I got to hang out, work beside, watch, chat, and have lunch with Mike. The entire time, the energy, professionalism, kind disposition, motivation, care, cleanliness, etcetera, stands out. And, it clearly is not a show. Mike cares about doing a good job. So much time was spent properly adjusting, cleaning, picking up behind himself, and all of those kind of things. When the project was complete, Mike walked me through everything and made sure that I understood how everything worked. It all went well. Even the small custom requests that I threw in because I plan on doing a cool ceiling in my garage and shop. Only 1 thing remains. One of the many windows arrived cracked. I am not worried about it. Another replacement is on the way and I know that it will be taken care of. I LOVE my new doors and openers. I will be doing a few more projects around here that will end up needing the same matching doors. I am already excited to have Empire Garage Door company back to do that project too! I can't say enough good stuff about them. CALL THESE GUYS WHEN YOU NEED A GARAGE DOOR FOR YOUR GARAGE OR SHOP. The only thing that you may find disappointing is that you may have to wait because your door may need to be custom made or they may be busy. I can easily give Lalo's Garage Doors a 5+ rating!…read more After 20 years, one of our overhead door torsion springs finally snapped in two. Lalo quickly answered my call Sunday and was at my home on Monday morning to replace the broken spring. He also gave us sound advice to replace its 20 y.o. mate. Lalo was very conscientious, prepared, efficient and tidy. He went the extra mile by tightening all of loose bolts on the door and oiling all of the hinges and wheels. At no point did he try to upsell us on anything we didn't need and his pricing for parts and service is very fair. Lalo has now been added to my list of trusted contractors that help keep my house running as smoothly as my newly repaired garage door. Thank you Lalo!!
