He is indeed super friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and fast. Owner is Eduardo aka "Lalo." It was a Saturday morning, but he happily came out immediately. It took him 30 minutes to change out our springs, adjust the garage door opener chain, spray lubricant on all the metal hinges and rollers and test the safety sensor. He's been in business about nine years. Lalo's prices are competitive and we are delighted to have a working garage door opener again. Highly recommend!

When I asked about other options I was quoted $2,400 to replace the rollers, motor, and general maintenance. My spidey senses told me to get another opinion before committing- just seemed odd. Turbo was recommended by a few friends on Facebook. Turbo came in and I didn't mention the first quote. He looked at the same things, took a little more time, and said it needed new rollers but that with maintenance, I should have another ten years with the door. With all of the new rollers, maintenance and a couple of other parts I paid under $700. And my garage door hasn't sounded this quiet in months! The owner was on time, explained everything, and did quality work. A solid experience from start to finish.

The owner George returned my call to make appointment. First thing to remember is that George does not necessarily get to your place at a specific time. He called me to say he was 20 minutes away and whether I was home or not. Being retired, I was not concerned about the time. He showed up before my appointment. George give me some proposals based on what I said I was looking for. He is very personable and fun to talk to. I pretty much investigated with my son what we wanted ahead of time but still had to see the colors. From other contractor bids, I was told I had to do some preparation work like notch a workbench that was in the way of installing a track and get another garage door opener because old one could not be used due to crossbeam interference. Anyway, George said workbench had to be notched but they would do it. As to the garage door opener, they said they can work with the current garage door opener after slight modification. Not only was Landmark cost estimate better than other contractors but George was willing to go the extra effort that others did not. Installation by Robert was expertly done. He took about 6 hours for two doors. He was very businesslike but personable as well. You can tell he knew his stuff. When the physical installation was done, he reprogrammed the up and down limits of both openers and although willing to reprogram the remotes, I asked him to leave the remote codes alone. This way all relatives who have their car remote programmed to my opener did not have to do a reprogram. Yay. After installation, the 2-door one was making a lot of noise when operated by garage door opener. I text George and he came out the following day and within a minute knew what was wrong. Since one of the garage openers had to modified (not functionally), the garage door opener cover made the noise. George used two wood shims, and problem solved. Nice and quiet openers, both of them that I already had. Can't thank George and Robert enough for their expertise and work efforts. George has decades of experience and you can tell he enjoys his work. Other contractors were strictly professional, gave the facts/bid and then left. I enjoyed swapping stories with George.

We contracted with Don Daniels to form, pour and finish the concrete slab for our Mendocino County…read morehouse. We had some tight specifications, as the slab was designed to be dual reinforced for earthquake resistance and we framed with a factory built steel framed structure with tolerances of 1/8" or less over ten feet. Don and his crew arrived early each morning and quickly finished a top quality form and expertly placed and tied the rebar and wire mesh to my specifications. We had to delay the pour twice - once due to the concrete contractor not receiving their shipment of cement and a second time due to unexpected rain. Don graciously understood and arranged his schedule around the planned pours. This was a challenging pour that started early in the morning and extended to nightfall as it was a monolithic slab and footing. Don had an ample crew on site and they completed an extremely level slab. Later when my wife and I installed the tile floors, We had very few low or high spots and Don had cut the expansion joints precisely at locations which ended up exactly next to the interior walls which I really appreciated as the control joints will not harm the tile surfaces. I had Don return a year later after we had finished the house to pour a concrete patio and finish it with a colored and stamped pattern. We are extremely pleased with the result - its beautiful and complements the slate tile pattern of our great room.
