Got takeout and picked up my order for lunch. The herb omelette was so yummy. And even though I don't like kugel that much the potato kugel was delicious would definitely eat that again. Unfortunately the pancakes were not good at all. They had too much baking soda/powder and had a very unpleasant aftertaste. Ambiance inside looked nice and people were friendly. Wish the pancakes didn't disappoint.

BACO Omelet. With bacon, avocado, onions and cheese. Comes with bread and a round hash brown potato.

Enjoyed breakfast there at 9AM on a Friday. A quiet spot with good service and both indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the decaf coffee and the way they make their omelets.

Loved this place! I got the "Kitchen Sink" eggs, cheddar, bacon, potato pancake on a brioche bun! Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Eggs were fluffy! Bacon was crispy and just enough cheese. The brioche bun was amazing, Came with a side salad...this was not just a salad, with all the fixings, not sure what they put on for dressing but it was a damned good proper salad, hate when I get a breakfast sandwich and the eggs are cooked to hell and dry, NOT this place. Kenneth was so nice and attentive. I asked for the potato cake to be put to the side, a fancy hash brown it was so good! Alcohol menu prices are for all day! Place is nice and clean and relaxing vibe. Will be back!

Great brunch spot in UWS. Service was friendly and attentive. The waiter had great recommendations. The eggs with lox were excellent - cooked perfectly. It's a small space - recommend coming early or with a smaller group.

My sandwich totally hit the spot! Everything tasted fresh, it was a good size and the combination of flavors was great. Our server was attentive and took care of us. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but for a lowkey catch up with a friend brunch, this spot is fantastic!

Best brunch spot near Central Park--hands down! The restaurant was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident, right down to serving my favorite sparkling Saratoga water. Our waiter, Clint, was exceptional--kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. As for the food, it was phenomenal! The eggs, potatoes, and bacon were perfectly cooked, and the chicken soup was a standout. One of the best brunches I've ever had. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Amazing service, delicious food, and a clean, inviting atmosphere--what more could you ask for?

Scrambled eggs with lox, scallions and cream cheese. Served with both toast and a potato pancake.

Love Brunch! This neighborhood eatery is a welcomed addition to the UWS neighborhood. The food is consistently yummy, great value and the staff is very pleasant. A Happy Hour has been added so check out the days and times!

Food was yummy and healthy! Enjoyed my bagel and Lox. My friends enjoyed their applewood bacon! The service was a tad slow, waitress forgot the refill waters, but the staff was kind overall! Cute little place! Would eat here again!

We loved brunch at Brunch. Before going to see the play Purpose on Broadway, we stopped for a bite. We loved the quaint establishment and the food was excellent!

This place opened a couple months ago and it is great! They have a nice bright interior and super friendly servers. The food was fresh and done well and they are very flexible with additions or substitutions. I would recommend if you're looking for a good breakfast/brunch in the upper west side!

    The Baco omelette.

I visited and reviewed last year and went back this year. It is still the best breakfast I've ever had in the city. The service is great; we never felt rushed and if you sit outside on a cool morning the ambiance is perfect upper west side. Inside is great if the weather is unfriendly. This is always my favorite for breakfast or lunch.

The deluxe pho had all the meat fixings with homemade beef meatballs, thinly sliced sirloin, and pull apart brisket. The noodles and toppings were standard. Overall perfect soup for a chilly rainy day. I only had some bites of the chicken pho but it tasted clean and soothing. The wings in their "pho" sauce were crispy but a little on the saltier side. Almost reminiscent of Korean fried chicken. Service: It was decent. Ambiance: Generally modern decor. This sandwich has --- lemme see: "Thinly Sliced Steak Seasoned In Homemade Chimichurri With Caramelized Onions Topped With Extra Chimichurri". I MEAN. This was a grown-up, bougie, international millennial sandwich of the 2020's. This hit and THEN SOME. Totally recommend. To accompany, I ordered some tater-tots; nothing to write home about, but they complimented the sandwich very well. I am a sucker for a good steak + chimichurri combo, and this sandwich hit.the.spot. The inside of the restaurant is decent. Luckily, I ate at the window-side, but since it is a very popular business (from what I can tell), seating is very limited. It's a very limited space; I do see many people picking up "to-go orders". However, if you get the chance to dine-in...DO IT. Someone order a Hot Italian? Here I am…read more The legendary Florentine sandwich shop achieved global fame by earning some of the highest praise in food journalism for its massive, fresh-baked schiacciata sandwiches. Google their name and "best" and get hundreds of hits, but the majors who crowned them "best sandwich" title include Saveur Magazine, the big one touted by the family; Eater NY, ranking La Paradiso the most elite Italian sandwich outside of Italy; Las Vegas Weekly, who crowned them "Home of the world's best sandwiches"; TripAdvisor, for whom the Italian original is the most reviewed eatery with a near perfect rating; and The Infatuation NYC guides who promise the execution of the crispy, airy schiacciata bread completely justifies the hype. All 17 options looked amazing, so I spoke to a regular in line, telling her I couldn't decide between "La Paradiso", the most praised (even though she informed me "mortadella is just bolonie" or the Hot Italian, which was more my style. So, I did what any gluttonous American would do and I got both. And a Diet Coke, of course. La Paradiso has thinly sliced bolonie for a savory base, with creamy shredded stacciatella cheese, with sweet but earthy pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of toasted pistachio for texture (that I didn't detect). It was good, but I will likely fuggedaboutit. The Hot Italian had thin, lean turkey, spicy and smoky spreadable Calabrian pork sausage, a balancing provolone, calabrian chili honey, and peppery arugula (that they claim adds crunch that I didn't detect). Were they life-changing? No. But I rank Paradiso a 8.8 and Hot Italian a 10. And because everyone is hard-working and everything is so freshly prepared and cut, it's a class act. They should seriously make a sign that says, "Can't decide? Get two!" and then give me free sandwiches on my yearly trips for the idea.

I ordered $200 worth of lox, bagels, and babka which was guaranteed to be there the next day (Sat), just in time for Father's Day. Sat rolls around, and there is no package even though it shows its in the process of being delivered on a UPS truck. Sunday rolls around, and the shipping says changes to Monday. I call on Sunday, speak to Michelle, and tell her my next day order didn't make it in time for Father's Day. She offers me a refund of the entire amount, or to reship the entire package. I choose the latter. She confirms and confirms next day shipping as well. The next day, I get my original package with spoiled lox in it. I throw away most of it and give the babkas I bought to mailman, since Zabars is sending me another package as agreed. But no, I get two voicemails. One saying my order has been delayed due to something being out of stock. Then I get another one, saying there was a misunderstanding, someone spoke to their manager, and only the lox will be delivered. What??? Although I understand that Zabars is not responsible for UPS's delivery fiascos, you can't just say you will deliver the entire order again, and then renege and say only part of it will be delivered. My Father's Day was ruined, and then Zabars offered to send THE WHOLE ORDER to make it better. Just because the UPS guy delivered my products eventually, they were still not delivered until 3 days later. I am truly disappointed in Zabars and especially since the manager lied and said that I had a misunderstanding that the entire order would be reshipped and the woman had originally said only the lox would be. Nope- I have her on voicemail apologizing for sending ONLY the lox. This is a bad way to do business. I am 100% sure they claimed the shipping damages from UPS also, what a scam. 0 stars for absolutely crap customer service, lies, and not delivering on their promises.
