Over the course of at least 4 months I uploaded document after document. Expressed I wanted to talk to someone. Expected I would be contacted with enough time to come in and talk to someone. Called about 2 months before the deadline expressioning concerns about not hearing anything and was assured they could meet the deadline of 10/15. I said patient expecting them to do their job. Finally, when I hadn't heard, a day before the deadline, I called. No call back. Got chat message late at night. Received my document at 4:30 p.m. on the day of the deadline, with no chance to talk to anyone. Even better they are closed on Friday so I can't even call them. I felt forced to sign the documents to meet the deadline. If I'd known this would happen I would have used someone else. Beyond disappointed. And I just received invoice for $575.

About 4 years ago AT&T [the worst corporation in America] did a number on me. They called me to ask…read moreto set me up with Uverse. They scheduled three separate appointments and did not show any of them. They disconnected my phone service after being a customer for 35years. I had to contact the FCC [which I highly recommend] to get them to reconnect my service. It took a month. They reimbursed me for $400.00. I subsequently went to MCN and am flabbergasted by the quality of their service. 1. No toll charges for long-distance domestic. 2. Outstanding service. If they tell you somebody will be at your house at a certain time they are there at or before the time. 3. Quality connection. It rarely drops out. I have unlimited data and am able to watch streaming videos off Netflix, Amazon, HBO, YouTube, etc. 4. When I call them I am never put on hold and they are always receptive to any issues. 5. A few days ago the city accidentally severed my phone/internet line. They repaired it but here is the kicker. When I called MCN to let them know the problem had been resolved they insisted on sending a tech to my house to make sure everything was OK. Now that is what I call customer service. 6. They were cheaper than AT&T by $80.00 This business is one of the best I have ever dealt with in any capacity. Highly recommend!!!

I picked up my fliers a couple hours later and was charged almost $20. If I had been told how much it would be from the start, I would not have ordered them. The only reason I ordered that many was because I was told for only 50 of them it would cost me $15, so I went with the cheaper option. I will not be using The Color Mill again.

Cynthia Frank basically held my hand through the process; as well, I received great support from their staff. This small publishing house offered me their expertise, 25 years of it, guiding me, as I had no experience with the vast world of publishing. As a first-time author, I knew I did not want to search for an agent; not only dealing with rejections, but the long wait time, the potentially severe editing, and in the end, plenty of money out, but not much hope for income. I also knew I did not want to take on the task of "self-publishing." Cypress House has an imprint called "Lost Coast Press." It publishes several books each year. Cynthia offered to publish my book under their imprint. For me, it was the perfect match. We entered into a contract, and seven months later (as accurately predicted by Cynthia) my book was released. Publishing a book is costly, period. So much work goes into the editing, design and details. And that's after the many years I spent writing it! My book is out there due to the quality work and caring of these professionals.
