It's definitely a convenient spot no matter the time of day. The menu has a little bit of everything such as pastries, coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, soups and even gluten free options. They also serve beer and wine, which I wasn't expecting. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. The setup is mostly DIY since you throw away your own garbage and etc. But they do bring your food and drinks out to you. They also have a restroom for customers and a self serve tap water station with glasses, which I appreciated. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was alright, but I do think it could've used a little more flavor or seasoning.

BUT they closed the booth so I switched to H&C. It was more expensive and almost as good. Then I stopped eating beef. Recently I started making beef stew again. I got some grass fed at Whole Foods. It was okay but I wanted better. So I went back to H&C. It cost $14 a pound but that's food now. I noticed when I unwrapped the package that there was much darker meet in the middle of the bright red meat. Older? Hmmmm. So I made the stew. And the beef was like leather. I lost more calories chewing than I did consuming. Some of it was so inedible I tossed it. That was about 20%. As I said, the worst. I would have gone back to complain but the place is popular so I was seemingly in the minority and you know what goes with that dynamic. Naw I'm going back to WF or raising my own in my NYC apartment.
