3.5 stars I felt dehydrated so I decided to get a smoothie. We ordered one smoothie for $7 and it took 15 minutes for it to be ready. And there was a rancid smell in the seating area. The smell was so gross and nearby where you can dispense water for yourself. It didn't smell from the trash can, so I was very concerned where the smell was coming from. I came here while waiting for some takeout out and I was craving boba. I got the green tea and I was pleasantly surprised that I could choose a couple of flavors. I got the mango and coconut with boba so good. The slush taro with boba was rich and creamy and sweet yet not too sweet. The sizes for medium are perfect as well. The staff were also very friendly and helpful as well. It's definitely a great refreshing treat on a nice sunny day. Update: Got a couple of macaroons as well, coconut and I believe fig. The Green Mango smoothie is packed full of fresh mango, kale, ginger, and homemade mango juice. It is absolutely delicious. The interior of this place is an added bonus. It's so cute and gives you a comfy and cozy place to relax and enjoy your favorite smoothie, boba, or fresh pressed juice. They also have small bites and tasty snacks! The exterior is a cute covered patio with tables and small potted plants so you can take in the back streets of La Jolla! A very cute and festively decorated spot in La Jolla! The place is very clean and there is both seating inside and outside. Inside has cushions and pillows and is very cozy to enjoy a drink and light snack. The boba was very chewy and added a nice touch to the banana strawberry fruit smoothie. My pina colada slush was blended all the way and no chunks! I was pleased! We also ordered a chocolate croissant and the cashier was able to warm it up. I like places that are unassuming but do what they do well. That's what you'll get here. I was in the area that day on a job and had to stop by Chase. Saw their menu board and was intrigued. I ordered a pineapple peach slushie with tapioca. I wasn't necessarily expecting much, but you know it's going to be good when, unlike every other boba place, they start reaching for the real fruit. And yeah, basically, it was really good. I think they can do it because they have a smoothie business as well, but I recommend trying their boba if you get a chance. It was a cute place too. Very clean, which is kind of what I really care about. I mean, they are fairly open, but if the outside spaces aren't clean, the kitchen isn't great. This place was spotless. They have this cute light too, which I probably should have asked where it's from. I will definitely be back if I am in the area. The smoothies here are pretty bad (I had the fruit punch one), I think the issue is that they use room temp fruit and then add ice, instead of freezing their fruit, so the texture is extremely odd--it tastes like bits of ice and unblended fruit and I almost had to chew the smoothie. It was somehow not that flavorful too despite smoothies being easy to make (I think that the smoothies I make at home with only fruit in my magic bullet are much better lol, which is unfortunate). The ambiance of the shop is kind of stuffy too and I felt uncomfortable there for whatever reason (it didn't feel welcoming to me), but it was clean which was nice. I wouldn't recommend getting a smoothie here but maybe their other items are better read more

Food alone, this place does deserve five stars. The fruit was fresh and plentiful. The cost was a bit steep but I liked the honesty from the guy who took my order.
