Spicy linguini and cheesesteak
Robin I.

What a surprise... Wasn't expecting much at Legoland but the food here surprisingly had flavor. Although it was a bit pricey I thought for an amusement park catered to little kids the food was more than edible. The spicy linguini was pretty spicy and smothered in sauce. The cheesesteak was actually a decent sandwich with toasted bread and tender juicy meat. Within in the park this spot is a good option.

Tofu curry bowl 12.89

The good thing about a one star review for this restaurant is that there's much opportunity for improvement. The downside for the health conscious consumer is that the choices of food here are limited. I chose the tofu curry bowl. Tofu was greasy, sauce was greasy, however, the string beans were tender crisp. Urban Kitchen prides itself in freshness, preparing food as we wait. So while the bowl was prepared in front of us while we watched, I was shocked to see the amount of oil added to the food. Other hot lunch choices were a greasy Philly steak and a shrimp fettuccine in a spicy red sauce. The kids were hungry and while one chose the chicken fingers the other chose fettuccine with cheese. The chicken fingers were hard, as though they were either deep fried to a crisp or had been sitting under the warmer waiting to be plated. The fettuccine was nothing more than greasy noodles topped with Parmesan cheese. Did I mention kids meal came with potato chips and a package of gummy fruit ? We sat outside, that was a positive. The inside was a tad loud and crowded for my dining pleasure. I do believe it would take just a tiny bit of effort to create a healthy dining option at the park, which would be rewarded by happy customers. Try it Legoland, not every restaurant has to be greasy, meaty and overpriced.

Custom salad for the single trip salad bar

I think this is now called Urban Kitchen. I was expecting the same old over priced pizza and sandwiches like all other theme parks, but was really impressed by the food selection here. My husband and I were surprised at how reasonable the prices were. I guess we were so used to Disneyland prices. I opted for the one trip salad bar. It was very clean and everything was drag. I loved that they included several pre mixed vegetable options like Greek cucumber salad with feta cheese. It came out to $12.50 and was delicious. My husbands steak sandwich was pretty good for just under $12 My daughters large scoop of vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone was $3.50 I saw a bunch of other delicious goodies like rice crispy treats, cookies, and brownies. I came on a Friday in December, so it was basically empty with no lines and plenty os seating.

Kids meal details as of 10/5/18

this was our best meal at Legoland, which isn't really saying much. ;) Kids meal is $8.99 and was a choice of fried chicken tenders, big hot dog or chicken pesto wrap, plus chips and fruit and juice. The wrap looked awful and I didn't want to get my kid something fried, so hot dog it was. Tasty, and he enjoyed getting to pick from the wide variety of chips. My favorite thing here was the salad bar, and unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it! I got a HUGE salad, and it was the same price regardless of how much you piled on, so I had a lot of veggies and cubes of ham piled up there! ;) I think it was $10 or $11? For legoland, a good price - though I wish there had been more options to choose from.

This place was loaded full of healthy options and yummy treats for all. So impressed with their selections. Really appreciated the food amd service here! We were here on a less crowded day.

Fun Town Market is one of the dining options in Legoland. Located in Fun Town, it's central and easy to find. It's a short building with glass windows and doors on every side. It looks quaint and comfortable. Inside is a more of a cafeteria area with tables and chairs and different dining and food stations including salad, sandwiches, ice cream, and coffee. I personally didn't eat anything here. This is a must-stop even if you aren't eating. For fans of LEGO, you'll marvel at the historic LEGO sets all over. In addition to featuring local Carlsbad/San Diego AFOL creations, you'll also see countless sets of yesteryear with a brick showing when the set was released. These go all the way back to LEGOs roots as a wood and plastic toy manufacturer. It was amazing to see sets from the 1950s, 1960s, 70s, 80s, 90s, through to today; all complete in the box. Things have changed a lot, but these old bricks still work with ones bought today. It's a great place to take pictures and just enjoy how far LEGO has come!

All kinds of food at reasonable prices for an amusement park, but chaotic on a first visit. Might be the best food deal at the park, but unclear where to pay on first visit, seems like you are on treasure hunt to find ketchup, mustard, and utensils (on a hidden table after past cashier. Hot dogs, chicken strips, wok food, sandwiches, beer, and lots more.

Not sure why the CYSCO containers are all over - for decoration? For when the salad bar runs out of beets? For branding? Odd!

Legoland's Fun Town Market is our go-to food option inside the park. The quality is pretty good but the prices are high, and what would be an average restaurant on the outside is practically fine dining inside Legoland. I got the $11.25 steak sandwich which was basically a Philly Cheesesteak. It was surprisingly tasty, with a good bun, chips and pickle. The $8 kids meals were all natural peanut butter & Carlsbad strawberry spread (no joke - that's what the sign said, and yes, we had one of these), hot dog (we had one of these too) or chicken tenders, with chips (Cheetos, sun chips, pretzels etc), a drink-box and a piece of fruit (apple or raisins). There weren't many other options I was interested in for adults, but those that I saw included a salad bar, a spicy shrimp linguine, a chicken stir fry and ice cream. My wife ended up getting some food at one of the other restaurants nearby. I have to ask - what is the deal with all the industrial sized SYSCO cans decorating the restaurant? Unless there is some sort of a sponsorship deal with SYSCO, the industrial food supplier, I'm not sure that is a brand that makes you feel good about an $8 peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Odd.

We ordered the crab cakes, spicy N'duja and shrimp rigatoni, and fresh catch tacos. Everything had good flavoring and the portions were more than reasonable. We also felt the prices were reasonable considering the location, quality of the food, high-level service, and beautiful relaxing ambiance. We eat out often but don't really leave reviews. But our experience at 20 | Twenty was definitely worth mentioning. We will return and try other items next time in the area and will be sure to tell others about it! Thanks for a very very pleasant surprise!!

Also the atmosphere of the food hall was chaotic and noisy with kids running all over the place. Seating was first come first serve and the place was packed so we had to circle around a couple of times before finding a table that was just vacated. The one positive was the people working the hall and clearing the tables were helpful and friendly. Honestly, do yourself a favor and skip this place and go further south on Paseo Norte Rd to the Green Dragon Tavern just on the other side of Palomar Airport Rd. The food was so much better and the atmosphere of the place was so relaxing and made the entire dining experience so pleasant.

It was easy peasy. It's located in the beautiful Bressi ranch area. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and the restaurant is loungey and cozy at the same time. Not too loungey to be kid inappropriate and not too cozy either. Celebrated a birthday dinner and was happy to see they offered delicious desserts such as the peanut butter cake which was the fav of the table. They have an extensive but not overwhelming menu. They do have plenty of drink offerings including mocktails, whiskey , soda, and wine. Love the variety of burgers they have. We ordered different types and were able to cut into quarters to share. The fav of the table was the fig but I still root and hold it down for the bacon jalapeño. I love the mixture of sweet and savory. Appetizers that were delicious include the Korean frachos and Brussel sprouts. I honestly couldn't believe we'd found a spot like that so close to our hotel. So good that we went there BOTH nights around 9 or 10pm when we were in town. I don't really enjoy regular bar drinks and wasn't that excited to go to Eureka until I sat down and looked at the drink menu. This is my kind of place....plus the food (appetizers & desserts) were great too. Items we tried were fried pickles, onion rings, dry-rub wings, cheesecake, turtle pie and carrot cake. The fried pickles were probably the best I've had. Crisp and delicious batter. The Eureka dry rub is definitely the way to go. I still crave them! Desserts were great too but I was buzzed eating them back at the hotel so you know..... Drinks we tried: Pineapple Tequila Sour, Headhunter King and Wild Child. The first night I ordered and LOVED the Pineapple Tequila Sour and my husband ordered the Headhunter King which he didn't like at all so guess what? I drank it and enjoyed it and he had a spiced rum and coke. LOL The second night I had a couple of Wild Childs. OMG, they are amazing. I wish I could find that drink here in Tucson. My boring husband had more rum & cokes, The environment at Eureka is great. We did sit at the bar both nights and that bar is hoppin'! I like that there is so much outdoor space too which allows families to enjoy themselves and let the kids have room to have fun. Eureka is a great spot and I highly recommend it. For our first appetizer-type courses, we ordered sliced sourdough with butter and roasted cabbage - both great options. The roasted cabbage ended up being my favorite part of the dinner. It was like a Caesar salad on a juicy, tender cabbage spear with a slight char. I felt like I definitely needed to order some bread to try some element of the bakery. We got another taste of the bakery because we also ordered pizza from the kids menu. I snuck a piece and that was great. We ordered two main courses: one pasta dish and the other was a braised rabbit with morels. The pasta dish was fine but my wife and I weren't planning to share it. We had to share it because the rabbit dish took so long that I had to cancel the order. It was unfortunate because I was really looking forward to that. That was one inconvenience. The other hiccup was they didn't have any beer available because of a cooler issue. They had really good beer on the menu too, so finding that out after I ordered was a let down. I entertained ordering wine or a cocktail afterward, but passed. We were sitting by the bar and the cocktails they were making looked really good. With those issues, the manager spoke with us and sent us home with a slice of lemon meringue pie to rectify. We appreciated the gesture and the service we had all night was good. I'm sure this place gets 5/5 stars most nights. It's a super cool place inside and out.

I was soooo excited about the Philly connection, as I'm very familiar with cheesesteaks having lived near Philly in a past life. Well, I was sorely disappointed. We were told that the bread is flown in daily from Philly. Well, I don't know where it's coming from because it's definitely not the same bread as what they normally use there. The sandwich and meat were dry and flavorless. Totally underwhelming unfortunately. So then we saw that they made key lime pie there too! Again, I was SUPER excited because key lime pie is my favorite dessert of all time. And again...disappointment. I took one glance and saw that it was light green in color and knew I was gonna be mad. Yall, Key lime pie is yellow. You should NEVER add food coloring. That's just gross and inaccurate. The texture and flavor were also off. Texturally it was way too thick and dense, which would have been fine if it actually tasted like key lime. But it was severely lacking in that tart key lime flavor that it's known for. I'd definitely go back because of the service and vibe. But I'll maybe try a burger and the cheesecake instead.
