    16 oz. Iced Chai
    Yvonne D.

Stopped by because I was early for my lirr train. This place is so inviting, bright and airy. They have a backyard but I didn't get to check it out but people were sitting out there! I got an iced chai and an egg sandwich. Service was quick and friendly. The egg sandwich was delicious, the spicy sauce was the perfect addition to it. The bread was toasted, buttery and soft. The chai was nice and flavorful, not overly milky like some places.

Well, I been coming here once a week because it's right across from my laundromat that I do laundry once a week. So it's just convenient. The place is cute and staff very friendly. But so far not impressed by the things I have ordered. Had a vanilla latte twice and both times soooooo strong, could not taste vanilla or sweetener. So I tried a chi tea latte and it was lukewarm and barely any chi taste. The best thing was the marble muffin. The menu looks promising but don't know if the actual food will be any good. Will try again next week.

When I first arrived I was met by staff that were kind and kept the energy just the same. Then I guess the shift changed and there were new employees that appeared... new to the area. One saw me on the patio going through my suitcase as I had just landed. She failed to see my plate/mug and assumed I didn't know how cafes work. When asked if she could get anything started for me I assured her I was good with my latte. She looked absolutely shocked and what energy she created lingered. But I mean, lol.

When I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich at Furman's, I had no idea what I was in for. Thick slices of sourdough bread fried and pressed in sharp cheese and jalapeños, filled with cream cheese and bacon add-on. A cup of warm maple syrup for drizzling was a tasty accompaniment. I had to eat this sandwich in intervals, it was colossal! Minus one star because in my opinion, cream cheese isn't the best option for this doughy deliciousness. The cheese filling should be smooth like cheddar or smoked gouda. The servers attitudes were a bit bland. Maybe they aren't morning people.

I really liked the interior of this place. The plants and exposed brick wall give it a nice modern industrial aesthetic. I ordered a 12oz black drip coffee for $3, which was decent but too acidic for my taste. The egg sandwich took a good ten minutes to come out. The brioche bun was nicely toasted and tasted good, and there was just the right amount of chipotle mayo. The egg was fluffy but not seasoned at all, so it was a bit bland. Overall pretty good but not sure it was worth the $8.

Cool warm vibe but my latte had no foam... it was an espresso with warm milk. Maybe the barista was new, maybe she didn't care. I might go back to try something else but absolutely loved the interior set up.

This was one of the first coffee shops I explored when I newly moved into the neighborhood. I'm glad I did: strong coffee. Affordable. Friendly staff! What else? Oh; egg sandwiches. I always thought the sign outside was just a false claim (please don't hate me for saying this!) but FOREAL IT IS THE BEST EGG SANDWICH EVER. Their Cajun sauce is so damn delicious and it's so gourmet with the brioche bread. Oh my! It's a little pricey, but worth it. Additional cost for avocados. And you know what gen Z said about millennials, we love avocados on our shit. So yeah! It's like $1-2? No biggie. Anyway, this review is written during Covid but does not take away anything pre-Covid. Enjoy!

Love the espresso cups here! Staff is very friendly too.

Not my favorite coffee shop in the area, but still quite nice. Staff are very friendly and the coffee is good. Just a bit cramped. And really not so easy with those stairs when you have a stroller. Other nice places nearby for coffee are Zabka (new, good coffee and no stairs! lol very chill space) or Paris Dakar (coffee less good but they have French stuff and super friendly people).

Adorable, streamlined utilitarian coffee shop with the bare essential premium needs that a coffeehead might need: Victorian daybed, fireplace and coat rack, 10 ft long communal table, 10ft counter, window view... course pay by credit only. We r future moving sleek. Had the flat white... she made it extra hot too. Special milk in the fridge, boxed water, colson pastry check. I'm coming here from now on for the chill, no bother vibe, but just enough space for 5 patrons to be sharing the same space at the same time and it feels like you have an entire coffee shop playing neo alternative music to yourself. I'm sorry but this spot is kinda the shit.

    Cute counter setup with mugs

It's very cozy and homey. But just remember to be courteous, that this is a business so it's okay to do work here but if you're gonna be chilling for a while make sure you're getting some drinks every hour or tipping the 'tender. Also careful with some of the hot drinks they can be really.... hot. I burnt the roof of my tongue on my hot cider drink.

You think they are going to just hand you your dreams? I don't want a treat. I didn't earn a treat. A black coffee is like running on an empty stomach. It puts you in a different mindset. Survival mode. On the hunt. I gotta earn the food. Imagine what they would say about me if they saw me drinking a dirty chai latte in the morning. Imagine what I would say about myself. I didn't earn that. I need to stay close to God. All this to say I tend to stay far away from hyped up coffee shops but my big bro wanted to hit Rhythm Zero, and he is big bro for a reason, so I obliged. I entered into a small space that feels vast. High ceilings. Minimal furniture. Huge Renaissance-style art on the walls. An environment tailor made for you to lose sight of yourself and order their $8 Coco Americana. I won't lie. I thought about it. A moment of weakness. "It's just an americano that swaps out standard water for chilled coconut water..." No. I went to the bathroom and looked myself in the mirror. COWARD! Who do you want to be? I walked out. It's not giving community coffee shop, it's giving gtfo as quick as you can. The decor and vibe just felt so off. Giving coffee shop art studio museum but in the worst way possible? Went with a friend and we both immediately felt a bad energy. The person taking our order was just a little stand off ish. We just wanted to get our drinks and get out as quick as possible. We got the blackberry matcha and a latte. You're not going for the matcha, because the matcha flavor isn't really there ~ the blackberry was fine, super sweet though. Had 3 espresso shots in the latte yet it was still somehow so watered down and had an odd aftertaste. Big yikes overall, we could've dealt with the weird pretentious vibes if the coffee was actually good. Only upside is TakuSando is a block away. EDIT: For Bri Can totally understand if people have off days, maybe the baristas were having a bad day, it happens. Either way, the review reflects what we experienced. We had heard great things but unfortunately felt unwelcome from the moment we ordered, whether intentional or not ~ the energy felt cold to us and that changed the experience. & we just didn't love the drinks. You're def right, Rhythm Zero just isn't our cup of tea and that's totally fine. Hope yall continue to do your best and serve the fan base you have :) Love small businesses, don't love a weird Yelp guilt trip (which seems like a pattern for you across all 3 locations...)
