I came here craving a nice, refreshing smoothie on a hot summer day. The cafe is cute and the flavors, but only one of our drinks was cold, which was super odd since both drinks were under the same section of the menu! The Green Mango power smoothie tasted really fresh, but came out room temperature. I totally get that the fruit and greens might be fresh, never frozen (great in theory). However, I would at least expect the homemade mango juice to be chilled and/or ice to be added to make the drink a little cool at $10. We still LOVED the energy booster. It leans heavier on peanut butter flavor than chocolate or espresso, but it's fantastic, filling, and, of course, refreshing thanks to the ~chilled~ almond milk. Love the quality overall, even though it might not be my go-to when the heat is killer! read more

This is a wonderful hidden gem. It's easy to miss because they do not have a giant sign outside but they have the freshest ingredients! Their smoothies and juices are top tier. My go to is the energy booster. It's a smoothie with dark chocolate, peanut butter, banana, espresso, and almond milk! It's to die for! The dragon fruit power smoothie is amazing as well. You can't go wrong with anything here. read more

I really wanted to try this place.. so much so that I battled Saturday traffic and trying to find street parking. I would say, the açaí is a bit pricey for the what you get, but I get it, since I'm in La Jolla. I ordered the peanut butter açaí and while the bowl was big, it was only filled halfway. Also, the gentleman who took my order could have offered a smile and a "hi." That would have come a long way. I enjoyed the space and after the long day of adventuring the açaí bowl did hit the spot, hence the good rating. Casual. Parking is via street. Please come and create your own adventure. read more

Fruittitude is a really cute spot in La Jolla that has boba tea, boba slushies, juices, smoothies, coffees, açaí bowls, and other food options. My husband and I stopped here because I was craving boba and it did not disappoint! I asked what their favorite flavor was and they immediately said mango so I was going to get the jasmine green tea with mango and boba. The worker then told me I could get up to three flavors which really excited me! So I got mango, pineapple, and strawberry. It was delicious, tasted fresh and refreshing, and I absolutely enjoyed it all. My husband and got mango and peach jasmine green tea with boba. He really enjoyed his as well! There was seating inside and outside but we opted for outside. They have so many different drink options that anyone going should be able to find something they would like. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in La Jolla and want some great boba tea! read more

Got one of their bowls - I was excited because as you can see it looks so good/ colorful! But, only the top had chicken etc - about 2/3 of it was filled with rice and lettuce. For $16 I don't think I'd get it again. And, unfortunately it made my stomach upset shortly after eating. :/ Maybe stick to their smoothies/juices or açaí bowls when visiting here. read more

When I don't have my acai bowls or smoothies, I really get a Fruititude! I loved this spot in La Jolla, and our acai bowl was carefully curated and fresh. I wish I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the cafe's ambiance during our trip, but I had to order to go! I only briefly explored the menu, but they offer smoothies, boba, coffee, and food options. We knew what we wanted: the Classic Acai Bowl! It consisted of freshly made acai, strawberry, banana, and hemp granola. It was aesthetically laid out well in the bowl and tasted very fresh. If I were in the area, I would return and try more menu items. Also, this is a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends, as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. We were walking around Downtown La Jolla when I was craving something cold to drink. We saw a number of people walking around with yummy looking drinks, so I asked someone where they got it and they pointed us in the direction to Fruittitude. Here is what we ordered: Thai Tea: This was so good! I was hesitant to get it because it seemed like a nontraditional asian drink place. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell a good thai tea is coming just from the color. I asked for light ice, and they told me they actually don't serve this drink with ice. I love my drinks cold without ice if possible, so this was best case scenario for me. This was perfectly milky and sweet for my taste. I would for sure come back for this one! Mango Smoothie: This was the more sour tasting mango. I think it was more Kent mango flavor instead of the smaller yellow ones. It was a bit more tart than I usually like, but overall ok. The employees were nice and helped us through the menu. The only real complain I have is that there was no boba when we got there. I would have given this place 5 stars if they would have had boba for my order. If I am in the area, I will make sure to stop by again! read more

Visited San Diego last month and all of a sudden I started craving a smoothie, we googled smoothie place near us and this popped up. Long story short smoothie was great, service was TRASH. No acknowledgement when we walked in. My friend asked for suggestions and the girl at the register basically ignored her. I wanted to leave, friend didn't. I want to love this place, and I still go for the Acia bowls, which are very yummy despite the sometimes underripe fruit. Unfortunately the bad outweighs the good. The service is pretty bad, all frowns and no acknowledgment when you come in. They literally just stare at you, and it almost feels like they're angry you're there. I've also noticed that they put in about half as much Acia as they used to (same high price, though). I also hope that they upgrade their website to be able to make more adjustments when ordering pick-up. Right now they suggest using Uber Eats or Door Dash for this. Unfortunately, even though it says these services are "free", the cost of the product is more. I hate wasting but I end up just throwing away what I don't want rather than paying more for them to put on less items. A few small changes would go a long way at this place! read more

Absolutely love the galaxy lemonade with the boba! Must get very refreshing! The vibes are great and nice to sit down and chat with friends. Service is great and reasonable. Really cute shop! This place has some thing for everyone. I particularly like the Hawaiian Punch smoothie and will drive 20 mins just for it. No other smoothie I've had at other juice places come close to how good this drink is. My son loves the Raspberry macaroons. If you want a drink less thick than a smoothies but still fruity, try the watermelon slush add strawberries. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch straight from the airport. We were helped immediately, and the staff was really friendly. We split two Classic Açaí bowls, and honestly you learn why they cost $15. They freshly grind the açaí, then add the beautiful strawberries and bananas that they cut right in front of you. The granola is also great. As an added bonus, their bathroom is immaculate, which was amazing since all 3 kiddos needed to use it. read more

What a cute, fun place! The vibes are phenomenal and it's so fun that there's outdoor seating. I was surprised by how long it took for them to make our one drink, but I also have to take into consideration that there were online orders coming in as well. I wasn't blown away by the service but I appreciate that they helped me narrow down what would be good for my kids, even if they seemed rushed. Over all, this was a really fun treat for my kids. They still talk about getting Boba in California and those mango boba were delicious! read more

I really want to like this business but the servers are rude, the prices are ridiculously high and often if we arrive within an hour of their closing time they state that they cannot make our order in time or they are out of boba. Convenient location, street parking. Cozy little spot that sells organic fresh juice options as well as teas and fruit bowls. I think it's a nice spot to relax for a moment after shopping around. 3.5 stars I felt dehydrated so I decided to get a smoothie. We ordered one smoothie for $7 and it took 15 minutes for it to be ready. And there was a rancid smell in the seating area. The smell was so gross and nearby where you can dispense water for yourself. It didn't smell from the trash can, so I was very concerned where the smell was coming from. Despite the slow service and gross smell, the smoothie was good. But considering everything, I probably wouldn't come here again. read more

The class gave us a really deep stretch and left me feeling relaxed and refreshed in a way I wasn't expecting. The space also has a big yoga dome right next door and a restaurant serving up a great selection of healthy food, which is a nice bonus before or after class. Just a couple things to keep in mind: parking can get tricky so give yourself extra time, and spots in the class fill up fast so make sure to book ahead. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a workout that's fun, unique and actually feels good for your body!

Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. The granola was crunchy and the add-on nut butter ($1.50) was plentiful and contrasted well to the fruits. You get some finely diced strawberries and bananas that were just the right amount of ripe, the bananas a little more firm but definitely preferred with the bases. And of course with all these tik tok famous places the price was inflated. Based on taste alone I could have given this place 4 starts but the extra tik tok tax(inflated price just for being TikTok trendy) and extra wait time for the exact same thing you can get anywhere else rubbed me wrong so I'm going to have to leave this 3 star right here.

What do you know I was able to find parking in La Jolla easily. It just so happened I turned on Fay Street which is another busy street in La Jolla, and someone was backing out of their parking spot, so it was meant to be. I walked a short distance to Kline street which was the cross street of where "Blue Whale" is located. At first, I felt like I was not going to try it here because of the line of people and people everywhere outside and a long line inside the place. I decided to wait because I did not know when I would be back. When walking in, the vibe is cute, casual, and beach themed. The music is energizing and happy too. I placed my order with a friendly cashier and told her I wanted it to go because all the tables outside and inside were filled. But, someone was getting up from their table and I quickly walked over to snag the table inside. I had a cute, small table up against a window. Again, another sign I should try it. I ordered a sugar-free latte and avocado toast with an egg on top for added protein. Guess what, my food arrived in five minutes. Shannon, the manager brought it to me. I was so impressed how fast the service was and the friendliness here being so busy! She runs this place so professionally and efficiently. She is super friendly also! The rest of the staff the cashier, waitresses and waiters were also accommodating, friendly, and helpful too! Shoutout and Kudos to the chefs who create such deliciousness with the food. And, kudos to the baristas also who make such flavorful drinks. You all ROCK! The avocado toast with egg was incredible! So artistic with the presentation and the flavor was pit of this world DIVINE! The coffee was superb! I i understand the hype here! They deserve more than 5 stars! Whether you are a local or visitor, "Blue Whale" is a must! Even if you end up getting through the line to order, there doesn't seem to be a guarantee that there will be a table for you as seating was relatively limited. I ended up getting a to-go order since I didn't want to wait in line, but was a bit disappointed in the food given the hype. The California burrito was good but could have been more flavorful and the fries could've been crispier, and the mango sticky rice matcha was great in concept but the matcha flavor could've been stronger in execution.

It was pretty crowded when we went Saturday morning for brunch. Mainly an outdoor seating area with covered sections and some couches. The service is pretty quick though! Even though it's more than I'd usually pay for a simple meal I know it's the La Jolla cost so we decided why not. It's a yummy sandwich and the smoothie is pretty sweet but very yummy with chunks of the dragon fruit and mango coming through the straw. Overall a pretty spot but wouldn't consider coming up just for it. Glad to try!

It's superrr aesthetic and is reeling in all the chill coastal vibes. We opted for an Iced Frothy Coffee Latte. It was solid- decently strong and super creamy! A nice sip as we perused this adorable store and the surrounding neighborhood of Bird Rock.
