This week my connection started dropping at least 50% of packets. I called right away on Wednesday morning at 9am. They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. I asked if I could pick it up, or any other option to not be down for a day and they said there wasn't. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. I'm back online and very happy again.

I'm so glad she did! The service itself has been great so far and the customer service is top-notch. These folks really are our neighbors on the coast and care about the quality of their work. I have a remote worker in my household who has had to go work at the cafe in the past due to other companies' outages but who hasn't had to leave the house once since we got Further Reach. In this day and age, it seems rather amazing to find such a technically capable company that also appears to have a genuine concern for it's customers, actually lowering it's prices due to cost savings with no decrease in service at one point. Their commitment to providing fast, reliable service at affordable rates for rural customers is truly commendable !

I needed the Internet to keep up with the latest treatments, view online medical seminars, stay in touch with care providers and concerned friends, and look up research and information. Previously, I had considered two other companies, but I was unhappy with the way their customer service worked with me. It was only until a neighbor mentioned Valley of the Moon (noting that some of my trusted friends used VOM, too) that I decided to give them a call. Best move I could have made. David and his brother, Michael, came out, met my landlord, evaluated what was needed and came back as soon as they had what they needed. They installed it and I've had no problem. What REALLY impressed me was their honesty and fair play. That is so hard to find in today's "dog eat dog" economy. They were affordable even with my limited budget and they had no usage restrictions like the other companies. This had made my life easier, less stressful and I can move forward.

Over the last 3 weeks I have tried to get in touch with them now 3 times on the phone (with messages forwarded from their answering service) as well as email with no response. It's extremely frustrating, and given the other positive reviews here about their service is extremely surprising. For a company that prides themselves on service, I'm surprised they use an answering service and do not publish a direct line to reach them. And even with the answering service, not returning multiple calls and emails is pretty bad service. I hope they can address this, I'm always rooting for small businesses over the big guys.
