The kind of guy that promises you the best in the world[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Well when they delivered the door to install it the door was still wet from the stainer Door Pros had stain it. They swore it would be fine! Fast forward to 2026. I have had Door Pros out over 20 times to try and get the door properly working but every Tom, Dick, and Harry (smokers who smelled like a tobacco factory) they sent must have never been to garage door repair school. Joe the lead technician in the beginning told us the door needed to be taken off and sheetrock cut out so the door would run properly. The next Joe Schmoooo told us something different. So every guy that came out in 3 years had a different story. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The last guy 2 months ago said it was installed wrong and he would have the owner call me next week but NEVER a call back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I even spoke with Josh the owner a few years ago and he said they would make it good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We finally said GOOD RIDDANCE to Door Pros. They aren't Pros at all. Just a company that gives a lot of talk and gives you no action. We called another company in SF and in once visit they told us Door Pros had installed the whole door wrong. We had "Door Pros (Justin/Josh)" replace our old garage door about 6yrs ago. Yesterday (Sun, 1/25/26) we had an uneven load issue resulting in the improper tension and the two end lift cables misaligning the door so I frantically called and requested service via their online tool. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Josh got back to me within a half hour asking for photos and descriptions to aid in resolution which I provided.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazingly Josh scheduled their technician Matt for an appointment the next morning (Monday)..![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well Matt was incredibly understanding and quickly assessed the series of tasks to release the door, adjust the spring/torsion and accommodate for the slightly uneven driveway to ensure an even bottom seal. Further, Matt re-aligned the tracks, bracing, inspected and lubricated the rollers. It's still boggling to me that Matt was able to accomplish this repair in less than an hour.! They just did not order my door, but yet took my money. Initially door pros said that the door did not come painted and tried to say i painted it (i have proof on the invoice the door came in that color), then they said that it looks like that i applied some type of chemical to the door causing the paint to come off, despite if you look at it, it literally look like the paint is being scraped off, meaning a faulty install. Suffice to say extremely frustrated with this company, i would tread very lightly if considering them for your garage door needs and hopefully you dont need after warranty support, because its not good at all. read more

I ordered a garage door after two months I called and turns out they never ordered it. They tried blaming the manufacturer but that was not true. The door was ultimately installe 6 weeks ago and they have not returned my calls to complete the trim installation and exterior key. The installers stole a battery off my electrical charger and used a brand new ladder I had in the garage. This morning as I prepared to drive our for some errands, as I was waiting for the garage door to finish closing, I noticed that it only went down halfway and then would reverse to open again. I contacted Door Pros to see if I could get a consultation. Instead of doing a consultation for repairs, they were able to sent someone out right away, in fact, they came in about 10 minutes after my call. They were able to replace the cables on both sides of the door and they checked all of the other bolts on the door and tightened them. About 2 weeks later we noticed an exterior scratch in one of the windows which there was no way we could have done it. The way they transport the garage panels they are unprotected, so it was obviously scratched when they installed it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted them numerous times to get the window replaced. They said the installer "notes" said it was not there on install but refused to show us those "notes"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I held off writing a review because I assumed the company would stand by their install and replace a $45 (retail price) window on a $4,500 install. Let's start with the good -- the installation was better than good it was fantastic. Miguel, Bobby and Joe were truly amazing. The weather was terrible, the door harder to install then any of us thought but they persevered, solved problems as they arose and installed a stunning garage door. Everyone who comes to our house wants to know where we got the garage door and whether they can take a picture. The only thing stopping me from a 5 star review was the ordering process was very poorly handled and resulted in some pretty serious delays that could have been and should have been easily avoided.
