Roller was in bottom hole initially and Robert swapped into the upper hole and garage door now works flawlessly.

I called Landmark to ask if they sell parts without the service. Spoke to George and he said yes. I'm mechanically inclined so figured installing garage door springs won't be too much of a problem for me. Youtube helps also haha. Anyways when I went over to Landmark to pick the springs up, i had asked what he would charge to install them for me and his price was reasonable. George shows up in the afternoon 15 minutes before the time we planned for 4pm. Usually people you contract show up late but he was way on time. He replaced the springs and we noticed the garage door was binding right when it was about to close. He lubed springs and hinges and the problem was still there. Remember, I only hired him to install the springs, but he went above and beyond my expectations, trying to diagnose the problem. He said he would return with a reinforced bracket to install. Today Robert and Anthony show up and come to find out Robert has a ton of experience. He figured out that 2 of the rollers were installed in the wrong location which was causing the door to bind up with the door framing of the house. They repositioned the rollers, installed the reinforcement bracket and everything was all good. They did these repairs out of their own will and did not once ask for any additional payment for time and travel, parts, and their labor. I will definitely be doing business with them again and refering them to friends and family in need of any garage door and opener services . You don't find many people out there anymore that go over and beyond expectations. Most do the minimum and go on to the next job. Thanks again George, Robert, and Anthony.

Garage Hinges

I was looking for a garage hinges for garage door as shown in the pictures below and nothing can be found on Amazon or Ebay. I found out that this hinges are actually part of the garage panel and have been discontinued. I chance upon Landmark Garage and inquired from them. Justin quickly responded on my email telling me to send the pictures. He responded that he may have it in his stock room! After 2 days he texted me telling me that he has it. I arrange to pick it up with his Store Manager George and today and pick up the hinges. He ask me to pay $10 for 3 hinges but I gave him $20. This is an amazing experience with Justin and George of Landmark. I will definitely go to them if one day I have a problem on my garage door and will recommend them to family and friends.

Outstanding Service from Start to Finish - Highly Recommend!…read more I cannot say enough good things about Garage Door Opener Repair. When my garage door stopped working last night, I was dreading the typical runaround of automated phone trees and delayed callbacks. Instead, this morning, John personally answered on the first ring and immediately scheduled a technician for a couple of hours later. Ahmed arrived when promised and was absolutely exceptional. Within minutes, he had diagnosed the problem. What really impressed me was how he took the time to walk me through every repair option, explaining the pros and cons of each approach along with transparent pricing - no hidden fees or surprise charges. Not only did Ahmed fix the immediate issue, but he also performed preventive maintenance to help avoid future problems. As an unexpected bonus, I had been struggling with my car remote garage button, and he took the extra time to reprogram it properly. These thoughtful touches really set this company apart. The entire experience was seamless, professional, and reasonably priced. In a world where quality and personal service seems increasingly rare, Garage Door Opener Repair delivered exactly what they promised. I won't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to anyone needing garage door service. Plus they have 24/7 Emergency Service. This is how customer service should be done!

We had "Door Pros (Justin/Josh)" replace our old garage door about 6yrs ago. Yesterday (Sun,…read more1/25/26) we had an uneven load issue resulting in the improper tension and the two end lift cables misaligning the door so I frantically called and requested service via their online tool. Josh got back to me within a half hour asking for photos and descriptions to aid in resolution which I provided. Amazingly Josh scheduled their technician Matt for an appointment the next morning (Monday)..! Well Matt was incredibly understanding and quickly assessed the series of tasks to release the door, adjust the spring/torsion and accommodate for the slightly uneven driveway to ensure an even bottom seal. Further, Matt re-aligned the tracks, bracing, inspected and lubricated the rollers. It's still boggling to me that Matt was able to accomplish this repair in less than an hour.! I wish I could give Matt and "Door Pros" 10 stars instead of just 5. I wholeheartedly recommend "Door Pros" to everyone who not only needs a better garage door but also the years of support, service and trust you gain with great products. Thank you so much Matt! - Phil R.

Door Pros Garage Door Co…read more 2023 we purchased a very expensive wood garage door from Door Pros. Bobby was the salesmen in San Rafael. I should have ran once I met Bobby. The kind of guy that promises you the best in the world. Well when they delivered the door to install it the door was still wet from the stainer Door Pros had stain it. They swore it would be fine! Fast forward to 2026. I have had Door Pros out over 20 times to try and get the door properly working but every Tom, Dick, and Harry (smokers who smelled like a tobacco factory) they sent must have never been to garage door repair school. Joe the lead technician in the beginning told us the door needed to be taken off and sheetrock cut out so the door would run properly. The next Joe Schmoooo told us something different. So every guy that came out in 3 years had a different story. The last guy 2 months ago said it was installed wrong and he would have the owner call me next week but NEVER a call back. I even spoke with Josh the owner a few years ago and he said they would make it good. We finally said GOOD RIDDANCE to Door Pros. They aren't Pros at all. Just a company that gives a lot of talk and gives you no action. We called another company in SF and in once visit they told us Door Pros had installed the whole door wrong. Wrong springs, bend rails, etc. etc. The door after one visit works beautifully. So stay away from Door Pros. Listen to your gut. I wish I did as we wasted 3 years of our lives with that awful company. Too many photos to post but believe me I have them in a file of companies NOT TO USE.

The new door is even more beautiful than the old one! The installers and the painter were kind, helpful, and tidy and finished in one day. Lastly, and most importantly, Avi's expertise helped make the insurance claim process practically seamless. Highly recommended!!

We had a garage door issue and Gil's was the 3rd garage door company that we talked to. Garage…read moredoor company #1 sent a rep that was very pushy and super sketch. He also wanted $600 to lower the door prior to assessing and quoting on recommended repairs. Garage door company #2 sent a rep that was still very aggressive, but at least they were able to get the door in a somewhat functional condition (door rollers back on the rails, cabling back on the drums, spring tension redone) for $200. It was functioning in manual mode, but in automatic, the door would stop 2/3s of the way down and go back up. Company #2 incorrectly diagnosed the problem as an internal issue with the limits on the door opener. They also wouldn't give a straight quote or a recommendation on what to fix. It was more of an a la carte - if you want to replace the springs, $699; cables + drums + springs ($1529); garage door opener $2500+. This would be like going to a car mechanic for squeaky brakes and getting menu pricing of replacing each part of your car. I digress... here's the actual review: Because of the first two companies, I was ready for more shenanigans from Gil's. However, the representative that arrived was a breath of fresh air. Avi examined the area and gave us his assessment. The door was balanced and no visible issues with any of the parts. The Chamberlain wall mount unit was unlikely to be the issue as they are fairly robust units and probably just needed reprogramming. I told him I wanted to try and reprogram it myself and asked for a quote on a replacement in case it was an opener issue. Avi was extremely professional, honest, and taught us a little about the mechanics of the door opening system. Even though we were able to resolve the problem, I would definitely go with Gil's for any major repair. After seeing all three repairmen, I took some time on the weekend to see if there was anything I could adjust. I noticed the rail was two separate pieces of metal and that they weren't aligned perfectly with each other. I used an adjustable wrench to bend the rails a little to fix that. I also added some lubricant to the rails and cleaned the safety sensors as well. Garage door is working like a charm now.
