This is hands down my absolute favorite bagel establishment I have ever been to, and it's also super aesthetic, the vibes here here! The service was very friendly, the food was even more so. I was absolutely blown away with the amount of fresh, hand-made cream cheese / butter / spread selections - some of the ones that were available when I came were: Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter, Garlic Parsley Butter, Walnut Raisin Cream Cheese, Strawberry Cream Cheese, Cinnamon Roll Cream Cheese, Olive Cream Cheese, Nutella Chip Cream Cheese, Lemon Poppy Cream Cheese, Jalapeno Cheddar Cream Cheese, Garlic Herb Cream Cheese, Bacon Cheddar, Chili Crisp, Basil Pesto... I mean seriously the options are ENDLESS. Sweet, salty, savory, you name it. I will admit, it's a bit overwhelming because you want to try it all especially because they're all beautifully displayed. Even after you pick the spread, you still have to choose from one of the many different bagel options too so.. that's the hard part - making choices! There is seating available both in and outside. The ratio of the toppings to salmon was also perfect. My only complaint is that the general service during lunch hour seems a bit disorganized from a getting your order perspective. My friend and I stopped in here by chance. The cafe we initially were gonna go to was packed and this was right across the street. We honestly walked in at the perfect time because by the time we ordered our food and sat at a table it was PACKED in there. This pub was super interesting and had the most unique mix of bagel spreads. I ordered the Greek salad with avocado and a side of bacon. And for $12 the portion was insane. I asked for a second bow to split it in half and it still made two pretty large salads. That was a steal honestly. My friend ordered the everything bagel with tuna salad on one side and the garlic and herb cream cheese on the other side. If I wasn't limiting my carbs I definitely would've gotten a bagel/sandwich because I'm so serious, there were some amazing cream cheese spread combos. The works, scooped, on a toasted egg everything with scallion cream cheese. I ate it three days in a row because it was that good. And with the side of an iced latte it was... Perfection. We tried multiple bagels with our group including blueberry and the ABC bagel. All were great, and all their espresso drinks and their fresh OJ were hits as well. My biggest criticism was I ordered some uncut bagels to bring home and they were just thrown unwrapped into a big square brown bag alongside all of our wrapped sandwiches. I had a very frustrating experience at Bagel Pub. When I walked in, I was greeted and handed a menu after being asked if I wanted one. After that, I stood waiting at the counter for at least five minutes before anyone acknowledged me or asked what I wanted. When someone finally did, I told the woman I wanted 15 bagels and asked the price. She told me they were $2 each. As I started listing the bagels I wanted, she stopped me and walked away. She came back, I started over, and then she walked away again. When she returned with an order pad, I had to start my order from the beginning for a third time. As I continued, I asked how many bagels we were up to. She said 11, so I listed a few more. Instead of simply telling me we had reached 15, she said, "So you want 16?" By that point, after repeatedly being interrupted and having to restart my order multiple times, I was frustrated and decided to leave without making a purchase. I was walking around and stumbled across Bagel Pub. I went in on a whim and ordered their special (ABC: avocado, bacon, and cheese), which also came with a hash brown on the side. It feels a little overwhelming inside, so I would suggest knowing what you want before you walk in. The guy taking my order did not seem very friendly, but it was fine. The place is small and busy, so waiting for my bagel was a little rough since there is not really anywhere to stand without being in the way. The bagel itself was just okay. Maybe I did not order the right combination, but it did not feel like anything special which was honestly kind of disappointing. They do have a lot of different spreads, but not many bagel options. The hash brown was pretty standard. I also chose not to get a coffee, which was included in the special, but still had to pay for one. I guess that is reasonable, but not ideal. It is a tight dining, order area and check out area but it usually moves pretty quick. The order takers are cool, patient, welcoming and very considerate. I have been lucky (or is it PB's consistency) with every bagel with golden-brown, slightly crisp crust that gives way to a chewy, dense interior with just the right amount of elasticity. Was in NYC so I needed to make sure to get an authentic bagel. This place was a short 5 minute walk from my hotel so I gave it a try. The cashier asked what kind of bagel I wanted. I wasn't sure and asked what was good. She suggested sesame or everything. I wanted to taste the bagel and the fillings so I went sesame. I was great. Warm, and filling. I could really tell the bagel was fresh and the peppers, egg and cheese made a great combo with the ham. It was filling, I could have eaten half and just saved the rest or shared with my wife. Since I was alone and didn't want to carry half I sandwich around the city, I fought to finish the rest.
