Response / communication time was quick- less than an hour after they got our call. Amazing work- professional and with integrity; not to mention competitive price! Our garage door needed the chain and 2 springs replaced. Manu explained everything in detail to the core. (Had another guy come with a quote and started haggling prices, blah blah blah). AB garage doors completed the job in an hour. Our garage door is working beautifully and sounds so smooth. Highly recommend this company. Thank you! read more

Now days garage springs just don't last but 3-4 years for me. I'm looking for better! Ab Garage Doors have really good customer service. Same price range as other companies & an excellent warranty for parts & labor. Also, he spoke highly of his springs being of good quality. Thanks Manu! read more

Quick reply after I made a request for a garage door repair. My garage door wasn't opening. They came to my house the soonest time that I was available. It was determined that my sensors were just misaligned and the rails and springs needed to be lubricated. They helped fix the issue and didn't try to make any drastic repairs that weren't actually needed. I definitely recommend using them for your garage door repair or service needs. read more

I initially called another garage door repair company when one of my springs broke. They wouldn't provide even a rough price range over the phone and instead offered to send a technician out for a "free estimate." After arriving, they quoted me $600 just for the springs. Around the same time, Manu from AB Garage Door reached out after I requested quotes from several Yelp companies. He gave me a price upfront that was significantly lower than what the other company wanted to charge for the springs alone--and his quote included both parts and labor. I scheduled Manu for the next day, and he completed the job in less than an hour. The repair also came with a three-year warranty, which gave me additional peace of mind. While he was there, Manu offered to replace my rollers at a discounted price. I decided to pass for now, but he took the time to explain how I could replace them myself in the future. Manu was friendly, professional, honest, and efficient. I saved his contact information in my phone and will be using him exclusively for any future garage door needs. Overall, it was a great experience and excellent workmanship. read more

Very professional and friendly service! No problems at all! Will contact again for future installs or repairs.

They were quick to respond to our inquiry and come by to check our garage opener. After diagnosing the issue, provided workable options along with 3-4 year warranty for parts & labor to ensure it could remain operational worry-free. We opted for a service package deal to replace the entire garage opener to 1 horsepower & new springs, so they provided free rollers which has made the garage so much smoother & quieter. Even during installation, they encountered a broken roller hinge & installed a new one ($20 value). To avoid paying extra by credit card, he stuck around to wait as a family member went to withdraw cash and save us $30-$40. All the while, walking through how to connect our phone to the garage opener app for controls & camera. Some older parts they recommended we keep then throw out, so we have backup parts for things like the sensors. Outstanding work, all done within 1.5 hrs. read more

We called AB for Service and Manu came over within 15 mins and was able to detect the problem immediately. He recommended a new opener as ours was over 23 years old. He was very knowledgeable therefore we felt comfortable doing the new opener with him. He came the next day and installed it and did a great job and helped us set up the app on our phone!! Definitely recommend this company. read more

He was great! Called immediately, responded within an hour, fixed my garage door and was reasonably priced.

One of the main springs broke on my garage door. As a result, the garage door would not open. So I called A.B Garage Door Repair. The owner, Manu, came out in 2 hours and replaced both springs. And the cost was $200. lower than the first guy I called. So yes, I highly recommend A.B Garage Door Repair for your garage door needs. read more

Ab Garage Doors did a great job figuring out the problem with my garage door, and fixing it as efficiently as possible, without overcharging at all, and in fact discounting my service. Manu came out the same day to check the situation, and determined I needed a new garage door opener. Since I was purchasing a new opener, he discounted labor costs by $150, lubricated the springs, and replaced the rollers, discounting those by $100. Manu was very flexible and accommodating about scheduling, and he was able to install the new opener within the framework of my 31-year-old one, without needing to cut into the garage ceiling/attic floor. Excellent service at a great value! read more

Called AB explain to him what was going on with my garage door Sent him some pictures right away. He told me what he needed to fix came out and did a great job. Resemble pricing too. read more

Great service. Gives you the price upfront. I recommended him to my coworker the next day.

If I could give this incompetent so-called "contractor" ZERO stars I would. Against my better judgment I fell for his sob story about why my job was delayed over 2 months because he was sick. I should have moved on, but I didn't and now I am here to warn anyone else not to make the same mistake. This guy is an excellent salesman and that is about where his expertise stops. From scheduling, to communication, to the quality of work this process has been a nightmare. All we needed was new openers installed and it took over 4 months, 3 separate visits and hours of labor all for me to get the wrong product that still doesn't work properly. The icing on the cake is that if/when you have an issue with his work, HE WON'T RETURN YOUR CALLS, TEXTS OR E-MAILS!! WARNING!!! This company is NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR THE FEW DOLLARS YOU MAY POTENTIALLY SAVE! Run, run far away. UPDATE! Apparently you can get a call back. All you have to do is post an honest review of your experience and magically he knows how to return calls! Good to have confirmation I was leaving messages in the right place and he did have my callback info correct. Terrible customer service and quality of work. Manu B- FALSE. Can you please look at the pictures below and explain to me why I would pay a $1900 invoice to your company via Zelle and why someone from your company just called me from the number shown which I had previously stored as your business contact after posting this review. This is the same contact I had been working with to schedule the job, make payment and follow up with when problems occurred. No response EVER until now. Shame on you for having ZERO integrity. Do better. Manu- AGAIN FALSE. I don't appreciate liars. Since you seem to have trouble keeping records straight let me help refresh your memory AGAIN! Here is a screenshot of me reaching out to the same number that called me after posting this review in Feb 2025 regarding an issue I was having. Can you see underneath my message? THAT'S RIGHT... NO RESPONSE! Please save the speech about your pride and how you will make it right. You're a joke and so is your customer service. read more

Manu was quick to respond and did an excellent job replacing the spring on my garage door. The spring broke at 6pm and he was at my house working at 715am the next morning. The garage door now operates great and I'm very pleased with the work he did. read more

I called today because my garage door stopped working and Manu responded immediately and guarantee a 2 o'clock spot today. He was on time and professional and knew exactly what was wrong. He replaced my springs on both sides and it was a fair price and he included some other minor fixes which he did not charge. You can tell he has a lot of knowledge I will use them again because I planned later on to change the motor to have a more updated system but he said it was no need for right now I highly recommend Manu being a female and getting people to come and over price "or tell you things to be replaced when it doesn't need to. Manu was very honest he said the only thing I needed was the spring and I was planning to replace the nylon rollers to make it quieter, but he said it was no need for that and he took care of it thank you so much Manu for coming out today and fixing my garage repairs and now my garage opens quietly and smooth ! read more

Manu provided outstanding and high-quality work. When my old garage door fell off and bent the tracks, it wouldn't close all the way, which was a security problem. Catastrophe averted! 10:15pm - My garage went off track. 11:14pm - I quickly got a call from Manu after submitting a quote request in Yelp. 11:39pm - Confirmed with Manu that I wanted emergency service after reading his amazing reviews. 12:15am - Manu shows up and demonstrates brilliant expertise in repairing my garage door. He also provided a very fair quote for needed repairs. 12:52am - We shake hands after a job well done. I can now close my garage door without worrying about it being stuck open all night. I will sleep in peace. Manu could have charged more for the great value he gave my family tonight. However, he is a fair and reasonable man. He is also kind, respectful, and professional.
