Ab Garage Doors did a great job figuring out the problem with my garage door, and fixing it as efficiently as possible, without overcharging at all, and in fact discounting my service. Manu came out the same day to check the situation, and determined I needed a new garage door opener. Since I was purchasing a new opener, he discounted labor costs by $150, lubricated the springs, and replaced the rollers, discounting those by $100. Manu was very flexible and accommodating about scheduling, and he was able to install the new opener within the framework of my 31-year-old one, without needing to cut into the garage ceiling/attic floor. If I could give this incompetent so-called "contractor" ZERO stars I would. Against my better judgment I fell for his sob story about why my job was delayed over 2 months because he was sick. I should have moved on, but I didn't and now I am here to warn anyone else not to make the same mistake. This guy is an excellent salesman and that is about where his expertise stops. I called today because my garage door stopped working and Manu responded immediately and guarantee a 2 o'clock spot today. He was on time and professional and knew exactly what was wrong. He replaced my springs on both sides and it was a fair price and he included some other minor fixes which he did not charge. I called Menu to replace our garage door. It was stuck and slid out of tracks. He persuaded us to fix parts instead of replacing the whole set completely. No BS costs associated. much more quieter wheels than the original. wont seel you something you dont need so be careful as other companies will force you into things like stating Cali law says its required to have a back up battery to your garage motor. AB came out when everyone else said it was too late, call tomorrow. He said my motor was very weak and needed to be replaced. One of my overhead springs was broken, needed to replace both springs. My parents garage door was broken and stuck, almost needed him to come out at 9pm at night which he was willing today but was up front the cost would be additional $100 for after hours.
