This place is amazing! The bagels are giant and delicious. They have a really cool display of various cream cheese flavors along with a few different types of smoked salmon that I had never seen before. The customer service was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

    So many choices!

Bagel dreams come true here. Great bagels with so many creative cream cheeses to choose from. Good texture. Fast service. Clean environment. Can't go wrong.

Honestly I loved my sandwich here and was pleasantly surprised. This is my new go to lox bagel sandwich spot for lunch during the work week. Ingredients are fresh and the texture of the bagel was good. Also the everything bagel seasoning was heavy on garlic which I absolutely loved and made this one a standout. The ratio of the toppings to salmon was also perfect. My only complaint is that the general service during lunch hour seems a bit disorganized from a getting your order perspective. The woman taking orders was great. Also wish my bagel was toasted more.

My friend and I stopped in here by chance. The cafe we initially were gonna go to was packed and this was right across the street. We honestly walked in at the perfect time because by the time we ordered our food and sat at a table it was PACKED in there. This pub was super interesting and had the most unique mix of bagel spreads. I ordered the Greek salad with avocado and a side of bacon. And for $12 the portion was insane. I asked for a second bow to split it in half and it still made two pretty large salads. That was a steal honestly. My friend ordered the everything bagel with tuna salad on one side and the garlic and herb cream cheese on the other side. If I wasn't limiting my carbs I definitely would've gotten a bagel/sandwich because I'm so serious, there were some amazing cream cheese spread combos. It's honestly like a deli pub hybrid as far as vibe so I can't really speak to the service or general atmosphere. It was just very busy, but that's just New York I guess. The portions were great and we enjoyed what we ordered.

Second time to this location and the ABC bagel sandwich was once again delicious! They pick perfectly ripened avocado. The bacon is crispity and the cheddar is the right amount on the scrambled eggs and in between the warm toasted everything bagel. Delicious! Good service! Good coffee! And a variety of milks to add to your coffee !

A very solid bagel place with tons of flavored cream cheese options, and other sandwiches that can easily fill your belly. The location is perfect close to a few subway stops and they move the line quickly if you're in a rush to get in and out. Their prices are reasonable and they have a nice ambience.

Bagel Pub was efficient and absolutely lived up to the hype. Setting: Classic neighborhood bagel shop with a classic pub theme - quite the concept, I enjoyed it. Service: Easy, kind, and welcoming--made grabbing breakfast a breeze. Food: Bagels were pillowy with the perfect crisp when toasted, paired beautifully with their cream cheeses. I tried the Chipotle bacon cream cheese, and the cucumber dill; as for bagels I tried: classic, cinnamon raisin, blueberry, and everything bagels. Definitely excited to come back and try more flavors!

I'm a total sucker for bagels with a thick slab of cream cheese, and Bagel Pub has officially won my heart with their extensive spread selection. This time around, their bagels felt even fluffier and fresher than I remembered. Don't be shy about asking for cream cheese samples--they're super generous with the scoops!! Shout out to Stephanie who gave me incredible recommendations :) *Fresh Lox #3 with Lemon Whipped CC I was recommended this uncommon combo, and it actually worked!? The lemon spread added a bright and citrusy contrast that balanced with the smoked salmon. If I tasted the lemon spread by itself, it was refreshing and zesty! *ABC Omelette Bagel One of their bestsellers from the many lunch options on the menu. It was not only visually appealing but also delicious and filling!  *Blueberry Bagel w. Mixed Berries CC Even though I usually go for savory, their sweet cream cheese completely won me over. I also tried their special blueberry crumb spread and it was so fruity.  *Pumpernickel Bagel w. Lox Spread Their lox spread is packed with salmon chunks. Such a good value if you're craving lox without wanting to splurge on a lox bagel. *Sesame Bagel w. Tofu Scallion Spread They offer non-dairy tofu spreads like tofu lox, tofu scallion, and tofu veggie. It is lighter than regular cream cheese. Their sesame bagel is also fluffier. I just wish they had a sweet tofu option too! *Coco Loco Juice, Fresh Orange Juice As a bagel shop, their drink menu is surprisingly extensive. All the juices are freshly squeezed with real fruit, and my favorite was the Coco Loco, which was a mix of coconut water, strawberry, and pineapple. *Iced Blueberry Matcha, Iced Banana Latte I tried their most popular drinks, and I was pleasantly surprised that both lattes weren't overly sweet!

I was walking around and stumbled across Bagel Pub. I went in on a whim and ordered their special (ABC: avocado, bacon, and cheese), which also came with a hash brown on the side. It feels a little overwhelming inside, so I would suggest knowing what you want before you walk in. The guy taking my order did not seem very friendly, but it was fine. The place is small and busy, so waiting for my bagel was a little rough since there is not really anywhere to stand without being in the way. The bagel itself was just okay. Maybe I did not order the right combination, but it did not feel like anything special which was honestly kind of disappointing. They do have a lot of different spreads, but not many bagel options. The hash brown was pretty standard. I also chose not to get a coffee, which was included in the special, but still had to pay for one. I guess that is reasonable, but not ideal. Overall, I feel like I could have found something better for less.

Very very great lox bagels! Stopped by twice and tried Fresh Lox #1 and Fresh Lox #2! Get #1 if you want something that has a zing since it's their dill cream cheese. Get #2 if you want something overall more refreshing. Great vibe and service here. Food came out fast - couldn't complain.

Favorite bagel shop in NY! Surprised it is not more popular on Yelp, but glad to keep as a hidden gem. I got their lox on garlic bagel and it was SO good. Besides it being huge, and filled with generous amount of lox & cream cheese, their bagel tasted amazing. As mentioned, they are generous in their portion so I ended up eating half and taking the rest back. The shop is intimate in size, but one of the cleaner bagel shops in NY, so we really enjoyed dining inside. It was pretty busy, so we were fortunate to find a seat. The selection of cream cheese and food items were tempting to purchase, if only I was a resident! Also enjoyed their iced coffee. Would definitely come back when I visit NY again.

Good bagel spot, had a really nice egg everything with scallion cream cheese and bacon. Would come again.

    Constance L.

Enormous bagels -- great for lunch. Insane variety of cream cheese flavors! All priced the same so you can get creative with combinations guilt-free. Their sandwiches are huge and could stretch to 2 meals. I also brought a few untoasted bagels home and they kept really well in the fridge for a few days.

Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
