I really wanted to try this place.. so much so that I battled Saturday traffic and trying to find street parking. I would say, the açaí is a bit pricey for the what you get, but I get it, since I'm in La Jolla. I ordered the peanut butter açaí and while the bowl was big, it was only filled halfway. Also, the gentleman who took my order could have offered a smile and a "hi." That would have come a long way. I enjoyed the space and after the long day of adventuring the açaí bowl did hit the spot, hence the good rating. Casual. Parking is via street. Please come and create your own adventure.

Fruittitude is a really cute spot in La Jolla that has boba tea, boba slushies, juices, smoothies, coffees, açaí bowls, and other food options. My husband and I stopped here because I was craving boba and it did not disappoint! I asked what their favorite flavor was and they immediately said mango so I was going to get the jasmine green tea with mango and boba. The worker then told me I could get up to three flavors which really excited me! So I got mango, pineapple, and strawberry. It was delicious, tasted fresh and refreshing, and I absolutely enjoyed it all. My husband and got mango and peach jasmine green tea with boba. He really enjoyed his as well! There was seating inside and outside but we opted for outside. They have so many different drink options that anyone going should be able to find something they would like. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in La Jolla and want some great boba tea!

Got one of their bowls - I was excited because as you can see it looks so good/ colorful! But, only the top had chicken etc - about 2/3 of it was filled with rice and lettuce. For $16 I don't think I'd get it again. And, unfortunately it made my stomach upset shortly after eating. :/ Maybe stick to their smoothies/juices or açaí bowls when visiting here.

When I don't have my acai bowls or smoothies, I really get a Fruititude! I loved this spot in La Jolla, and our acai bowl was carefully curated and fresh. I wish I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the cafe's ambiance during our trip, but I had to order to go! I only briefly explored the menu, but they offer smoothies, boba, coffee, and food options. We knew what we wanted: the Classic Acai Bowl! It consisted of freshly made acai, strawberry, banana, and hemp granola. It was aesthetically laid out well in the bowl and tasted very fresh. If I were in the area, I would return and try more menu items. Also, this is a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends, as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. I noticed a lot of people hanging around the cafe.

We were walking around Downtown La Jolla when I was craving something cold to drink. We saw a number of people walking around with yummy looking drinks, so I asked someone where they got it and they pointed us in the direction to Fruittitude. Here is what we ordered: Thai Tea: This was so good! I was hesitant to get it because it seemed like a nontraditional asian drink place. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell a good thai tea is coming just from the color. I asked for light ice, and they told me they actually don't serve this drink with ice. I love my drinks cold without ice if possible, so this was best case scenario for me. This was perfectly milky and sweet for my taste. I would for sure come back for this one! Mango Smoothie: This was the more sour tasting mango. I think it was more Kent mango flavor instead of the smaller yellow ones. It was a bit more tart than I usually like, but overall ok. The employees were nice and helped us through the menu. The only real complain I have is that there was no boba when we got there. I would have given this place 5 stars if they would have had boba for my order. If I am in the area, I will make sure to stop by again!

Visited San Diego last month and all of a sudden I started craving a smoothie, we googled smoothie place near us and this popped up. Long story short smoothie was great, service was TRASH. No acknowledgement when we walked in. My friend asked for suggestions and the girl at the register basically ignored her. I wanted to leave, friend didn't. Absolutely love the galaxy lemonade with the boba! Must get very refreshing! The vibes are great and nice to sit down and chat with friends. Service is great and reasonable. Really cute shop! This place has some thing for everyone. I particularly like the Hawaiian Punch smoothie and will drive 20 mins just for it. No other smoothie I've had at other juice places come close to how good this drink is. My son loves the Raspberry macaroons. If you want a drink less thick than a smoothies but still fruity, try the watermelon slush add strawberries.

Both my sister and I ordered milk green tea boba-- and both of ours tasted very watered down... The place itself is nicely designed and provide quick, friendly service, though. Maybe it was just our batch that was bad, because it seemed to be fairly popular, but consistency is important in food service. read more

We got the green mango juice and classic acai bowl. Very quick service and the juice and bowl were great. The green mango juice had just the right amount of ginger, so it wasn't overpowering at all. The acai bowl had a decent amount of fruit as well and it wasn't too sweet. Would definitely come again. Located in a good spot in downtown La Jolla. They have very good açaí bowls and the boba is pretty good too. Mine came out a bit warm, but after a little bit the ice cubes cooled it down and it was delicious. I would recommend the taro with boba. I also had a macaroon and it was very delicious. They had plenty of seating outside and there are some benches on the side walk nearby as well read more

I've been here before and the first time was great. However, the second and most recent time I visited, my experience wasn't as great. It felt like the workers weren't that attentive and would rather spend their time just talking to each other behind the counter. I ordered an Acai bowl and a Mango Jasmine Tea. The Acai bowl was pretty okay, they add a lot of fruits. However, the Mango Jasmine Tea was pretty bad. I just tasted like a lot of syrup? I'm not sure.. and I was not liking the aftertaste. I ordered the boba Thai milk tea. The boba was really fresh. The girls working were a bit strange. I think they may be going through some hormonal changes. I kept hearing them randomly screeching loudly, fake crying, and one even walked into a room and screamed at the top of their lungs. Quite an interesting set of gals. Quite entertaining? read more

Very nice macchiato and refreshing strawberry watermelon boba slush. My girlfriend is from the Bay Area and was very impressed by it! Comfy seating area and nice relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back. Everything is fresh, you can see the employees making everything right in front of you. Came and ordered a coffee milk tea then alerted the barista that I had a peanut allergy and to take appropriate precautions. Her response was "well if it's that severe we can't serve you". I understand the right to refuse service but her approach was beyond abrasive. Good intentions on her part, terrible execution. Customer service is an art. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

Went over to this spot after my hike at Ho Chi Minh Trail. They have a pretty wide selection of food &drinks. They even have boba drinks! Service was sllllloooooowwwwwww though because there were only two of them and it got a little busy after we came in. My orders: Acai Bowl: Simple acai bowl with strawberries and banana on top. I topped it with a little drizzle of honey(available on the counter along with many condiments). Chicken Pesto &Turkey Bacon sandwich: I substituted the mustard/ranch for pesto and it was delish! Sadly they were out of sourdough bread so I ended up getting their multi grain? Prices are a lil expensive than others, but it is La Jolla. I don't mind going back if I am in the area, but I would not go out of my way to come here. read more

After hanging out at the beach, we figured it would be great to have some drinks before we call a Lyft to take us home in downtown. We saw this on Yelp, and decided, 'Why not?' It wasn't a long walk from the beach but since it was hot, every step felt like eternity. Nonetheless, we got there and were greeted by two employees who mostly talked amongst themselves. There was something about them. The weren't friendly, but they weren't aggravated either. I guess they just wanted to get on with them without any customers to bother them. Without any kinds of suggestions, we stood there waiting to make a selection while an employee stood there waiting for us. I'm not a fan when they do that. I feel a tad bit rushed. Nonetheless, I got a fresh watermelon juice which was so refreshing especially in the middle of the afternoon! It wasn't too sweet and it really relied on the fresh taste of the watermelon to speak for itself. Well done. read more

If you're craving for that cool, fruity anything after a walk around LJ downtown, this is the spot. Cozy and inviting, Fruittitude boasts a menu full of fruity drinks and desserts too while you're at it. I ordered Hawaiian Punch smoothie without juice and it was sweet and refreshing. I wish it was a little less sweet but that's because I had been avoiding sweets for a while probably. My sister had the watermelon cooler and really enjoyed it. Their seating areas are quite comfy and guess what, they have free WiFi! I saw many folks just hanging out on their laptops and phones phubbing about. Great little spot for resting before checking out that gorgeous sunset at La Jolla Cove. read more

I settled on the tgy family milk tea which is tieguanyin milk tea with pudding, boba, and coffee jelly. I love the tieguanyin milk tea at TP Tea, the flavor is so strong, fragrant, and yummy. I did want a sweater treat than what I usually get so I opted for the 30% sugar as opposed to my normal 0 or 15% sugar. This was a big mistake on my part, especially since I didn't take into account that 3 toppings would already make the drink way sweeter than usual. Next time I'd definitely opt for 0 sugar if I'm getting that many toppings haha. Still a solid spot regardless! They have tables inside too, and service is pretty quick :)

Place is deceivingly small - there are a bunch of seating - I wouldn't go in with a large group but definitely places to sit, chat or work on your laptop (saw several students? hammering away on their laptop keyboard). Not sure, but maybe they also offer WIFI.? Drinks seems watered down in my opinion. And I've ordered the same drinks at other locations and either the ingredients were off or it was prepared differently that didn't quite align to my expectations and taste. However, place was busy so maybe it's just how it's served as business was steady and I saw a few order the same as what I got. I usually order light ice and 50-75% sugar. The special boba milk tea was sweet and tasty, and the boba itself was semi-sweet, but the tea didn't taste especially fresh. The jasmine milk tea, on the other hand, was more subtle in sweetness and tasted noticeably fresher and cleaner. One thing I did notice was inconsistency in the boba texture--some pearls were quite firm while others were very soft--which made it feel like there may have been a mix of freshness levels. Overall, pretty good tea, but a bit of a mixed experience when it comes to ingredient freshness and consistency.

The pistachio was absolutely my favorite. So creamy and delicious. The Belgian was not particularly memorable, but that's on me for not checking which chocolate was most interesting. I might get the hazelnut next time. Anyway, this hit the spot! And it's great that they let me try three flavors in a little cup, so that my treating myself was not a massive calorie bomb. However, the price was on the expensive side. They use real ingredients and make it fresh everyday which is great to hear. The cookies looked delicious in the case, the price however was not justified. The cookie is thin and the $6 price was just insane. I tried the chocolate chip one which had great dark chocolate notes. And I had the oat lace covered in chocolate with maple cream sandwiched inside. That one I was excited for but it was really disappointing. It tasted borderline burnt & the maple interior was very oily. I've had better chocolate lace cookies from Trader Joe's. Overall, I'd recommend the gelato & sorbets if you want to splurge on a dessert! They also had affogatos if that's your thing.

I chose the 3 bagel pack though there was a wait for the poppy so they gifted me with a 4th bagel which was nice. The poppy bagel, while incredibly messy, was uh-mazing with the scallion cream cheese. Definitely save said tub of cream cheese for later. I ate it outside at the tables, grabbing a paper plate and utensils from the front counter. The bagels were quite dense and chewy though the outer layer not as crusty until it cooled. This did make it a little annoying to cut the bagel in half to schmear the inside. My strategy to eat another bagel the next day and freeze the others after they cooled proved to be the best. I just defrosted the next bagel in the fridge the night before. This prevented them from getting rock hard, a constant complaint, as I've been told. While the amount of carbs every day would cause many to pause in this toxic carb-fearing world, to me carbs are fuel. Never ever fear the carbs and eat your bagel enamored heart out!

I popped in here while having my phone fixed the next block over on Herschel. The staff were uber friendly, and very attentive.. I had the green smoothie which was very smooth and delicious. I actually drank it all before I though to snap a pic to upload for all you other yelp'ers. Also had an almond cookie to give some added crunch to my meal. I felt the smoothie was a bit over priced but hey, it is La Jolla. The shop had a good vibe as I sat on the patio and people watched. They are dog friendly, which is cool. I will have to bring my dog with me next time. Also though the flavored water was pretty darn good as well. They always recommend different smoothies and juices based on what in feeling that day. They also are great at adding in custom ingredients into my drinks that aren't listed.
