I stopped by on a Friday morning and there was a short line that moved quickly. I ordered the ABC on sesame and a coffee, and made it through the line/check out quickly. I got my sandwich and it was hot and fresh, and the bagel was soft and chewy. Overall a good experience and I would definitely come back to this location!

Newly open bagel shop at union square. Dine in and take out options are both available. Tables and seats for the customers. All self service. You put in the order and the deli counter and pay at the register. Many different options: sandwiches bagels salads etc. I order chicken Caesar wrap, fries and a hot tea (Lipton). The wrap is good. I got fried chicken. It's decent, not dry. Fries can have a little bit more seasoning. The staff are very nice and helpful. Nice and clean inside. A solid spot for lunch in this area.

As we have come to know, I love a place with an older, dark wood vibe and I loved this place! It had a huge old mirror above the cream cheese case that was angled so you can see yourself which was fun. We also came right before going to Pride since it was so close and they were definitely playing a pride playlist which was lovely. I loved that they had some fun summery drink specials like the watermelon lemonade which I got. It was so good, I downed it so fast I also got a toasted onion bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese and that shit was LOADED UP. I always appreciate the sentiment of overloading a bagel but I physically cannot eat it lol. But! I will not knock them for it. It was really really good. Will definitely try to come back for next year's Pride!

I love bagel pub. It's one of my favorite bagel spots in NYC. So so good. There's always spots to sit in the shop both inside and outside. The service is generally pretty good despite it being a chain. I went to Bagel Pub multiple times when I was in NYC and I would strongly recommend... it's a staple. One of the best bagels in New York.

So good. Amazing bagels. Got a BEC on an everything egg bagel with truffle cream cheese.

Bagel Pub is my all time favorite NYC bagel so was very excited to try the newest location! They have a few benches outside and a bunch of indoor seating. Bagels are 10/10 as always, ad are the vegan cream cheese options (plain, scallion, and veggie).

Waited over 20 minutes to receive the wrong sandwich. Asked for a 16 and got a 10. They need a better ordering system

The BEC had a good amount of crispy bacon in it but what really stood out was the coffee.

The prices are just right and three of us ate with 4 beverages and tip for 65$. Not bad for New York. We had the pastrami on a plain bagel and two of the salmon specials on everything bagels. SO GOOD.

We stopped in around 9:30 AM on a Saturday, and the place was buzzing--a clear sign of its popularity. While it is strictly a "to-go" spot, the efficiency of the operation makes the morning rush manageable. The Logistics & Ordering The menu is expansive, spanning three screens with an incredible variety of bagel types, cream cheese flavors, meats, and cheeses. Despite the line, the ordering process was straightforward. A major plus: you have the option to have your bagel toasted before they assemble the sandwich. Our coffees were ready within 2-3 minutes, and the sandwiches followed about 10 minutes later--very reasonable given how busy they were. The Food I went with a classic Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on an Egg Bagel. * The Bagel: The egg bagel itself was phenomenal. It had that perfect, authentic texture that makes NYC bagels famous. * The Build: The sandwich was very generously portioned. Every bite was delicious, well-balanced, and exactly what you want from a hearty breakfast sandwich. The "Extras" One of the most charming and unexpected parts of BTS is their candy selection. They carry an array of nostalgic and "internet-famous" treats I didn't even realize were still in production (or existed at all!). Keep an eye out for: * Dr. Pepper Tic Tacs * Krispy Kreme Doughnut Jelly Beans * Strawberry Creams * Pickle Candy The Verdict Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a top-tier spot for a reliable, high-quality NYC breakfast. Just be prepared for a crowd, but know that the payoff is worth the wait. If you are looking for a quintessential NYC bagel breakfast sandwich, Bagel to Sandwich (BTS) on W 40th is a must-visit.
