Unfortunately I have no choice but to write this review. I live 40 minutes away from the business and called on 11/17/20 to ask about replacing the screen on my Galaxy S8. I was told they would have to order the part and it would arrive 3 days later (Friday the 20th). I was told they needed a $20 deposit to order the part. I was told they would call on Friday and I would drive down to have it repaired the same day. Fast forward to today, 11/25/20, and I have not heard from them. I called, explained the situation, and was told that nothing could be done until 11/30/20, when they expected to be able to speak with the employee who took my money. It was also implied that I signed paperwork indicating that the deposit is non-refundable. I want my money refunded right now. read more

Pete and his team came through for me and I appreciate having a local business that I can count on. They replaced the front screen on my iPhone XS for an extremely fair price. After Mendo TechNet's warranty expired, I had several issues with the phone, including random rebooting. Apple tried to convince me it was because of the cracked back screen & only wanted to sell me another phone. Mendo TechNet offered to replace the front screen a second time & check the battery to help me diagnose the root cause before further investing. Hours suck! They open after I go to work and they close before I get off, so I can either eat my lunch Or pick up my computer. I wasn't very happy with the outcome, should have been able to more and do it much faster, and never got updated I had to call, if you have my machine for more than a month some updates would be expected, pretty much if you do something, call and give me an update even if it is to say, started cuz, but not done and will need to complete. Terrible experience wish I had read more reviews before dealing with these folks. took my iphone 11 in for a screen repair they didn't unplug the battery before doing any work which caused it to short circuit and overheat deeming my phone unrepairable. was still charged 205$ please take the time to find ANYWHERE else it'll save you time and money read more

I really wanted to like this biz as its local, was recommended, seemed like nice people. But... My pc issue was not fixed (died during interrupted update), they ended up selling me a refurbished computer, returned it to me not very timely, not in effective working order and with files backed up only to Onedrive (OK but not ideal), returned my old laptop in messy condition and with screws missing. I was able to fix the functionality issues on the replacement computer with my original harddrive. It wasn't that easy to get updates and my computer actually travelled with tech to Lakeport for several days. If you have a straight forward problem that they can fix they are probably great as the 5 star reviews suggest. I would not recommend for data recovery or for more advanced issues. Taking my original laptop elsewhere for diagnostics to fix original problem after paying off Mendo Technet. read more

I brought my phone here to have the screen repaired. I had purchased SquareTrade insurance and wasn't really sure what to expect. After I filed a claim, they allowed me to go to a local place to get the screen repaired. The young gentlemen were very professional and nice. When I walked into their office they had nice desks set up and I could see where they were working. I had a few questions, which they had the answers to. I felt comfortable leaving my phone with them because they really seemed like they knew what they were doing. When I got my phone back It was done so well. I was afraid that my camera may have been damaged and they said they would look at it for me. It wasn't, thank goodness. I am really happy with the result and the service. I wouldn't take my phone anywhere else to be replaced. read more

If you plan on actually getting your computer fixed or anything I recommend going anywhere else. Most unreliable unqualified electronic place ever. Workers are never in office. They have no problem taking your money but have a huge problem actually working. Made a deposit 4 weeks later my device still hasn't been touched. Don't see how a business like this is still open. Terrible service. Terrible everything. Might as well full send and drive to Santa Rosa at least then you know you won't have your time wasted. Overall biggest waste of time regret ever stepping foot into this business or furthermore ever even calling them. read more

Horrible work. I had an iPad and lab top repaired, when I got them back they were both in worse condition before they were repaired. iPad screen coming apart, battery was not replaced. The lab top had no issues before, I had the ram upgraded and when I got it back the network adapter chip is broken. Customer service is horrible. Computer tech has an attitude. Tech wouldn't return my calls either. read more

They are a locally owned business and a new one at that. I try to support these efforts whenever I can. I had a cracked screen on my iPad Mini, and they did a superb job repairing that at a fair price. A month later, I had a cracked screen on my Smart Phone. What a disaster! They promised a replacement screen would arrive within a week and it didn't until a week later. I got called that the screen was in, so I took my phone in to have the work done. I went back a few hours later, the tech in the office knew nothing about it and the work had not been done. I got home and got a call and they told me that they ordered the wrong part. So, I picked it up and when I got home, I found that I had no signal.... all functions had worked fine on the phone when I had first dropped it off. The phone was brought back that afternoon so they could 'hook up a wire'. Well, they couldn't get it done then and needed a few more days. I cancelled my work request, forfeited my $20 deposit and am going to buy a new phone. The people who run this shop are nice people and are not trying to cheat anyone. They just do not demonstrate the competency they advertise. Sorry, if you are trying to start a business or maintain a business, you need to meet your customers' reasonable expectations....and mine were to do what they promised to do, nothing more, nothing less.
