Please put this on the drink menu!

Nothing but positive things to say about this establishment. Been a bunch of times. Great food, great drinks (Happy hour is from 11am-7 ). It does get crowded because it is a VERY popular spot. They have indoor & outdoor seating, good music and great staff. I would love to see them put the hibiscus margarita on the menu permanently. Its really really good. I will be back.

Fresh Fruit French Toast and Nutella Waffle... missing is a fresh squeezed OJ, a Tropicana smoothie, and a cold brew - all delicious!

Very cute corner spot with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu is large for any meal, with very fresh, great options! We had a late breakfast and everything was fantastic! We'll definitely return when we're in the city again.

I met up with local family that told us this place was kid friendly sit down after a long day at Central Park. It was more than welcoming to my kids and had so much available on the menu. It was really something for everyone. I also loved the green concept being in the middle on a concrete city. It was very refreshing and welcoming. With so much on the menu I really wasn't expecting much flavor wise, but everything was delicious. My kids pancakes were so fluffy and chocolatey, the mozzarella sticks came with a vodka sauce that made it different than the usual kind you get, and my chicken was flavorful. But the one that blew my mind was the watermelon salad. It was so refreshing and flavorful. I would order that over and over again. Next time I'm in New York I will definitely keep this place in mind. It was great!

Spacious, with large menu and a grwat neighborhood atmosphere. We stopped in for an mid day cocktail which was excellent- passion fruit margaritas. We ordered some fries just not to be wobbly and we did have late lunch plans elsewhere. Our server Nrian was very sweet and attentive , There's a big bar area if you dont want to sit at tables and also outdoor seating. Great for large groups with menu including breakto dinner.

GK is a fun active brunch spot. Spacious but gets busy. Great for small or large groups, huge outdoor dining space too is great! The service was ok, I feel like I waited a bit longer than I should have for my spritz. Nonetheless, serve Nick was attentive and overall timely with getting our meals to us in a timely manner. Lively buzzing crowd, fresh greenery decor all through. I have plans to go again. Lastly, the food was delicious!

Came in for brunch, great place with a lot of options. Food portion was pretty big. Daquiri was good but I wish it came in a bigger glass. Iced coffee was good. Food came out pretty fast. Great ambiance great service.

Bland chicken salad sandwich with an overload of lettuce and barely any tomato. Boo!

With what I think are identical menus, I'd rather go to Green Kitchen on E. 84th. The uptown branch has comfortable booths, more conducive to conversation. 70th Street does not, and with bad acoustics I could barely hear my friend talk. And she was sitting next to me! I was unable to capture my favorite component of dinner: avgolemono soup. (Photography is not my forte.) The soup was rich and lemony, just as I like it. The difference between a cup and bowl is only $2, so if you're a soup-person it makes sense to get the large and bring home what you don't finish. I paired my soup with a chicken salad sandwich, a measly 2 stars. It was bland and mushy. (My husband will be getting the half I didn't eat for dinner tonight!) His order, a Tijuana chicken sandwich, was a better choice. It was piled with bacon, pepper jack cheese, red onions and guacamole. My friend awarded her turkey burger four stars. It looked good, not as dry as turkey burgers tend to be. Green Kitchen does a great job with fries. The fries T and I shared were crisp and salty. (I took way more off his plate than I planned.) R's sweet potato fries were equally good. Our waitress -- whose name I didn't catch -- was terrific. Sweet and attentive without being annoying. Actually we liked everyone who came to our table. Green Kitchen has been in business since the 1930s. I'd consider it a hybrid of a diner and restaurant. They may take reservations, but we never make them. The menu is extensive enough that you'll inevitably find something that suits you. (Just don't get chicken salad.)

Delicious food, nice staff, and good drinks. The hibiscus margarita was meant to be spicy but wasn't. It was still good, though. Really enjoyed the turkey burger and the people I came with got Cobb salads with salmon. Wish I got a photo of the food. Definitely recommend a reservation for weekend brunch as it gets busy. The outdoor seating is nice and comfortable. Saw several cute pups out there as well!

This diner was perfect for the break we needed. We only ordered a couple of drinks and the chips and guac. I would come here to grab a drink but we really came to grab a bite to eat. We were sat right away and the service was excellent.

Excellent and elevated diner! The service is so friendly (even despite being busy and crowded) and the burrito bowl was really good. They also serve drinks which is a great bonus. I really enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming back.

Crazy busy Saturday around noon but the turnaround is very quick. We went with the breakfast burritos and corned beef hash. Everything tasty great lotsa meat in the burritos and the hash breakfast was huge. Service was quick and prompt. I didn't realize that there are multiple Green kitchens in the neighborhood but would definitely go back.

Disappointed, I ordered the chicken salad to go because I saw how amazing it looked online. I ordered grilled chicken instead of crispy & apparently you get the garlic bread only if you order the crispy chicken salad. Wish the menu stated this. I was very disappointed when I opened my salad since basically it was $25 for a basic cesar salad.

I walked in with my friend on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately. Service was a little slow - they were very busy. But our drinks took awhile to get. We got: - Chipotle chicken panini with fries ($24): I really enjoyed this! The fries were the exact crispiness I wanted. The sandwich is huge so I only had half. It's not really a panini because it was stuffed and not flat. - lychee martini - margarita - chicken Marsala: my friend enjoyed this! It came with a side of pasta (which I had a bite of and enjoyed)

This way, anyone who disagrees with me is really disagreeing with Big Tony. It's a great way to grab the head-turning polarization of a hot take, but without any of the personal responsibility. A way to say something controversial without saying anything at all. A genius chess move to be sure, but complete and utter RAT behavior. I say this, my dear reader, as a reformed rat. All this to say, I recently moved to the UES and have been desperately trying to prove Big Tony wrong. One of my big bros recommended Chamoun's way, saying it's one of his favorite takeout spots in the city. I've been desperate for a decent, non-slop bowl takeout restaurant up here so I went the next day. I walked into a clean hole in the wall, and was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices on the menu, but ended up going with the Chamoun's healthy bowl ($14.99) and some grape leaves. After 1 bite my faith in the good lord, and in the Upper East Side, were restored. The chicken and rice were both phenomenal, but the veggies were really what showed out. The turnip pickles and jalapeno peppers were clearly fresh, which leads me to believe everything coming out of here is fresh. It felt like I was eating the home cooked meal of someone's Lebanese granny. The grape leaves were also clearly just wrapped, as the rice inside was warm with the leaf being room temp. You gotta respect this attention to detail. I've already been back a few times since, and it is my new goto takeout spot in all of NYC. I'll probably get it again tonight. She always gets a falafel wrap, "their way", and I always get the beef shawarma rice bowl with extra garlic dip. The food is ok. It doesn't blow you away, but it is authentic Lebanese. That being said, I don't even care what the food tastes like because the servers are SO nice! When I bring my kids, they always leave with some free french fries. If I show up after the lunch rush, the owner is always around and asks me how I'm doing. When I get up after eating and start cleaning my table, the owner always just shows up behind me and amicably tells me to leave, and he will clean the table himself. You will always be greeted with a smile here, treated respectfully, and leave well-nourished. I wish nothing but success for this place!

This is not a combination I usually see in smoothie shops but it sounded very refreshing. I appreciated the default addition of pea protein to make it more filling. The banana makes it creamy while the chia seeds help to thicken the drink. The mint taste is subtle but not overpowering. - banana bread (9/10): buckwheat banana bread sweetened with maple syrup with pops of crunchy millet. This slice is very soft and moist. It has a richness from the almond flour and banana yet does not make you feel heavy. The cinnamon and vanilla and a slight hint of spice to offset the sweet banana and maple. The only thing that would take this over the edge is adding in chocolate chips or walnuts. - happy muffin (8/10): avocado muffin with cacao nibs and a dollop of cashew cream. If you are hesitant to try this because of avocado in a baked good, don't be. The avocado does not add a strong flavor but rather a satisfying moist and slightly oily texture. The main flavors I got were chocolate from the cacao nibs and nuttiness from the almond flour base. - chocolate is righteous bar (9/10): this chocolate peanut butter bar is a chocolate lover's dream. It is a solid hunk of rich dark chocolate that has a satisfying melt as soon as you take a bite. The addition of pea protein makes it more satiating while also adding a thicker texture than your typical chocolate bar. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes!
