I really wanted to try this place.. so much so that I battled Saturday traffic and trying to find street parking. I would say, the açaí is a bit pricey for the what you get, but I get it, since I'm in La Jolla. I ordered the peanut butter açaí and while the bowl was big, it was only filled halfway. Also, the gentleman who took my order could have offered a smile and a "hi." That would have come a long way. I enjoyed the space and after the long day of adventuring the açaí bowl did hit the spot, hence the good rating. Casual. Parking is via street. Please come and create your own adventure.

Fruittitude is a really cute spot in La Jolla that has boba tea, boba slushies, juices, smoothies, coffees, açaí bowls, and other food options. My husband and I stopped here because I was craving boba and it did not disappoint! I asked what their favorite flavor was and they immediately said mango so I was going to get the jasmine green tea with mango and boba. The worker then told me I could get up to three flavors which really excited me! So I got mango, pineapple, and strawberry. It was delicious, tasted fresh and refreshing, and I absolutely enjoyed it all. My husband and got mango and peach jasmine green tea with boba. He really enjoyed his as well! There was seating inside and outside but we opted for outside. They have so many different drink options that anyone going should be able to find something they would like. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in La Jolla and want some great boba tea!

Got one of their bowls - I was excited because as you can see it looks so good/ colorful! But, only the top had chicken etc - about 2/3 of it was filled with rice and lettuce. For $16 I don't think I'd get it again. And, unfortunately it made my stomach upset shortly after eating. :/ Maybe stick to their smoothies/juices or açaí bowls when visiting here.

When I don't have my acai bowls or smoothies, I really get a Fruititude! I loved this spot in La Jolla, and our acai bowl was carefully curated and fresh. I wish I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the cafe's ambiance during our trip, but I had to order to go! I only briefly explored the menu, but they offer smoothies, boba, coffee, and food options. We knew what we wanted: the Classic Acai Bowl! It consisted of freshly made acai, strawberry, banana, and hemp granola. It was aesthetically laid out well in the bowl and tasted very fresh. If I were in the area, I would return and try more menu items. Also, this is a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends, as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. I noticed a lot of people hanging around the cafe.

We were walking around Downtown La Jolla when I was craving something cold to drink. We saw a number of people walking around with yummy looking drinks, so I asked someone where they got it and they pointed us in the direction to Fruittitude. Here is what we ordered: Thai Tea: This was so good! I was hesitant to get it because it seemed like a nontraditional asian drink place. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell a good thai tea is coming just from the color. I asked for light ice, and they told me they actually don't serve this drink with ice. I love my drinks cold without ice if possible, so this was best case scenario for me. This was perfectly milky and sweet for my taste. I would for sure come back for this one! Mango Smoothie: This was the more sour tasting mango. I think it was more Kent mango flavor instead of the smaller yellow ones. It was a bit more tart than I usually like, but overall ok. The employees were nice and helped us through the menu. The only real complain I have is that there was no boba when we got there. I would have given this place 5 stars if they would have had boba for my order. If I am in the area, I will make sure to stop by again!

Visited San Diego last month and all of a sudden I started craving a smoothie, we googled smoothie place near us and this popped up. Long story short smoothie was great, service was TRASH. No acknowledgement when we walked in. My friend asked for suggestions and the girl at the register basically ignored her. I wanted to leave, friend didn't. Absolutely love the galaxy lemonade with the boba! Must get very refreshing! The vibes are great and nice to sit down and chat with friends. Service is great and reasonable. Really cute shop! This place has some thing for everyone. I particularly like the Hawaiian Punch smoothie and will drive 20 mins just for it. No other smoothie I've had at other juice places come close to how good this drink is. My son loves the Raspberry macaroons. If you want a drink less thick than a smoothies but still fruity, try the watermelon slush add strawberries.

Perfect for those moments where you are not too entirely hungry but you would like a little pick me up and a place to chill and sit. The lovelies: - Free WI-Fi! - The interior is minimalist in design but roomy enough for groups to feel cozy in. Choose to sit indoors in one of their cushioned booths or in their covered outdoor patio. - Juices are fresh and not too sweet. - MINI DESSERTS! Just big enough to statisfy and enjoy and priced nicely so you don't feel lik you just bought a designer dessert. I got the gluten-free panna cotta! I highly recommend it. - Their beverage menu is diverse but not overwhelming. My friend got taro milk tea. Boba cooked just right. I tried their oolong tea (brewed to perfection.) Come here during an evening stroll in the Cove with my fiancee and was pleasantly surprised. I work in La Jolla and have passed this place before a couple of times (seeing as it opened up only recently) but never ventured to give it a try. I'm glad we did on this evening. The place was quiet and cozy. Nice, elegant decor paired with soft, pleasant music and friendly staff. I wanted to order Thai coffee, but unfortunately they did not have it on the menu. They did have, however, Thai tea, which we promptly ordered. My fiancee ordered hers half-sweet and I order a regular; both were excellent. We then ordered three of their mini desserts, seeing as they were having a Yelp discount of "buy two, get third free." Each of the desserts was delicious, making us wish they had each one of them in a non-mini serving! :-) Overall, this was a wonderful, hidden gem. We will definitely be back for more Thai tea and desserts. And I will likely be back to try their assortment of wraps and sandwiches for lunch. read more

What a disappointment! Visiting La Jolla and enjoyed Fruittitude the last visit. I cannot say the same for this visit. Ordered two juices only to wait for other customers to be served and then told their juicer isn't working? We should have been told this before we paid, not after! Really a juice bar without a juicer? She wanted to give us a blended drink but blended is certainly not the same as juices right??? Then she can't refund our money staying she had to email her boss to refund our money??? What kind of business is this?!! I expect much better for La Jolla....I will NEVER return and based on our experience, would NOT recommend! read more

We came for the art and wine show in La Jolla and it was blistering hot outside! We decided to try Fruittitude and were very pleased! It is a cute shop located in the heart of La Jolla Village. They have a nice selection of smoothies, juices, bobas, shaved ice, coffee, baked goods and sandwiches. Most drinks are between $4-7. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. I got the very berry good smoothie which was soooooo good!! It included blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, nonfat yogurt, and honey. My sister got the acai smoothie and she said it was super tasty and refreshing. Despite how busy it was, our order took less than 4 minutes. A perfect way to cool down in San Diego! read more

Everything here is fresh. Real fruits and vegetables are behind the counter, no powders. I got the lychee slush with boba. Tastes really refreshing and the boba had a nice consistency. The slush has no yogurt while the smoothies do have non-fat yogurt. Highly recommend! read more

Their smoothies are good if you have the 45 minutes it takes them to make one. I have given them several chances and it ALWAYS takes forever to get anything from them. If you have an afternoon to burn them sure go for it but if you actually have things you need to do in a day I would try and find somewhere else. read more

One of my favorite places to stop by while my husband is working in la jolla. Great staff and great drinks. I would personally recommend the energy booster (shoutout to May a cheerful and helpful employee who recommended this) but with vanilla instead of mocha really brings out the other flavors! Super cute shop in the heart of La jolla. I got the sea salt coffee and the peanut butter acai bowl. At first i thought it was kind of pricey ($12 for both) but after i received my acai bowl i realized why! It was huge and packed with fruits (strawberries, bananas, blueberries) and also with granola! It's super filling and delicious. I was so full but at the same time I couldn't stop eating because it was so yummy!!! You also don't feel too ashamed since it's pretty healthy & good for you :P The sea salt coffee is really good too! A little slightly on the creamier side but if you like that then definitely order it! Came here with the bridal squad to refresh ourselves before we head to the hotel. Was not disappointed. The boba was exceptional; very soft and squishy. Half of us got the lemonade slush, they were perfectly blended. Passion fruit, mint strawberry and simple lemonade, A classic Thai tea and their brand new Dragon fruit smoothie were the drinks we got. If you are in the area, this place is a must!! Grabs your pals and get yourselves an Uber there if you gotta, it's that good. read more

Delicious!! So refreshing. Especially if it's a hot sunny day. Close to the La Jolla coves. Take pictures with sea lions and seals... and come here after! The Vietnamese frappe was the best I've had... the boba and watermelon slush were outstanding as well. read more

Boba in La Jolla! Ran out of Thai tea during lunch time :( But the passionfruit green tea was a great alternative on a hot summer day. I love boba and I love that there is this cute boba shop near my workplace. I got a little lost looking for it since chase bank hides it a bit. It's pretty good but I've only tried the milk tea and passion fruit green tea. As for the food I got the Guilt sandwich on sourdough and it was tasty but the bread was a bit on the harder side. read more

My pup usually doesn't like smoked turkey or unfresh meats but she liked this plain roast turkey, which means it's more likely fresh and pass her approval. The oatmeal cookies were a real treat and lived up to the hype, kind of gooey, yummy and good for you...hence oats is fiber! As a cheese aficionado, this shop is not really a cheese shop with no abundant cheese selections. The shop should just be named sandwich shop, since sandwiches and candies seem to be their cash cows. They had several kinds of chocolate, and I chose the Belgian. Then I got both of their kinds of pistachio, regular, and then chocolate covered (kind of like Dubai chocolate, I guess). The pistachio was absolutely my favorite. So creamy and delicious. The Belgian was not particularly memorable, but that's on me for not checking which chocolate was most interesting. I might get the hazelnut next time. Anyway, this hit the spot! And it's great that they let me try three flavors in a little cup, so that my treating myself was not a massive calorie bomb. Great place to have yummy gelato with lots of flavored choices, and very easy parking in La Jolla Village Square. Glad to have them in this neighborhood!

The interior was great, but they could open up the space with more seating if they took away the thick border edge around the windows. I made sure to taste a sorbet flavor, the raspberry, it had great tart flavor and not icy at all. Next time I'd try more flavors, although I wasn't sure how many was ok to taste. In the end, I ordered Pistachio Gelato on a Waffle Cone. The waffle cone was delicious and it had a slight amaretto or almond? flavor to it. It reminded me of pizzelle. The pistachio gelato was reminiscent of salted pistachios. It was fresh, smooth, and flavor was spot on. Tasted real and not artificial in any way! I really enjoyed it. However, the price was on the expensive side. They use real ingredients and make it fresh everyday which is great to hear. The cookies looked delicious in the case, the price however was not justified. The cookie is thin and the $6 price was just insane. I tried the chocolate chip one which had great dark chocolate notes. And I had the oat lace covered in chocolate with maple cream sandwiched inside. That one I was excited for but it was really disappointing. It tasted borderline burnt & the maple interior was very oily. I've had better chocolate lace cookies from Trader Joe's. Overall, I'd recommend the gelato & sorbets if you want to splurge on a dessert! They also had affogatos if that's your thing.

There are plain, everything, poppy, salt, and sesame bagels with a number of schmears, some flavors which appear to rotate. I chose the 3 bagel pack though there was a wait for the poppy so they gifted me with a 4th bagel which was nice. The poppy bagel, while incredibly messy, was uh-mazing with the scallion cream cheese. Definitely save said tub of cream cheese for later. I ate it outside at the tables, grabbing a paper plate and utensils from the front counter. The bagels were quite dense and chewy though the outer layer not as crusty until it cooled. This did make it a little annoying to cut the bagel in half to schmear the inside. My strategy to eat another bagel the next day and freeze the others after they cooled proved to be the best. I just defrosted the next bagel in the fridge the night before. This prevented them from getting rock hard, a constant complaint, as I've been told. While the amount of carbs every day would cause many to pause in this toxic carb-fearing world, to me carbs are fuel. Never ever fear the carbs and eat your bagel enamored heart out!

I was blown away at how delicious the French Toast was. The name is the "CARAMELIZED TAHITIAN VANILLA BEAN FRENCH TOAST with Fresh Blueberries or Bananas and Chantilly Cream, or a Grilled Pineapple". Jade gave away the secret ingredient to me and I was impressed. An applied Maillard reaction with brown sugar brought the French Toast a new level of yumminess. The Chantilly Cream took it over the top, not to sweet and very creamy. Yum!!! Also tried the "RASPBERRY TRUFFLE MOCHA St. George Vanilla Bean Vodka. I popped in here while having my phone fixed the next block over on Herschel. The staff were uber friendly, and very attentive.. I had the green smoothie which was very smooth and delicious. I actually drank it all before I though to snap a pic to upload for all you other yelp'ers. Also had an almond cookie to give some added crunch to my meal. I felt the smoothie was a bit over priced but hey, it is La Jolla. The shop had a good vibe as I sat on the patio and people watched. They are dog friendly, which is cool. I will have to bring my dog with me next time. Also though the flavored water was pretty darn good as well. Would have given 5 stars if the price was a little better, but all in all I would recommend and come back when in the area. read more

No coffee or expresso available 35 minutes prior to closing? Server stated the machine had been cleaned already for the day and offered me a cold press coffee instead. I watched my daughter enjoy her açai bowl wishing I had a hot coffee. They also ran out of Boba? And they told us that they didn't have any boba after getting the drink without boba. My favorite smoothie, juice, and boba place near me! I come here about 5-6 times a week. The people are friendly and super fast. They always recommend different smoothies and juices based on what in feeling that day. They also are great at adding in custom ingredients into my drinks that aren't listed.
