At first when you see the package it's so big. You open and you see a bagel on steroid. I ordered a Bacon egg cheese with cucumber, red onions and tomatoes on an everything bagel The dough was soft and warm and the ingredients inside were fresh. I went to the Financial District location because I didn't want to deal with the long lines in SoHo lol -- and yes, there was no line at all here! I ordered a BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) on an everything bagel with chili crisp. It was around $16-18, not exactly sure, but I can tell you right now -- this is definitely shareable. If you eat the whole thing yourself, you probably won't have room for anything else the rest of the day. We waited about 8-10 minutes, which isn't bad at all, especially since it's such a popular spot. The bagel came out piping hot. The cheese was super melty and stretchy, and they were very generous with the filling. The chili crisp adds great flavor, but it can get a little messy. The bagel itself is huge. Amazing bagels in FiDi! Tried this place out a few weeks ago on a trip to NYC. Line wasn't too long, waited maybe 15 minutes. The shop itself is pretty small and next to a coffee shop (smart move on their part). We tried a chicken sausage egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, which was amazing. We also tried another everything bagel with the herb spread, which was also awesome. The cream cheese was packed on thick, which I loved, but so much so that I was able to take some of the cream cheese and put it on the egg and cheese bagel and make a truly incredible combo. Did not really fit the block well when I saw it. No wonder this stood out in my eyes while I was walking on John Street. I decided to give it a try with their bagels and coffee since it looked nice and they have a variety of bagels. I didn't realize you can insert cream cheese spread and lox until I saw the menu. I got myself a whole wheat everything bagel, egg everything bagel, and an iced latte. The iced latte had a flagrant and aromatic coffee taste that was very enjoyable. I loved the egg everything bagel. It was fresh and easy to break off. My teeth did not have to struggle to chew the bagel into pieces. It's a hole in the wall style store, which had a queue waiting outside down the street when I visited. Ordering was quick and then waiting for the food took about ten mins. We tried their breakfast bagels - sausage egg cheese on pumpernickel and bacon egg cheese on everything egg. The bagels themselves are a chewy texture with less crispiness on the crust which is easy to eat. Waited 10 minutes from ordering to receiving which is still a bit too long for a New Yorker haha. I got the whole wheat everything bagel with garlic & herb cream cheese. FIDI is typically deserted on weekend mornings, so thought this place must be good. While in line, a woman in front of me told me the chili crisp BEC was the way to go. She was right- FYI do not open this until you get home because the oil will cover the bagel wrapper. It's the Perfect bagel, crispy with fluffy insides.
