I went here a while back to order lunch for takeout, and it was pretty good. After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.

My first ever order of Boong's wings, since wings are hands-on, was a bit messy, but oh sooo good, and worth it. LOL But, as I write this, I realize that the boneless chicken pieces I have ordered twice, are not messy, even tho I'm hands-on with that meal, too. LOL. so, I could eat those in the shop, and not feel like my hands are a total mess. SERVICE is friendly and helpful. ASK if you have questions. :) I've had the chicken wings, and the boneless fried chicken. I like the sauce choices, and the complimentary small container of kimchi . You need to ask for it if you want it. And, right there!! Boom!! That's a BENEFIT OF READING YELP REVIEWS. Right?!! :) That part of my take-out container that is open, is open for a reason--to keep the crunchiness of the chicken. If closed, the heat from the food would make it less crunchy. As if steaming it. So, the restaurant gives you your takeout container with one part open. Make sure it stays open. I still have to try the ramen, because I'm curious about the machine -see my photos--the machine helps you prepare your ramen sold in the colorful packaged ramen available in the shop. There is a MILD-SPICY-EXTRA SPICY. SELECTION. See my photos of the COLORFUL RAMEN WALL. There is seating available inside-about 6 tables. I'll update when I try the ramen, and I'll enjoy it inside the shop.

I ended up getting 10 and it lasted me another meal (I'm also a female and 5'1, so I can't say my appetite is too huge, but my boyfriend ate 6 and he was pretty full). We also got the Cajun fries to share! Now, I'm not gonna lie, these fries were very salty. So salty that I don't think we're gonna get fries with seasoning next time because they were quite salty! The lemon pepper wings were pretty salty too, which might be why I got full so fast cause I needed to drink HELLA water to wash it down. Now, I must also mention, we did want to eat there at first, but there were hella ants on the side tables and it was giving me the heebie-jeebies, so we ate in our car instead (always keep food trays in your car, gang!) The location is just off the Hutchinson Parkway exit, so parking can be a bit difficult. With all of this said, when it comes to Wingstop, Buffalo, wild wings, and House of Wings, I gotta give it to House of Wings on taste. The wings really were good, and despite what I mentioned above, I would still be coming through again to try different flavors. And yes, that's despite the ants we saw. If it were roaches, you'd never see me in there again. Hopefully they can figure out the ant issue.

Perfect size wings, chicken sandwich, Lemon pepper fries and the chopped cheese bowl exceeded expectations. A bit pricey but worth it. We will definitely order again and trying something new. So many wing flavors it's hard to choose.

You don't have to go all the way downtown to Korea-town to get fresh, delicious Korean street food any more if you're in The Bronx. So if you're shopping in any of the stores in this Mall you must make a stop here & get a bite to eat! Or some takeout. The place is brightly lit & cheery colors & the staff is friendly & ready to serve you. The owner is equally accommodating. Our Yelp Elite Group Event was held here for a most filling & tasteful sampling of their menu items. We also enjoyed an interesting & creative Match up game with stimulating food questions called Foodie Speed Networking where we made new foodie friends & answered 3 food related questions, in addition to the complimentary gift tote bags & mini umbrellas that our host & leader Shah prepared for us. So with much appreciation thank you & Rokstar Chicken, you Rock! Now pleeease, add some Fried Cream Cheese & Guava Balls to your menu
