1/2/26 around 3:30 I went to pick up my order. I had ordered a bagel and then separately I ordered an orange juice. After I picked up the bagel, I went to take the orange juice and they told me they didn't have that order. I showed them the receipt from DoorDash and they told me that I needed to call DoorDash because she didn't have the order. I told her I didn't need to do anything because I placed the order and I paid for it and here's the receipt. I took the orange juice and she goes "so you're just going to take it?" I told her yes I was because I paid for it. I've had poor service here before and I decided to give them a second chance. But they don't get a third chance and I will never be back here.

Wu + Nussbaum's Bagels - Egg, Salt and Pumpernickel Everything
    Mike R.

Wu + Nussbaum is one of my nearby "go-to" fresh bagel places to pick up for home, especially due to the sad shuttering of old school Absolute Bagels down the street. My preference is their regular Pumpernickel and Egg bagels! This time, out of Pumpernickel, tried Wu + Nussbaum's unusual Pumpernickel Everything, which for some reason has oats included in the "Everything." Also took a couple classic Salt. (Tasty, but I'll stick to my personal preference of just plain Pumpernickel next time and avoid the well-coated Salt.) While I've been cutting back on my sweets, was enticed by their muffins. Opted to try two of Wu + Nussbaum's varieties: Chocolate Cream Cheese and Peach Vanilla. My preference and reco - the chocolate, which was more like an extremely moist cupcake! The other was also nice, but more like a traditional muffin with a dollop of peach on top. Would certainly recommend Wu + Nussbaum's baked goods! Living close by, however, unlikely I'd ever try out their sandwiches. Also, haven't gone for any of their Chinese options, although there are too numerous worthwhile similar places with the same both nearby and elsewhere in Manhattan.

I loved this bagel and was sad when it was over. My fault really for eating it so quickly. I had an egg everything bagel with lox, egg, and cream cheese. Maybe it's a weird combination, but I like it. Needed some protein and carbs. Stopped by in the Am, was in and out in less than 10 minutes. It's dangerous for me that this place is a block from work more visits to be had for sure.

lunch bento box (shrimp/broccoli, wonton soup, pork dumplings)
    Michelle L.

Great dumplings! Horrible bagels. Would've given 4 stars if I didn't dislike the bagels. They are dry and honestly a shame to other bagels in NYC. Other food is great though! I love both their pork and veggie dumplings. The shrimp/broccoli in the bento box was fine, not super flavorful, but I'll take it. However, their crumb cake was delicious! Overall, I will still return for their dumplings while avoiding their bagels.

Egg and cheese on an egg bagel

Objective three stars but I am addicted to whitefish salad and drop $15 on it too often here, so spiritually four. The bagels themselves are okay, nice and dense and chewy, but not a crisp exterior. The sandwich architecture is variable. I can't speak to the Chinese food since I haven't had it except for one time when they wrongly gave me an order of noodles. I will say the food is not actually fusion, as is obvious when looking at the menu: they just happen to sell both Chinese dishes and bagels. Staff are efficient. Music is loud and when it's busy, even louder, so would recommend coming with a group or taking your order to go.

I used to come here back when it was Nussbaum and Wu. I remembered the amazing smoothies, the bagel sandwiches. I am glad it's reopened and slightly rebranded, and Asian food is on the menu!! Sad to see that the smoothie bar is no longer, but I'm glad smoothies are on the menu. I ordered the Mr. Berry and an egg bagel with egg and cheese. The smoothie was very watery and disappointing. By the end, it was clumpy; it seemed that the substance sank to the bottom. My egg bagel sandwich was okay! (I wish there was more cheese, but other than that it was great). I have not tried the Asian food menu items here, but maybe next time.

    Black/mocha cookie
    Austin K.

Yelp check-in of 10% off but I didn't see it until after. I only got the black/mocha cookie. I couldn't taste the icing flavors too much but the cookie itself was cakey and moist.

    Chicken Noodle Soup

Close to Columbia, this place serves up a wonderfully unique mix of Chinese and Jewish comfort food. The chicken noodle soup was the perfect prescription on a day when I dealing with an annoying cold. Lots of good stuff to see here!

    lox, egg, and onion bagel
    Jennie C.

be warned: the lox, egg, and onion bagel is basically an omelette pumpernickel is good here the staff lowkey look like they are bored as hell here!! but they are generally nice i like wu and nuss more than absoute bagels nearby for example bc there is more seating where you can chill while waiting for food also outdoor tables

    Mona A.

Wu Nussbaum is a fusion spot mixing Asian and deli-style food. The bagels are okay, the lox is pretty good. My usual order is an everything bagel with cream cheese and salmon, or sometimes a cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese. It's better to go early in the day--the quality drops a bit later on. I'm not a fan of their dumplings, but it's worth trying if you're into fusion food. I mostly stick to the bagels. In and out type of restaurant, more of a pick up destination!

Better bagels than Absolute Bagels in my opinion. Friendly staff and cheerful vibe. A great breakfast place.

    Pamela L.

Excellent service. Food came temperature hot. Best dumplings I had so far. Each dumpling had about a spoonful of broth. That's the way it should be. The noodles were delicious and had just the right flavors. This is a good place to grab a bite if you are in this area. It's right across the street from Columbia University and the subway station/bus stop that are within a few feet away

    Shrimp Classic Lo Mein Noodle
    Alice P.

My first time ordering from here based on my coworkers recommendation. I ordered the LoMein add shrimp. I have to admit that when my food arrived it didn't look appealing. It looked basic and bland. I quickly looked for the soy sauce and found there was none provided in my delivery. Ugh. No napkins either. Just chop sticks, which I eat with, but not everyone does so be aware. With my first taste I was able to honestly say they no additional flavouring was needed for me. The shrimp was fresh and the veggies too. It was much better than it looked and way too much food for me. I will have leftovers for tomorrow. I would definitely order again. FYI, my office mate ordered the meatless General Tso' chicken which she raves about. Give them a try!

This time we got the lox bagel with scallion lox cream cheese spread, bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel, and onion bagel with chipotle scallion cream cheese. The lox bagel had so much smoked salmon which was great. My favorite, however, is still the chipotle scallion cream cheese spread. By far my favorite and just getting cream cheese makes the bagel pretty cheap compared to those sandwiches. Strongly recommend!!

The bagel was nice and fresh. Doughy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I'm giving 4 stars because there was a bit too much cream cheese for my liking and I had to try to wipe some of it off. I ordered ahead on the Doordash app so it was ready when I arrived but there was no option to add a note for light cream cheese. I didn't spend too much time inside but I noticed there was plenty of seating. There were a ton of different spreads in the case and the menus on TV screens had a decent amount of options for salads, sandwiches, and breakfast platters. Plain Bagel with Cream Cheese: 4/5
