I'm back baby!! There was a muscle maker Grill in East Meadow Long Island, at which I ate once or twice daily, to help me enjoyably lose 50 pounds or more. However they closed that store and left me high and dry. Needless to say, I gained back nearly all of that weight in the years since. But whatever I can I'm going to try to get to this Muscle Maker in the Bronx to stock up on sandwiches so that at least I can use them in the same way toward healthy eating. Let's see what happens. Not sure I'm going to order many of these because the spinach and peppers are wet and along with the cucumber salad on the side I need the sandwiches to stay dry for days. Menu is extensive- but you can swap this for that- even eliminate an item or two. Muscle Maker can possibly seat up a big crowd. Has a combination of blacks, reds, whites design with ceiling pipes almost running towards the back. There's a good view of the prep station (from what I saw). I ordered up front- though not sure if there's any other way. Since I decided on getting rid of the chicken in my option, these guys made me a decent Asian Ginger (Iceberg Base) Salad without that protein and then I added sautéed Mushrooms. And boy... it was incredibly juicy and tasty. Price was fair for the fresh ingredients- even the fresh mushrooms used. I've gotten multiple meals here over the years so I surprised myself to see I had never reviewed this establishment. It's a nice and clean location on E Tremont (normally-pre covid) there is indoor seating available, but not right now. The food is always pretty good & the portions are solid for the money. -Turkey Burger Wrap: 4/5, one of my favorite dishes. The flavor is usually very good, and the meat is nicely seasoned and tender. A bit small compared to other wraps though. -Turkey Chili: 5/5, probably my #1 goto. Great combination of flavor, huge portion and overall a really good dish. It's not a "chili" like you may assume, like a soup or anything. It's a rice bowl with minced turkey and the toppings together. -The Godfather: 3.5/5, this is my SO's goto dish. Personally not a huge fan because it's been a hit or miss in the past. Sometimes the chicken breast is really dry, or not enough balsamic, etc. but she seems to like it. -Spicy BBQ Chicken Bites: 5/5, 1 word..delicious. Portion could be a little bigger but definitely worth the price. Overall, this is a really nice option to have when opting for a (healthier) meal. Most of the bigger portion dishes cost about what a burger and fries costs elsewhere so I personally would choose a place like this much more often. The food is good, staff is (mostly) all nice and helpful, restaurant kept clean, and you don't feel like absolute sh*t after eating the food here. Definitely recommend trying them out. read more

Muscle Maker has been one of my go to spots for a few years now and somehow this review managed to slip through the cracks so to speak. Eat Good. Feel Good. Is the MMG's motto and they live up to it. With made to order meals using fresh waistline friendly ingredients. There hasn't been an item on the menu that I've tried and wasn't pleased with. Each meal will run you on average about $10 and since they are made to order you will have to wait. A well worth it wait btw. This location is spacious, clean and has a nice staff. They even have a fitness studio at the back where classes are held weekly @ a nominal fee. Of all the locations I've been to by far this is one of my favs. They offer delivery, however because of popularity there can be a wait. If you know what you want I recommend calling it in and the doing a drive-by self pick-up. Just A Note: Sadly but respected they are closed on Sundays. read more

This place used to be really good. The food was decent but the staff and the cleanliness and the idea of the high protein low carb menu items made it a go to for me. Recently the passed few visits were less then desirable mostly due to the food quality and the staff were very rude. Today is the last time I will be going there. The young overweight blonde girl I was waiting to take my order was on her cell phone ignoring me most of the time as I stood waiting for help even nicely saying hi etc. she then walked away and did some very unhygenic thing that I won't say here but basically picking a wedgie in a different area. I was immediately disgusted and walked out which at that time she most likely didn't even notice because she continued to ignore me now by watching tv instead of paying attention to myself and the other customer who witnessed this and left. They use fresh ingredients and make all of the food from scratch right in front of you, if you're sitting at the counter waiting for your food to go. I've had their salads, the turkey 'burger', baked sweet potato fries, smoothies...Everything I've had is really tasty. Their prices are on the high side, but they have no competition in the area so they can afford to do so. Though a bit pricey, it is well worth it if you don't feel like cooking yourself. Looked up keto on uner eats and came across this gem that had a specific keto section. I was so pleased because I recently started dipping my toe in the keto world. After looking through the menu I settled on the spinach Caesar wrap with mixed veg and the keto Buffalo plate with chicken. I really enjoyed the keto plate and the spinach wrap was good. Hello I don't usually give reviews about food but this one will help others to avoid this Muscle Maker. I just received 2 Rocky Balboa wraps which consist of meatballs, grilled chicken and marinara sauce. The meatball was rock solid and the grilled chicken was very dry. To top it off they forgot to put the marinara sauce on it. I was trying to call them to complain and no one answered the phone and voicemail box was full. Everytime I try to order food for pick up from this location, they literally go out of there way to make sure no one answers the phone. I called here for delivery on a Saturday night at around 7 and was told it would take an hour and a half, so apparently they get quite busy. But I still decided to go for it, since this place came recommended as the best healthy food in the area, and I had already made my mind up about my order so there was no turning back. I got the (spicy) veggie wrap with a side of savory spinach. The person I was with got the Asian sesame ginger salad and we got sides of the spinach and turkey meatballs to share. The food itself was really good; I loved my wrap and the spinach. My one complaint was that they said nothing about cheese being on the savory spinach and turkey meatball sides on the menu. While the entrees have ingredients listed, the sides do not. I ordered my wrap without cheese since I can't eat it so I would think someone would mention to me that the sides come with cheese. I could only pick at the non cheesy areas of the meatball, which tasted delicious, but was hardly satisfying since I had to avoid the cheese. You would think they'd list cheese as an ingredient on the menu, or at least notify me since I stressed for no cheese in my wrap.... Besides for that, the food was really good and I would definitely eat here again. read more

I went to Muscle Maker last Saturday, April 6, 2024. When I walked in I was greeted by a woman with long black hair and glasses(Loren). She asked me what I would like to order and I explained to her that I really wasn't too sure what I wanted. So she proceeded to give me a menu and said that if I have any questions to please feel free to ask her and she would guide me and make suggestions. I think she noticed the look of uncertainty/confusion on my face because she approached me again and asked if she could make some suggestions? I explained to her what I wanted and what I didn't want. So after a couple of suggestions, I got the MMG signature wrap to which she assured me that was a great choice. Omg she couldn't have been more correct. I absolutely loved the MMG signature wrap. Loren, thank you very much for your patience with me in my indecisiveness with going back & forth between wraps, bowls and salads. You were very helpful & you have a great sense of humor as well. I've been going to this MMG location since it opened and have always considered myself a loyal customer. However, recently I have noticed this Muscle Maker Grill has gone extremely downhill. From the poor customer service to the extremely long delivery times, my patience is growing thin with this location. One particular qualm has to do with the signature sauce. My usual order is the Arizona and for about the past two years it has BARELY been drizzled with sauce. There's nothing worse than dry rice. Thus, I constantly have to ask for extra sauce. HOWEVER, I have been charged various amounts for the extra sauce, from $0.75 to $1.00, which is especially confusing as the website charges $0.59 for the sauce? Attached are photos of the varying sauce prices, as seen on my receipt and menu. Also, it is quite frankly ridiculous that when I'm paying about $3.00 for all the extra sauce (which should already be on my meal) the sauce cups are nearly empty. Attached is a picture of one of the sauce containers that I received during my last order, which as you can see is barely half full. In summary, I'm very disappointed with the Bronx MMG's laughable and inane sauce policy, a problem that I haven't encountered with any other locations. I strongly urge MMG to reconsider their sauce policy or at the very LEAST actually give me the sauce that is meant to come with the meal I'm paying for. read more

The inside is very clean. It has a little more if a fast-food kind of feel but much much healthier. I ordered a Chicken dish with Balsamic vinaigrette which was a little too strong for me. It was also a lot of food and very reasonably priced. I ended up taking most of what I ate home and added a little bit of my own flavoring to it to off-set the vinaigrette. After doing so, the dish was one if the most delicious dishes. The person I came with happened to really enjoy his meal, which had a slightly better sauce. He also recommended the shakes which I didn't get a chance to try. I think this place really depends on what you order, you can still be very healthy without sacrificing flavors, but I love the concept! I would come back but try something different. read more

If you're trying to stay fit this is the place. The salads are huge but full of power foods. The chicken is always so nicely grilled and the lettuce fresh and crisp. So far I've had the Mexican and the Asian both very good choices. I visited the one on 47 West and was not at all happy with the service and the cleanliness of the establishment. The girl there was rude and short, however the one on 14th and 7th was super clean and the staff was friendlier. I'll be visiting that one instead. read more
