My garage door opener wouldn't open the door. I noticed that a spring was broken and assumed that was the problem. I called A & Em and was able to talk to Derek. He was very patient and said he would arrange to come by within noon to 1:30 the same day. He was very prompt and professional but also very friendly and personable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the options available and the costs involved. We agreed on the repairs and costs. Derek had the job done within an hour and made sure it was working smoothly. He answered all of my questions before leaving and encouraged us to call if we had any more questions or problems. Derek came over the next day to give the diagnosis and repair estimate. Our spring had broken and was an unusual size, it being so old. So, he said he could get one and repair within a few days.
