I like this place due to the plethora of healthy juice choices they have on the menu. However, I was disappointed to see some of their beet chunks partially moldy. I didn't make a scene, I was graceful to quietly inform the guy that was making my Juice that some beets in the container was moldy--he then referred me to talk to the manager (took me by surprise because he should immediately discard some of the moldy ones without the managers approval, or maybe he didn't take the New York food protection course smh). Anyway, I hope they take it seriously and inspect their fruits and veggies every once in a while because people's health and stomach is nothing to play with. Service: know what you want and come in ready. Not too big on customer service here, Ie no southern hospitality. Very NYC/Bronx meaning don't expect them to give you suggestions, etc. Food: they have every fresh veggie and fruit option and protein and milk/liquid options for drinks, smoothies and salads that you can imagine. They also have hot sandwiches, quesadillas and great breakfast options. All in one very small kitchen/storefront. As soon as you enter, the staff exhibited friendly and professional behavior. I had a few questions on some of the items from the menu and the staff took care of them with ease. The gentleman even offered some samples, which is always helpful. He recommended some of the popular choices but also stated that the ingredients can be interchangeable. I've enjoyed many times coming here during the week. Smoothies are great. Just on weekends the person making smoothies/juices has an attitude. I asked if he cannot add pineapple. He told me that what is on the menu is how it comes. FYI I'm allergic to pineapple. Also the woman that works cashier is always having some sort of attitude. Overall the place is nice and clean. First time I order the delivery man told me to order from Uber eats because it was too far from him. Excuse me!!!! Absolutely not. Second time I ordered they forgot my dressing. A coworker of mine recommended this place and so I had to try. They have everything from smoothies to salads and they all looked freshed. You can get all the salads chopped too which I had no idea what that meant until coming here. This is a perfect place to go if you are watching your figure. There were a bunch of different vegetable options for the salads. They also have different bases as well (arugula, mixed green, romaine). I put a whole bunch of random stuff in my salad. I also got it chopped which helped combine everything. The salad wasnt overdressed which I liked. The flavor was good but not groundbreaking. Idk if it was the freshness or the fact that the veggies are pre-cut and sitting there. Overall it was a solid place. A negative is that the Bathroom needs a good cleaning. OK, after an extremely indulgent birthday weekend I am now back on the juice wagonAnd I missed the opportunity to go to my favorite place in Brooklyn... And boy am I glad I found this place! First of all, everything looks so fresh and delicious. They have a huge salad bar (where you can add even shrimp if you like). They also have a huge fruit salad bar as well that looks great! I got the green juice which is the standard one (kale, spinach, celery,apple,cucumber, ginger) and it was delicious. Their recipe has pineapple as well but I did not get that added to mine. They didn't add a ton of apple juice to bulk it up either. They used a lot of greens. And the kale was not bitter. I am so glad I found this little gem! Really disappointed, I eat here at least 3x a week. Today unfortunately i bit into my chicken pesto panini and ended up cracking my tooth on this glass shard. I called up and all they did was offer me. A 9.50 credit for a future purchase. Really disgusted with the lack of customer service and overall concern for the customer. They put me on hold for 5 mjns and when they unmuted me I heard laughing , I was in utter disbelief . I will never be eating here again and will be reporting them to department of health. Today we were spoken to as if we were a nuisance all after my husband asked the guy preparing smoothies ( green eyed guy) with bananas to consider between green and ripe... His verbatim response was "I am not here to talk, let me work." I didn't quite understand why the particular response when it was genuine and respectful? This is our last time ever visiting fresh and healthy since he embarrassed us in front of other customers. See the part that baffles me is that he had all the time in the world to answer my questions when I spoke to him in Spanish yet my husband asked him a question in English and he rudely dismissed him over a banana? I'm not sure if the hours of operation listed here are correct. I went there today at 9 pm and they were still making juices and even doing deliveries. It was my first time there and I was greeted promptly and with a friendly demeanor, despite my late entrance. I ordered a large orange and carrot juice that was actually really good. I absolutely love this place. The food and drinks are phenomenal and I never had a customer service issue. I purchase from here very often but for some reason they almost always manage to overcharge me. Please pay attention to prices posted in comparison to what you are being charged. On your receipt, it will just display "manual transaction" instead of a description of what you ordered and a listed price. When you question it, they will just say it's the tax. If I has the option to give no stars, I would. I am disappointed in the lack of service provider at the 187th Healthy Fresh location. I am well aware that we're in a pandemic but is the WORST online delivery service EVER. After waiting over 2 hours for this location to deliver my order I called to check the status of the delivery. The woman who answered the phone told me my order was out for delivery. I waited 30 minutes and called again and was told she is going to call the driver and call me back in 5 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and didn't receive a call back. I called back and when as redirected to a man who told me my order was not for this location. After providing the worker with my order number (which I asked him to using to find my order on the first place), he was able to pull up me order in the queue and asked me to wait an additional 30- 45 minutes. I declined that option and asked for a refund. At that point he told me I'd have to contact the company. I am very dissatisfied with how my issue was handled. This is not my first time ordering from this restaurant (before and during the current crisis) but it will be my last. read more

Worse place ever. The cashier this past Sunday, June 2nd around 11am was horrible and rude. No one wears hair nets and only one employee had on gloves. The cashier charged me for an egg, spinach, and cheddar cheese omelette with a small coffee while having a personal conversation with other staff members. During her personal conversation, the elderly gentleman next to me was trying to get her attention for over 5 minutes. I sat down and after waiting for over 25 minutes, I leave my table and go to check on my food. That's when I realized it was packed in a "to-go" bag when I wanted to sit and eat (informed cashier during payment). When I said, "I'm sorry, it was supposed to be to stay," she rudely threw my bag onto the counter to transfer it to plates. I told her to forget it because if she treated my bag that way, I didn't want to turn my back while she transferred the food. I sit down with my meal, took about three bites when my friend saw a long black hair, cooked within the eggs and spinach in my food. Before I could take another bite, my friend grabs my plate and heads to the cashier to inform her of the hair. My friend says she tried to whisper about the hair but the cashier responded rudely asking "WHERE?" At that point that's when my friend increased her volume and said "THERE'S A HAIR RIGHT THERE". The cashier said she could make another but my friend asked for my money back...the cashier rudely stated that she would need my credit card to process the refund when the gentleman behind the counter then cuts the cashier off and says "just give her a cash refund". We exit and my friend tells me what happened at the register. Long behold, the cashier never even served my coffee and didn't refund me the coffee either. She's rude and disgusting and should be fired ASAP read more
