A Deli, with all the convenience items, sandwiches, meats, teas, and coffee! Little tins of candy and chocolate bars.....Great for a quick little stop... Hey wait... THERE ARE COOKIES!!!! By the door, there is a case full of the most wonderful assorted cookies. We came in out of the cold during the parade Balloon inflation, bought a sack of cookies, and we each enjoyed several with a cup of piping hot tea. Then we pack dup the rest of the cookies and enjoyed them for breakfast the next morning. Go in, get some cookies! You know you want to try them ALL!

Great neighborhood spot. Everyone is so friendly and food is good. This has become one of my go to spots and I have not been disappointed.

“I come to this little place quite often either for a quick bite to eat, milk when Duane Reade is sold out (which is always - I only go to DR because I like my $5 off when I spend 100!”

Last day in New York back the end of March, found us looking for a place to get warm and grab some…read morefood while doing our last exploring dash through Times Square. We ducked here to grab some nourishment before I became to hangry. Ordering takes place at the counter then grab a table. I had a 1/2 bowl of their "famous chicken soup" and 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Had good flavor and was enough to warm me up on this brisk morning. My niece did a bagel, and after trying all week she finally got one exactly how she wanted it made. We ate and chilled for a bit, no plans for the day other than making it to the airport to go home. Was able to people watch and catch up without feeling rushed to leave. Saw locals come through, so you know it is a place worth stopping. The staff were nice and even apologized for not being able to give me the soup I wanted in a half order. Though things can often get overlooked and passed by in the hustle and bustle of the city...stop in and relax while you grab a bite to eat.

Date of visit: April 14, 2026…read more Our friend wanted to go to a real New York deli during her first trip to the city and this is the one in the vicinity of Times Square and our evening show that was the highest rated according to my fellow Yelpers, but I am not quite sure why based on our experience. Things did start out great, with Boudjema being very friendly and helpful as we placed our order. And once we got seated, we were able to fully appreciate the vibe, both in the primarily 70s playlist, but also the mirror and brass touches across the restaurant. Food-wise, however, there were some definite opportunities. My Roasted Turkey sandwich did come on quite possibly the best rye bread I have ever had, warm and flavorful. But while the gravy was also good, the turkey was cold. This odd temperature mismatch made it hard to appreciate the generous portion of meat on the sandwich. We also ordered some tater tots and those were quite good. While it definitely could have been worse--and I've had worse in New York City--this also could have been so much better.

Delicious breakfast for three at 8:15 am on a Thursday before our half-day Experience NYC tour…read more The restaurant was a block from the Hilton Tempo hotel where we stayed. It is not the iconic Carnegie Deli, known for its huge corn beef and pastrami sandwiches. This place is known for its all day breakfast,, 24-layer Chocolate Cake, and massive milkshakes. Good food and drink menus and service. Our food came out quickly. Food was pricey, but it was well prepared, served in generous portions, and made with quality ingredients. Enjoyed by my daughter and granddaughter: Plain WAFFLE -- came with a fruit cup PANCAKES -- so fluffy and also came with a fruit cup Coffee I ordered the Pastami Egg Sandwich ($24.95) which was amazing! Quarter pound of lean delicious waygu pastrami Two sunny side up eggs cooked perfectly Flavorful Hash Browns Small salad Excellent Cole Slaw Sauerkraut Half pickle Cloth tablecloths and napkins were appropriate for food quality. Tables were spaced close together and the loud group next to our table was a distraction. An experienced, knowledgeable server with a pleasant manner is appreciated.

It's a huge space so there's plenty of room to come, especially if you have a big group. As for the food, it's fine but nothing to rave about. I had the eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were cooked all the way through and the hashbrowns were undercooked. Our waitress could not have been kinder though. Line for the restroom was forever! Four bathrooms and one was out of order.
