    Farmers Omelette

I came here with my family during brunch. This place is the typical brunch fair and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food wasn't bad. The farmers omelette was light and the salad was a great addition. My parents definitely enjoyed the bread basket so I would recommend that as well. Overall not a bad place for a typical American brunch.

Sydney is amazing! We landed on the redeye from Los Angeles at 6am, arrived at the restaurant at 8:15 am, I was craving the tomato soup, and though they don't start serving it until lunch time, she worked her magic, and I had the soup and a pumpkin muffin for breakfast!

Very good brunch experience here. Highly recommend making reservations. The popovers were delicious and the goldie lox scramble good. My partner also enjoyed the turkey club sandwich, it was massive. Overall, prices were definitely on the pricey spot, but in-line with New York.

I just stumbled into this Upper West Side restaurant for breakfast after watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade live on Central Park West. A sea of people descended on the area after the parade and I was lucky enough to finagle a spot at the bar that they had not been using since they had menus and stuff there. But I got the hostess the ask her manager about it and they obliged me. I had a delicious Bloody Mary and and Eggs Benedict which came with rocket greens instead of potatoes. Afterward I had a double cappuccino. The poached eggs in my dish were a little overcooked and not runny but the flavor was great and I was starving. Also the place was packed to the gills with a line out the door so the cooking staff must have been swamped. The staff were great and the place was nicely appointed. And I am sorry for the one star ding on the eggs. Cheers.

Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the chicken sausage was very tasty, and the beet salad was very good. Definitely recommended

Delicious and super cute spot for brunch with friends or family. Service is super quick once you get your table; however, it does get a little crowded near the host stand, even if you have a reservation. Their popovers are a must have and their omelettes are super fresh. Would definitely come back again.

I liked this place! Came here for lunch with a friend. Service was good and we got to sit outside in the nice weather. Food came out fast and water was refilled frequently, although we did have to wait for the check. I liked the beet salad although the creamy butter-like spread at the bottom was a little rich to not be dispersed among the beets and arugula. Otherwise, I enjoyed the experience.

An old friend and I wanted to catch up over brunch somewhere on the UWS. She found this spot! I'd say 5/5 for service. Very friendly and didn't rush us out even though we had stayed there for about 2 hours (granted, it was lunch time on a Friday so it wasn't too crowded). My friend and I both order cappuccinos - they were decent! We shared savory and sweet entrees: pumpkin spice french toast (seasonal menu) and the Farmer's omelette. The entrees were both pretty good, and had quite big portions so it was great to share! The French Toast tasted nothing reminiscent of pumpkin spice though - I believe the only pumpkin spice in the dish was the added flavoring of the maple syrup but I did not taste it at all. The omelette came with a carb side, and we chose the English muffin which tasted pretty good. It was a nice brunch spot with dependably good (but not show-stopping) food!

Classic New York brunch spot serving decent (albeit overpriced) bfast food. There's always a wait on weekends so make sure to come w reservations or be prepared to wait. Food is fine, I like their popovers that are served w most egg dishes. Service is decent but this place is always packed so they're running around a lot and can be hard to flag down.

    Fat & Fluffy French Toast

Came here on a Saturday around 12 pm with a reservation so we were seated right away. I ordered the French toast and it was good, fluffy and moist. I tried some of my sister's fried chicken sandwich and though the chicken was nice and crispy, I didn't really like the pickles and red onions that came with it. Portions were small for the pretty high prices.

Fat & Fluffy French Toast and Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich

Came here on a Saturday lunch with a reservation and our party of 7 was seated promptly. I ordered the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was good but I wasn't a fan of the sauce or pickles/red onions. The fries were tasty but a little salty. My sister's French toast was pretty good but I wish it was crispier. Pretty pricey at around $25 each dish but that's expected in NYC

Farmers Omelette Creme Brulee French Toast Salmon Benedict

I order the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and the "special" Creme Brûlée French Toast. The french toast lacked any sort of Creme Brûlée, I think they just slapped that term on it to seem more appealing but nothing of it resembled. That doesn't mean it wasn't good though, I found it tasty nothing spectacular. My eggs benedict severely lacked salmon, it had very thin little shreds of salmon, but also that doesn't mean it was bad. Just inaccurately priced as $27. I think overall, it is overpriced for the quality of food you're getting. In reality, I think all of the meals were overpriced, when you look at it, it's just eggs and arugula on both plates, and no sides for the "Creme Brulee" french toast. Besides the overpriced food, the ambience was somehow worse. We were sat outside in the corner on a slanted surface. The table was unsteady and shaking our plates and glasses, our chairs were also unsteady. Mine, moreover was constantly being hit by the person behind me, I barely had room. Every time someone got up or left behind me I would have to get up from my seat and move out of the way. I think if you are going to attempt outdoor seating, at least space the seats out well and don't set up flat chairs and table on a slanted surface. However, what I will say is the service was excellent. Our server was kind and attentive, the only mishap was when one of the servers poured tap into my cup when we ordered still, but I didn't mind. Overall, overpriced food, bad seating, and nice service.

I love a local spot, it is a chain in the City. I came here because they offered popovers and they're one of my favorite things to eat. I was disappointed with the staff. It was our first time here and our eyes are always bigger than our stomach so we wanted to make sure we ordered appropriately. When asking about the wild mushroom popover our waiter told us it was one popover with small mushrooms inside it. So we ordered the popover, lemon ricotta pancakes, the quiche and a side of pork and apricot sausage. IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR TWO PEOPLE Our waiter even made a little "oh okay" noise after we ordered, but we weren't sure why until all the food came. Loved the mushroom popover - it's a EGG scramble and totally misrepresented by the waiter, the popover was just okay. The lemon ricotta pancakes were good. I loved the side salads that accompanied both the popover and the quiche. Overall a solid spot for breakfast, nothing mind blowing minus the mushroom scramble - that was lovely, but it's an egg dish with a side of popover vs a filled popover.

He mentioned to me that he knows a place in the neighborhood that has really good burgers. I usually go to my familiar spots, but I figured the way he was talking this place up for their burgers, I might as well give it a shot. Why not right? So we enter "Nobody Told Me", which is a new venue in the neighborhood, at least to me. It was cool. We sat at the bar. I asked for a menu and the Bartender just pointed to the menu that's on the wall. So I made my selection of Burger. I'm honestly probably a boring Burger person because for the most part I just like meat, cheese and bun. I mean, a nice fried egg over easy doesn't hurt. I've also done that with some mac & cheese, and it was incredibly delicious but also, very gluttonous to say the least. lol. In any case, I ordered my burger. Meat, cheese, and bun. I think it was a double Patti Smashburger maybe? And it came with some fries. The burger was good. It was actually better than what I expected. It was juicy without being all bloody and had flavor. It was also a pretty good size.. I mean I couldn't finish it.. I don't eat huge portions or meals.. The fries were good too. I might request a bit more crisp on the fries if I go back. That's just me.. But they were good nonetheless. Burger and fries also had a bit of a lite oniony flavor to them.. I guess to add some flavor.. As far as the vibe in the spot, it was cool. Room was dim as it was day time outside so it was chill. Seemed to be a pretty young crowd of new people who have recently moved in the neighborhood. Who knows? I've only lived here for 50 years.. but it was a cool experience.. They had some cool music playing lightly so you can carry a convo.. In any case, if you are looking for a pretty good burger, I'd give this place a try.. And there you go! Have a great one yall! -Ray

A friend and I chose to experience the Restaurant Week lunch special since neither of us had been to this restaurant before. We sat at the bar and decided to go for the $19 lunch special they serve Monday - Friday instead. We had alot of staff servicing us. Even though we sat at the actual bar, we had a floor server attending to us as well as the bar staff. We even met the manager, Tiffany, as she introduced herself to us and made sure we were taken care of properly. The UWS location is huge. It is about 2/3rds of a North/South block with an enclosed patio built in the front of the restaurant. The bar is simply beautiful. It is half inside and half on the sidewalk also semi enclosed. I did not walk around the inside of the restaurant but I did see there were alot of mirrors and a darker interior. Bar was filled with liquor on the walls and gave it a modern day saloon feel. Very comfortable and inviting. We ordered drinks initially. They were carefully crafted and tasty on a hot summer day. I ordered the Waldorf Salad lunch special and my friend had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I must say the portions are large. They make sure you do not leave hungry! :) Both entrees came with soup and a second side. I had the biscuit and honey/maple butter. Oh my was it heavenly. My friend was super satisfied with her sandwich. It looked like a meal fit for a Queen! All of the food was seasoned well. While we were still enjoying our meal the bar changed from lunch to happy hour service. My friend decided to order the Margarita flight. It came with three flavored margaritas for a mere $12. I tried the Spicy Brine Margarita and it will now be the only drink I have for future visits. So delicious and flavorful. We were having such a great time as the bar filled with patrons and we spoke with our neighbors. At this time one of our servers brought us a complimentary pretzel. It was the star of the show from presentation to taste I would recommend anyone to try it. The bathrooms are unisex. By the time I needed to use it the restaurant was crowded and so it needed to be serviced. The stall I utilized had a strong urine smell and needed a proper cleaning. Management might consider placing air fresheners in each stall to at least give the illusion of cleanliness. This restaurant raised the bar for hospitality! The service was top notch as well as the food and atmosphere. If you have not tried this place I highly suggest that you do. It is a 100 out of 10 establishment for NYC! My gratitude goes out to all of the wait staff and bartenders that made our experience so wonderful.

I sat at the bar, so the service was fine, though not particularly memorable. What I loved most was the patio: it's partially open and partially enclosed, letting you enjoy plenty of natural light while staying cool in the air conditioning. It gives you the feeling of dining outdoors without the noise or wind from the street. The interior design is beautiful and adds so much to the experience. I definitely recommend checking this place out. I'll certainly be back to try more of the menu!

Let me be clear, the main redeeming aspect of this place is the talent on stage. The musicians were exceptional and deserved far better than the environment surrounding them. I ordered a scotch neat, something I'm very familiar with, and immediately knew something was off. When I politely flagged down a waiter, he responded with visible annoyance, as if I was inconveniencing him by being a paying customer. I explained the issue and simply asked if it could be checked or replaced. Instead of addressing it professionally, he walked away without a word, returned holding the bottle and my glass, and said, "this is what you were poured," before carelessly tossing the drink back onto the table. No apology. No explanation. Just attitude. It escalated from there. When I confronted him about his behavior, he denied it outright and then doubled down with an aggressive, confrontational stance, getting in my face and effectively threatening me. His exact words? "If I tossed your drink on the table, it would have been all over you!", and "Man, shut yo ass!" Completely unprofessional and unacceptable in any setting, let alone an establishment that positions itself as upscale. The manager's response was just as disappointing. Instead of addressing the behavior of his staff, he blamed me, asking why I "chased" the waiter and suggesting I should have gone directly to him. That's not how basic customer service works. I tried to resolve the issue directly, respectfully, and without escalation, something his employee clearly had no interest in. I was thinking if I talk to the waiter first, he wouldn't get in trouble with his manager. To make matters worse, the manager continued to defend the waiter rather than de-escalate the situation. At that point, it was clear this wasn't a one-off issue; it's a reflection of how this place operates. I paid my bill and left. For a venue that attracts world-class jazz talent, it's astonishing how low the standard of service is. This place is doing a disservice to the artists who perform there. I will never return, and I would strongly caution anyone expecting a professional, respectful experience to look elsewhere.
