Burger was $10 for a baby patty. Shoulda just went to Wendy's and at least I would have been full. The sweet potato fries were decent.

The lunatic burger is way better than any burger you ever tasted. Their wings and chicken nuggets is good too.

We walked into a bright, clean, and energetic space with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. The dining room has a casual, functional energy, the kind of place where the focus stays on getting a satisfying meal rather than lingering, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency to the process. We went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing we have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during our visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

The decor is so cute and I love how each canes location has decor relating to the local area. The first box combo comes with 4 tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. You can swap out the Cole slaw with more Texas toast or fries. I love how filling it is and when we got the fries, it was so crispy and fresh. The chicken was a good texture, but I you definitely need to eat it with the canes sauce to get flavor from it.

Being…read morefrom California, I definitely missed the Mexican food scene, so I wanted to try Taqueria Tlaxcalli to taste a bite of home. When we entered, we were greeted with kind smiles from the ladies and they welcomed us to sit at any free table. Inside has lots of decor with ample seating. We sat and a server grabbed us menus. We got a carnitas burrito, grilled cactus side, horchata, and strawberry limeade (per her recommendation). Everything came so fast, and they even split the burrito for us! Oh my god, everything was so good. This has to be one of the BEST burritos I have ever had, comparable to the ones in San Diego. I love carnitas, and they do it so well here. It was tender, flavorful, just the perfect amount of sauce and seasoning! And the horchata was the best I have ever had too! The strawberry limeade was refreshing, and the grilled cactus was good! It was my first time trying it and it reminded me of aloe vera/okra texture. I had such a great time, such a great experience, I will definitely be back!

They have options for dining in or taking out and were quite efficient We went with a burrito and a few tacos - the burrito is massive, I would say it's meant for two people at once and filled with rice, meat, vegetables, thick flour tortilla and covered with different sauces - it is very heavy! The tacos are Mexican-style with meat and vegetarian options and were simply delicious. The meats we got - carnitas, steak, chicken were all cooked great with tender juiciness. They gave ample lime and sauces to pair as needed. Prices felt reasonable. Overall taqueria tlaxcalli had exceptional Mexican food for NYC with very good hospitality and dining options and I highly recommend! The tacos were a tier above my favorite NYC tacos - Santos, Los tacos no 1 and carnitas Ramirez.

Of course, I have heard of Smashburger brand name but did not patronize due to the inopportunity to travel and the time. All in all, burgers are not my favorite food. However, I have a strong predilection for Jackson Hole burgers for their intense juiciness and flavor when holding it in your hand for a bite - never dry. With an open mind, I entered without any preexisting judgment for burgers or any brand name, chain restaurants burgers image or quality but a focused lunch for enjoyment. We decided to dine in for our lunch away from the constant stream of work related interruptions calling my name for assistance and frivolous inquiries to fully enjoy our meal. It took nearly twenty minutes - too long for our food to arrive. This Smashburger location sits in Kingsbridge, Bronx in a small shopping complex adjacent to businesses AT&T, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Dunkin', Buffalo Wild Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Baskin-Robbins. There is also a small parking lot for these businesses. It is very accessible via MTA NYC Transit 1 local train at 238th Street subway station. I did received my sales receipt. At the bottom of the sales receipt contains the bathroom access code. This bathroom code is time sensitive and changes days later. Double Classic Smash $9.99 (2 orders) Two certified Angus beef, with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, ketchup, butter toasted bun. The bun was nice and fluffy, but it was not buttery in taste. I have a strong predilection for brioche bread. There were no "Smash sauce" included as I had to add a lot of ketchup for flavor to taste, but the red onions and pickles were good. The lettuce was fresh and a generous large portion covering the entire burger. The beef was average although certainly above average than the standard McDonald's proceeded meat. My colleague/friend ordered the Scorchin' hot fries $4.09 which she enjoyed along with melted cheddar cheese sauce cup $4.99. I do not consume spicy hot food in any format. Surely, spicy hot foods are not my cup of tea. Fountain drink $3.29 Refillable and self-serve 20 oz. At first I selected the unsweetened black ice tea which is really unsweetened and utterly bland. I prefer hot teas that are unsweetened. The Dragon fruit was refreshing delight that it was completely sold out. We both have a big fat compliant for their beverages: why no ginger ale soda? Why are there two variations of Coke Cola (diet Coke and Zero Coke)? Ginger ale is the only type of soda that I consume which entice my interest. I have no preference for brand name ginger ale, but this is utter blatant discrimination for omission and exclusivity against ginger ale soda. Milk shakes do not entice my drink interest.
