Chicken Parmesan

Had to wait 25-30 minutes for chicken parmesan. The food was decent but not worth the wait.

European wrap

I'm back baby!! There was a muscle maker Grill in East Meadow Long Island, at which I ate once or twice daily, to help me enjoyably lose 50 pounds or more. However they closed that store and left me high and dry. Needless to say, I gained back nearly all of that weight in the years since. But whatever I can I'm going to try to get to this Muscle Maker in the Bronx to stock up on sandwiches so that at least I can use them in the same way toward healthy eating. Let's see what happens. Upon pick up, I eat my first European wrap. Not sure I'm going to order many of these because the spinach and peppers are wet and along with the cucumber salad on the side I need the sandwiches to stay dry for days. I might have to make arrangements with ownership to put the cucumber salad on the side when I do make a pick up in the future

Dig Into It~ (Asian Ginger Salad W/Out Chicken)- & Tasty

For an underrated Throgs Neck eatery, Muscle Maker has everything from Salads, Burgers, Bowls, Wraps, Pastas- down to the Quinoa. Menu is extensive- but you can swap this for that- even eliminate an item or two. Muscle Maker can possibly seat up a big crowd. Has a combination of blacks, reds, whites design with ceiling pipes almost running towards the back. There's a good view of the prep station (from what I saw). I ordered up front- though not sure if there's any other way. Since I decided on getting rid of the chicken in my option, these guys made me a decent Asian Ginger (Iceberg Base) Salad without that protein and then I added sautéed Mushrooms. And boy... it was incredibly juicy and tasty. Price was fair for the fresh ingredients- even the fresh mushrooms used. Plus service was super chill from my homeboy- even telling me they have Shrimp and Tilapia options last minute....you know I'm gonna hit this place up again.

Get your strength up!

Muscle Maker has been one of my go to spots for a few years now and somehow this review managed to slip through the cracks so to speak. Eat Good. Feel Good. Is the MMG's motto and they live up to it. With made to order meals using fresh waistline friendly ingredients. There hasn't been an item on the menu that I've tried and wasn't pleased with. Each meal will run you on average about $10 and since they are made to order you will have to wait. A well worth it wait btw. This location is spacious, clean and has a nice staff. They even have a fitness studio at the back where classes are held weekly @ a nominal fee. Of all the locations I've been to by far this is one of my favs. They offer delivery, however because of popularity there can be a wait. If you know what you want I recommend calling it in and the doing a drive-by self pick-up. Just A Note: Sadly but respected they are closed on Sundays.

Arizona vegan meal - lol look at all the bacon

When I called I was told that the Arizona bike would be the easiest to make vegan. They would take out the bacon and add more vegetables and vegan burger meat. I was looking forward to this for my lunch - so disappointed the meal came with bacon.

Rocky Balboa Wrap $15. Rock solid, dry and old meatballs. No marinara sauce and dry, burnt grilled chicken. Uneditable and thrown away !!!

Hello I don't usually give reviews about food but this one will help others to avoid this Muscle Maker. I just received 2 Rocky Balboa wraps which consist of meatballs, grilled chicken and marinara sauce. The meatball was rock solid and the grilled chicken was very dry. To top it off they forgot to put the marinara sauce on it. I was trying to call them to complain and no one answered the phone and voicemail box was full. So now the wraps are in the garbage and I'm out 30 bucks for 2 of them. Beware of this restaurant. VERY POOR CUSTOMERS SERVICE.

Keto Buffalo with chicken

Looked up keto on uner eats and came across this gem that had a specific keto section. I was so pleased because I recently started dipping my toe in the keto world. After looking through the menu I settled on the spinach Caesar wrap with mixed veg and the keto Buffalo plate with chicken. I really enjoyed the keto plate and the spinach wrap was good. I also ordered the signature sauce on the side and that was tasty. Definitely a fan and if im in the area again I will definitely return.

Very disappointing, this was included in my meal plan. This is a Caesar salad. Looks like they ran out of lettuce. Same with all my other meals they skimped out.

Dry overcooked chicken and not so fresh iceberg lettuce

Trying to eat healthy in the Bronx...with this said MMG has some Keto friendly options. I ordered from grub hub---the Keto Hollywood Salad. Nothing wow--iceberg lettuce, some spinach, DRY and Burnt grilled chicken with turkey bacon and melted cheddar cheese, with sauce on the side. It's your basic salad, wish the chicken was cooked correctly.

I'm also happy to report that their happy hour, though still in its early stages, is shaping up to be a solid way to give them a try. We ordered the mussels frites, fish sliders, crab bites, Brussels sprouts, and the pretzel with cheese. The absolute standouts were the fish sliders and the mussels in wine sauce. We usually get the fish and chips and mussels from the regular menu, so we had a feeling these would be the winners and they were. I'd 100% recommend both plates. We ended up ordering two rounds of fish sliders so that should say it all! :) The Brussels sprouts were roasted and simply prepared, which I really appreciated. I'm honestly over seeing fried Brussels on every menu, they're rarely that good and oily. If I could tweak anything, I'd add a sauce or drizzle for a little extra dimension, maybe balsamic or a sweet chili dip. Still, I'd absolutely order them again; they make for a great, lighter snack or side. The pretzel was pretty standard, but I liked that it didn't come salted since the cheese sauce has plenty of seasoning. It came out piping hot and stayed that way until the very last bite.  The crab bites were just okay for me. The sauce they come with is tasty, but I wish there was a little more flavor mixed into the crab itself, maybe some onions, peppers or herbs. However, they're not bad at all; they're full of crab meat and overall really solid. If you prefer a simpler flavor profile, you'll probably love them, especially with a squeeze of fresh lemon. We genuinely love Dakota's, and we'll keep coming back to enjoy the views and the great service. It's been nice seeing them evolve into a true neighborhood staple with all the events they've been hosting. Right now they're even running a toy drive, and they have toys available on site that you can purchase and drop directly into the donation box. Such a clever and thoughtful touch.  It's also worth mentioning that they're in full holiday mode right now, with decorations throughout the space. Whether you just want to soak up the festive atmosphere or snap a cute picture by the tree, they've got you covered.

Paddy's On the Bay - This was a special. For 22 Dollars it was not worth it to me. The potato skins seemed homemade and worth it. I would get those

We continued frequenting this spot even after new ownership as the location is ideal for the area. We've all had so many cool memories here. Hanging with friends and family, NFL Football Sunday's, St. Patrick's Day after parties. Summer Weekend Afternoon Live Music. Unfortunately Covid put a kibosh on most things and calmed the activities down somewhat. Despite the calmed down atmosphere this spot is still one of our go-to's for the occasional drink. As for the food itself, it always seemed basic and not on par with food options from back in the day. It's apparent that improvements on food are trying to be made, so good luck to them on improving. As for the staff, never any issues there, they've always been on point. Some are longtime employees, so you get to know them over the years. Despite some things here and there we are glad that you remain an ol' faithful in our Neck of the woods. 3.5

I would classify the food as typical bar fare with an occasional special that can be a hit or miss. Personally I am a person who find certain meat and textures off putting so I tend to enjoy more lean proteins. The pork chop in mushroom sauce special wasn't something I'd order again because I found that it had many things running through the meat. The mushroom sauce and tortellini were great and I enjoyed them very much. The Fishermans platter was also a special and I found that the fish was really dry but the shrimp and clam strips were tasty and easy to eat. I love the side salads they offer with dinner because they are plentiful and full of fresh vibrant vegetables. The balsamic is also good. Anytime I see they have mussels on the menu, I usually order them. The mussels (for the most part) are clean and not sandy. The sauces are always tasty and they serve it with some bread which is great to get all the sauce! This review is more of a 3.5 because I cant say they have amazing food but it is great food for drinks and for a casual night out. I wouldn't get too experimental on food but I do love this neighborhood staple. The view of the bridge and water aren't bad either. The staff is always quick and generally nice.

I got fried chicken wings and pork fried rice-- a staple and a great barometer. The chicken was fried to perfection and looked good to the eye, the crunch was excellent, but the flavor was no where to be found. Zero seasoning. Is this how it is all the time, or was this a glitch?? Sadly, I will never know because this was a one and done. The rice was good, it saved the day. They also leave the sauces out for you to take as many as you need--maybe I should have taken that as a hint.

The food was done within 15-20 minutes and we loved everything we ordered. Everything tasted authentically Cantonese, not spiced or super flavorful. Just your basic, comfort food. Exactly what we needed on our drive home. This place is located in an okay neighborhood area, but we didn't have time to sit down and eat. There's limited seating. We saw a lot of people waiting for takeout. The food was so hot and tasty when we picked it up. We got: BEEF TERIYAKI STICKS So tasty, cooked well with a slight char to it and seasoned enough to give it flavor, but nothing overwhelming. CRAB RANGOON These were so crispy and creamy, so freaking good with lots of crab and cream cheese with every bite. FRIED CHICKEN WINGS These chicken wings were GOOOOD! Perfectly fried crispy outside and juicy chicken inside. The flavoring of the outside was very flavorful and made every bite so satisfying. Wish we got an additional order! SAUTÉED STRING BEANS This is a comfort food for me, just your basic green beans sautéed in super light soy sauce and garlic. YUMMMM! BEEF CHOW FUN Another comfort food of stir fried beef and bean sprouts. So tasty and the rice noodles were perfectly fried and chewy. PORK FRIED RICE This pork fried rice was super tasty, but different. The rice was more pilaf which I absolutely loved and there was so much barbecued pork in it. Wasn't saturated in soy sauce which is how it normally comes, a really light and tasty fried rice. HOT & SOUR SOUP I love hot and sour soup and this was sooo good. It wasn't too sour, flavored and spiced just enough to check all the boxes and left me wanting another bowl full! Spent over $50 and got a free 2-Liter soda too! Will definitely stop by this place again on my future drives through or to NY!!!
