Pizza

Pizza was burned hence them saying their pizzas crispy. The dough was meh and I couldn't finish the crust as it was hard and dry. Slices are 5.00 ( I know the overhead is high) They have been open a few months and the windows are decorated with signs that read open for 50 years. I'll find another spot like Pugsley or go across town to Louie and Ernie's. They close early Rest in Peace Full Moon Pizza Good luck to Mezze Luna

New name, same Arthur Ave vibes -- Mezza Luna Pizza holding it down on the corner

Grabbed a couple slices at Mezza Luna Pizza on Arthur Ave -- broccoli rabe & sausage, and a loaded pepperoni/peppers/sausage/mushroom slice. Both were fresh, flavorful, and the crust was perfect. Fast service, no fuss, and some outdoor seating if you want to hang out. Solid stop for a slice in the Bronx.

Very busy local places, fast service as all the staff hustles to make your food order quickly.

I was starving and wanted to hit up Arthur Avenue. This place was recommended by the infatuation and since it had a high yelp rating I checked it out. It was just the thing I needed. YUM!

Lasagna in the garbage
Atosha C.

Asked for 1 Cheese, 1 Califlower and 1 Pepperoni and received 2 Cheeses and 1 Pepperoni. All were Meh. The Lasagna I ordered had a grainy texture to the ground beef and though at first bite, the sauce is okay, you get a weird after taste. All went in the trash. A complete Tourist Trap, locals beware. In all the times-years, going to Arthur Avenue, this was my first time there. Don't waste your time and another thing, this was friend recommended because it seems nobody can make a good Lasagna to save their life. Why can't I find good, authentically seasoned Lasagna anywhere in Manhattan or The Bronx?

My SO and I stopped in on a whim while looking for a place to eat in the area. The staff here are quick and efficient, bustling through orders to keep things moving. I was pleased to see gluten-free options and enjoyed a white pie with mushrooms--the seasoning and preparation were great. It took quite some time for the pizza to come out, which was my only issue. My SO loved the massive and tasty individual slices. My only wish is for more seasoning options to be easily accessible, as they're kept behind the counter where the line forms. Overall, a solid spot for a quick and tasty bite.

Chicken parm hero w pink sauce

New owner is a good guy. He takes care of his customers. Hard working. Pizza was delish large and crispy. I also ordered a chicken parm hero. It came w a pink sauce. The hero was also good. I've been coming here since inception when Stan owned the spot. Looks like he sold ? I heard he opened a full moon in Bronxville. I would recommend mezza Luna. Enjoy

Was so happy to find this Arthur Ave gem! Was in town and was craving a real NY slice and pie. This did not disappoint! I ordered ahead and it was ready right away. Everyone was super friendly and even though it was an off hour (3 pm) it was crowded. So glad to have found this place and will definitely be back the next time we find ourselves in the Bronx.

Ordered eggplant slice - delicious, satisfying and crispy! I loved this pizza, and staff is friendly. Also ordered garlic knots - omg! They were excellent! Thx you and will be back!

BBQ pork slice

If you're going to the Bronx, you gotta go to Arthur Ave. If you've going to Arthur Ave and want slices, this is the place. The slices are huge, chewy and crisp dough, well seasoned and lots of toppings. Had the BBQ pork slice and the chicken parm slice. Both excellent. Also had a potato croquette which was huge, size of a baked potato - excellent seasoning, good amount of cheese. Staff was awesome, friendly to us tourist types, helpful and very fast.

Pep and Marg...HUGE and delicious... Marg was SO FRESH!

Amazing! Service, price, taste.... all of it! Even my wife loved it and she hates pizza. Definitely the pizza we were looking for when we came to NYC. Everything else we tried until this point had been greasy, too much dough, too much sauce, no flavor... but this was the real deal! Little Italy in the Bronx did not dissapoint! Not to mention the selection of slices and other items far exceed the other places we went! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Solid pizza place on Arthur Ave. Quick service and lots of seating. A little pricey if you go single slice.

Once alerted that my order was ready, I pulled up and grabbed a metered spot right in front. As I entered, the shop it was empty but the staff was busy working on online orders in the open kitchen. Seating is available at a couple tables and counter top. I grabbed a seat as I waited because my order wasn't actually complete. Staff was pleasant but clearly behind on orders. Once completed I grabbed my order and headed out. I went with the #5. Breezin- strawberry, pineapple, peach, w/ orange juice base and I added banana. Overall a local spot offering healthy options on the go. Just A Note: They are on Uber Eats but they also offer online ordering and you can get 15% off your first order when ordering directly from them.

For drinks, I had the Legally Blonde with oranges, lemon, pineapple, and ginger root. It tasted healthy and not too sweet. I personally wished I tasted more ginger in it. She had the Crush with apple, lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, and a ginger shot. Hers had the ginger and flavors mine was lacking. I went with the Captain Jack wrap with an impossible burger as the protein, vegan mozzarella, sweet potato french fries, lettuce, and bbq sauce. This wrap blew my mind. As soon as I pulled it apart the cheese just stretched across both wraps. The i.possi ke burger and sweet potato fries blended beautifully, and it had just the right amount bbq sauce to not feel over-saturated. I highly recommend it.

Try: Chicken & Pancakes, Corned Beef Hash, and Chicken Noodle Soup!…read more Why: Took my parents to an early brunch and we enjoyed Chicken & Pancakes, Corned Beef Hash, and Chicken Noodle Soup! They were able to sub the waffles for pancakes, which was a huge stack of 3 fluffy pancakes topped with juicy fried chicken and maple syrup. Very filling and easily shareable. My dad got the Corned Beef Hash with eggs sunny side up. It also came with lots of sliced potatoes, which had slightly crispy edges. We dipped them in genie house sauce that was flavorful. Mom was craving soup to settle her tummy and she really liked the broth of Chicken Noodle Soup. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I washed down my food with mimosas that was nicely filled to the brim. Notes: Hostess and Waiter were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Waiter gave good recs too and kept the mimosa flowing. Clean spacious diner with large booths and table inside, and outside seating. We came at 11am before the brunch crowd so restaurant was about 1/2 capacity, by the time we left it was packed. Lots of families and strollers. We had a corner booth near front window, great location for people watching while enjoying a meal. Overall, good service, good brunch atmosphere, and good food.

We believe that good food starts with good choices, which is why we partner with local farmers and suppliers to bring you the finest, freshest produce and proteins. Our menu is a reflection of our dedication to a healthier lifestyle without compromising on flavor.' Green Kitchen is living up to its philosophy by offering healthy grains, salads, soups and a wealth of options. Rochelle and I met up for lunch and dined Al fresco. The menu offers really tantalizing options: burgers, pancake options, salads, etc. Rochelle has been on an Eggs Benedict kick and that was her choice. I ordered an egg white spinach mozzarella omelette. There are options such as home fries, French fries or salad as sides to accompany the entree. We both chose home fries and whole wheat toast for my omelette. Rochelle ordered a regular iced coffee took one sip then one sip of my iced cappuccino and decided my cap was better. Here's how our entrees tasted: -Eggs Benedict: Two poached eggs on an english muffin with canadian bacon and avocado, topped with chipotle hollandaise sauce. I tasted the avocado and it was creamy and fresh. Rochelle enjoyed her meal immensely. -Egg White Omelette with spinach and mozzarella is made with three eggs, side of whole wheat toast and delicious home fries. The portion is generous and filling. This is part of build your own omelette on menu. -Iced Cappuccino: cream, dreamy and frothy, tbh, no added sweetener needed. -Service: courteous although I asked for iced water with lemon and received just water. Green Kitchen is a fine place for any meal; breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. There is a Happy Hour weekdays from 11am-7pm. GK is a five star experience, however, loss of one star is the attention to details: we wanted to pay in cash but needed change from a big bill. The server took the bill and some confusion later " the bill you handed is not enough to pay the bill.." Okey dokey. GK is definitely a nice post shopping ( Bloomingdales), gym or meet up for a meal. Rabbo had a nice acidic savory sweet flavor, not the typical latin tomato paste style. Definitely shareable for 2 for moderate eaters. Pizza: the small version looks like a personal pan but enough for 2, maybe 3. Now PRICE: Its tough because its about ingredients vs quantity. For 2 orders of meals may seem like borderline liitle over priced but post eating, i was content with how the pizza and entree had many ingredients. And my family of 3 was SUPER content.
