I was given a two hour window on a Saturday for a garage door tuneup. 15 minutes before the two hour window is up, I get an impersonal text, not even a phone call, to tell me the technician is running late. I have to call to find out late he's going to be and I'm informed it'll be at least an hour. I have a hard time believing 15 minutes before my 2-hour window was over they just found out he would be late, but wether or not they did, you can't even make a phone call to the customer? To me this says a lot.

Very professional! Clean cut! Looks at the situation, tells me exactly what's going on. He's done in no time. Resets our remotes, downloads an app on our cell phones...... I mean this man went above and beyond! I CANNOT recommend Ace's Garage Door Repair And Installation highly enough!!!! Very Disappointing Experience with Ace Door Repair…read more We previously used Ace Door Repair through Old Republic Home Protection and had an okay experience, but this time was completely different. Our garage door came off the rollers and would not close, and the issue also damaged the wooden housing. Ace came out and told us that the repair was not covered by our home warranty. Since then, the experience has been extremely frustrating. They told us they had ordered a replacement panel and would return to complete the repair. I took an entire day off work for the scheduled appointment, only to have them not show up and not call. After trying to reach them, I was eventually told the part had been ordered--but it turns out the part was never ordered at all. What is most disappointing is the complete lack of communication and follow-through. If you make an appointment and tell a customer a part has been ordered, you should honor that commitment or at the very least communicate when something changes. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Ace Door Repair. They did not stand behind their work, failed to communicate, and wasted an entire day of my time.
