Friendly service, there is a bathroom, extensive menu. Seats on the inside and outside.

Service is horrible! I very obviously ordered a lox omelette and they sent me three pieces of salmon in a container! When I called, the women who answered said I "was wrong" and denied any responsibility.

Heavenly pancakes with a side of egg whites. Iced coffee.

Great corned beef sandwich. Solid pizza, solid black & white cookie. Nice staff. Basic New York deli fare done well.

NAR is the kind of New York restaurant that immediately feels special--stylish, warm, and…read moreeffortlessly chic. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting and beautifully curated, with a lively energy that made the entire experience feel distinctly New York. The food was wonderful. The cheese board was an absolute standout, beautifully presented with a thoughtful selection of cheeses and accompaniments that balanced savory and sweet flavors perfectly. The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences throughout the meal felt fresh, authentic, and elevated. The hummus, tahini, olives, Turkish specialties, and beautifully arranged spreads were all delicious and clearly prepared with care. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we could simply enjoy the food and the company. NAR manages to combine beautiful design, wonderful food, and genuine hospitality in a way that feels sophisticated without being overly formal. It has that unmistakable New York energy--fashionable, vibrant, and memorable. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the incredible food, and absolutely do not miss the cheese board. NAR is a beautiful addition to New York's dining scene, and I'm already looking forward to returning.

Wow, I am bummed that I waited so long to come to NAR. I was talking to a Turkish friend at work…read moreawhile back and he recommended I try this place as we were discussing Turkish restaurants. I added to my list but didn't try it until this week and I was blown away! The restaurant is lovely and has a great vibe (although it is a little loud due to the low ceilings). Service was great reflecting exceptional Turkish hospitality. My friends and I started with small mezzes (all delicious) and zucchini blossoms, which I could have had as a standalone meal. I had the Turkish delight meat dish and that was super. My husband had the beyti and it was the best I've ever had. We all ate way too much and waddled out of there way too full. Prices are about what you'd expect in that part of town and it's worth every penny. I will definitely be back. I recommend that you go here too and am confident you'll find everything is cok guzel!

I had a party of 15 people (four of whom were children under the age of 10) for a special event…read morethat I had to schedule last minute. The staff was extremely helpful, created a menu for us to confirm, and had the entire thing set up and planned the night before within an hour of starting the process. On the day of the event, the food was a-MA-zing. Starting with a selection of jams, honey, hummus, and muhammara, there were toast points and pita for dipping and snacking. As that was being enjoyed, we were served falafel (so incredibly crunchy on the outside without being dry inside; beautifully fragrant and fluffy interior) with tahini based sauce, two different cheese plates, and pide. Just as my guests were starting to slow down, the platters of shakshouka, mascarpone scrambled eggs, and tiny pancake bites with fruit came out, capping a wonderful meal. Along with the turkish coffee, tea, and (STRONG) endless mimosas, this was an excellent meal and a special event that the staff executed wonderfully even with last minute prep time. 5/5 stars, no notes, rave review, would recommend, would go back again.

Ambiance/Atmosphere Came here for brunch with a friend on…read morethe Upper West Side, and the space set the tone right away. Warm, cozy, and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in and linger over the meal. Appetizers We started with a cheese flatbread, boat-shaped and blistered at the edges, the interior molten and gooey with a bright basil leaf on top. Simple but done really well, crisp crust giving way to all that warm cheese. Mains The brunch dishes were the highlight. A sizzling skillet of eggs cooked over spiced sausage came out rich and savory, the yolks just set, perfect for scooping up with the basket of warm bread on the side. The tomato-based baked eggs were equally good, a deep, well-seasoned sauce with a little heat and fresh herbs on top. Comforting, generous, and full of flavor. Drinks The blackberry mocktail was a standout, refreshing and beautifully garnished with a cluster of fresh blackberries. Always great to see a thoughtful non-alcoholic option that feels like more than an afterthought. Service Attentive and warm throughout. The team kept everything moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Verdict Five stars. Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and a mocktail worth ordering on its own. A fantastic UWS brunch spot that I'd happily return to.

I was married to a Turkish man at that time and this restaurant had his stamp of approval. The dish that stood out on the menu was the Manti, and I came back to the restaurant after recently moving back to NYC hoping to relive that good experience. I guess it was wishful thinking to believe that a restaurant wouldn't change during that amount of time. The evening started off with them serving us a glass of wine that had gone completely off, but that was quickly rectified. We ordered Manti, lahmajun and lamb köfte. The Manti came out with half yogurt and half tomato sauce. Since when has Manti ever been served this way? The yogurt sauce was watered down and devoid of any garlic flavor. The original dish had tons of garlic and only yogurt as the sauce. This version was tasteless. Also, the Manti were not cooked long enough and the dough was undercooked and chewy. The lahmajun did t have enough salt on it and was rather bland. The lamb köfte was underseasoned and under spiced and it didn't come with sauce and we had to ask for the yogurt sauce which arrived watered down and flavorless. We were provided with a basket of bread and pita. The bread was dry and tasted like it had been sitting around too long. The accompanying olive oil was diluted with vegetable oil and didn't taste at all like olive oil. Did they think people would not notice? I was really craving künefe for dessert but decided not to order it because I wasn't happy with any of the food we had ordered today so how could the dessert be any better? I'm never going back to this restaurant. The meal cost over $120 and we left utterly disappointed. The ambience was ok. It was better than the food lol.

The place wasn't busy during lunch time but busy during dinner time. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Lunch specials are $21.95 for 2 courses while dinner specials are $36.95 for 4 courses. I had the Eggplant with Tomato Sauce and Beets as the first course and Lamb Adana Kebab as Entrée. Lamb Adana Kebab comes with salad, which I can't have since it's cold and raw, but they were able to accommodate me and replaced salad with more rice. I had Kabak Tatlısı, which has a nice sweet taste and is healthy. All were delicious, also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Plus, the Turkish Tea as the fourth course was a great pair with my meals. Their menu offers a variety of choices, including options that are gluten free, dairy free, and soy free. I would definitely come back and suggest you give this place a try if you are in Hell's Kitchen or Columbus Circle.
