I came here craving a nice, refreshing smoothie on a hot summer day. The cafe is cute and the flavors, but only one of our drinks was cold, which was super odd since both drinks were under the same section of the menu! The Green Mango power smoothie tasted really fresh, but came out room temperature. I totally get that the fruit and greens might be fresh, never frozen (great in theory). However, I would at least expect the homemade mango juice to be chilled and/or ice to be added to make the drink a little cool at $10. We still LOVED the energy booster. It leans heavier on peanut butter flavor than chocolate or espresso, but it's fantastic, filling, and, of course, refreshing thanks to the ~chilled~ almond milk. Love the quality overall, even though it might not be my go-to when the heat is killer!

I really wanted to try this place.. so much so that I battled Saturday traffic and trying to find street parking. I would say, the açaí is a bit pricey for the what you get, but I get it, since I'm in La Jolla. I ordered the peanut butter açaí and while the bowl was big, it was only filled halfway. Also, the gentleman who took my order could have offered a smile and a "hi." That would have come a long way. I enjoyed the space and after the long day of adventuring the açaí bowl did hit the spot, hence the good rating. Casual. Parking is via street. Please come and create your own adventure.

Fruittitude is a really cute spot in La Jolla that has boba tea, boba slushies, juices, smoothies, coffees, açaí bowls, and other food options. My husband and I stopped here because I was craving boba and it did not disappoint! I asked what their favorite flavor was and they immediately said mango so I was going to get the jasmine green tea with mango and boba. The worker then told me I could get up to three flavors which really excited me! So I got mango, pineapple, and strawberry. It was delicious, tasted fresh and refreshing, and I absolutely enjoyed it all. My husband and got mango and peach jasmine green tea with boba. He really enjoyed his as well! There was seating inside and outside but we opted for outside. They have so many different drink options that anyone going should be able to find something they would like. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in La Jolla and want some great boba tea!

Got one of their bowls - I was excited because as you can see it looks so good/ colorful! But, only the top had chicken etc - about 2/3 of it was filled with rice and lettuce. For $16 I don't think I'd get it again. And, unfortunately it made my stomach upset shortly after eating. :/ Maybe stick to their smoothies/juices or açaí bowls when visiting here.

When I don't have my acai bowls or smoothies, I really get a Fruititude! I loved this spot in La Jolla, and our acai bowl was carefully curated and fresh. I wish I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the cafe's ambiance during our trip, but I had to order to go! I only briefly explored the menu, but they offer smoothies, boba, coffee, and food options. We knew what we wanted: the Classic Acai Bowl! It consisted of freshly made acai, strawberry, banana, and hemp granola. It was aesthetically laid out well in the bowl and tasted very fresh. If I were in the area, I would return and try more menu items. Also, this is a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends, as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. I noticed a lot of people hanging around the cafe.

We were walking around Downtown La Jolla when I was craving something cold to drink. We saw a number of people walking around with yummy looking drinks, so I asked someone where they got it and they pointed us in the direction to Fruittitude. Here is what we ordered: Thai Tea: This was so good! I was hesitant to get it because it seemed like a nontraditional asian drink place. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell a good thai tea is coming just from the color. I asked for light ice, and they told me they actually don't serve this drink with ice. I love my drinks cold without ice if possible, so this was best case scenario for me. This was perfectly milky and sweet for my taste. I would for sure come back for this one! Mango Smoothie: This was the more sour tasting mango. I think it was more Kent mango flavor instead of the smaller yellow ones. It was a bit more tart than I usually like, but overall ok. The employees were nice and helped us through the menu. The only real complain I have is that there was no boba when we got there. I would have given this place 5 stars if they would have had boba for my order. If I am in the area, I will make sure to stop by again!

Visited San Diego last month and all of a sudden I started craving a smoothie, we googled smoothie place near us and this popped up. Long story short smoothie was great, service was TRASH. Absolutely love the galaxy lemonade with the boba! Must get very refreshing! The vibes are great and nice to sit down and chat with friends. Service is great and reasonable. Really cute shop! This place has some thing for everyone. I particularly like the Hawaiian Punch smoothie and will drive 20 mins just for it. No other smoothie I've had at other juice places come close to how good this drink is. My son loves the Raspberry macaroons. If you want a drink less thick than a smoothies but still fruity, try the watermelon slush add strawberries.

Was staying in La Jolla and was craving a refreshing tea. Found Fruittude on yelp and it was real close to our hotel. I saw their menu had a variety of drinks which included tea. I saw they had jasmine tea (one of my faves) and different flavors you can add: passion fruit, honeydew, pineapple, peach, strawberry, kiwi, hibiscus, lychee, mango, and coconut. I decided to add passion fruit and peach. I didn't realize they had popping boba, till afterwards. I would of added some....next time! It was very refreshing and could taste the tea which made me happy. I had just gone the day before to a coffee/tea shop in downtown San Diego and got a jasmine tea and it barely tasted like tea. It was a waste of five dollars. So I'm glad Fruittude got it right with the tea. My husband got a watermelon slush and enjoyed it as well. They also have acai/pitaya bowls, coffee, juices, smoothies, salads, rice bowls, fruit cups, bites, and soups. I definitely want to come back to try out more of their menu items next time I visit La Jolla. read more

After a day of exploring the area, I was in the mood for a refreshing drink and was happy to see there was a boba spot nearby. Based on Yelp reviews, the drinks as well as acai bowls are really good here, so I would like to come back to try their acai bowls sometime. The girl taking my order was really nice, but the reason I had to knock this review down a star was because they were out of boba :( They also didn't have any other toppings to make up for not having any boba (such as coconut jelly, grass jelly, etc.) I was so bummed! So I ordered a taro milk tea sans the pearls. One big plus is they offer non dairy options, and I chose coconut milk which went well with the taro flavor. My drink was good, but was definitely missing the boba. I would come back to try more menu options. Hopefully they will have boba next time. read more

Covid review 15 They're very nice here! Helpful even on the phone. Clean here. I hands down recommend their watermelon drink. It's totally fresh. I saw then scooping the watermelon and putting it directly into the blender. I got their honeydew too. It was ok but nothing remarkable different than an ordinary boba place. Oh yeah, you can get boba here too. I need to try their acai bowls again soon. read more

Super cute and clean shop in La Jolla. Stopped there for a milk tea with Boba after a visit to La Jolla Cove. The tea had nice flavor but there was no option to get it with less sugar and it was extraordinarily sweet, far too much for my taste. Also, there was barely any ice in it, was lukewarm. read more

I loved my Mango Jasmine Green Tea! It was a very refreshing drink. I also added boba to my drink but the boba was on the firm side and not soft and chewy. I would still go back here and try some of the other drinks... but without the boba. read more

I found this place after craving a smoothie post sparkcycle. I usually just get one thing here which is the energy smoothie with protein powder. It's so good! It tastes chocolatey and I love the shot of espresso that's added in it to give you a boost of energy and adding protein actually goes really well with the smoothie. I've come here with my friends who have gotten fruit smoothies and they were all really good as well. The store itself is spacious and they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from (even boba). I definitely try to come here when I'm in dt La Jolla. This area is mainly all street parking, which I usually don't have much trouble with. read more

They won't accommodate changes to orders. Wanted to buy a side of strawberries or a cup but only strawberries and the owner lady said we couldn't make changes. The guy at the counter could only pass along the message. Other than that it's ok. read more

We came here for acai bowls on a Saturday afternoon. We just ordered one bowl, and had been waiting for almost half an hour. While the store had a few other customers, it wasn't full or extremely busy. We ended up asking them about our order and they forgot about it and never made it. While the bowl was alright when it was finally made, waiting that long for them to blend something together isn't acceptable, especially when they just forget or loose an order and aren't apologetic about it at all. read more

I recommend coming here if you have an extra 30 mins to burn because that is how long it took us to get our order on a slow day. Tables were open. Only 2 people were in front of us. We received attitude when we asked how people after us received their orders before us. Somehow ended up waiting that long for 2 smoothies and an açaí bowl. We got the Hawaiian fruit punch smoothie as well as the coconut açaí bowl. Both were just ok. The smoothie had little chunks of ice in it. read more

Stopped by on the way to La Jolla beach. Great concept of juices and smoothies. The variety is quite extensive, but not overwhelming. I chose a cleansing juice (you get a choice of either juice or a smoothie in the same flavor). Service was fast and efficient, and juice delicious (yes, even though it involved kale). There is a bathroom, for customers only. A bit expensive, but this is La Jolla. FYI, you get a free macaroon if you write a Yelp review, too bad I am leaving the area :( read more

Was in the area and saw the high ratings so we stopped by for a quick drink. Got the greenspiration which came out a light green in color. Watched them make the drink which is a mix of kales, apple, celery, lemon and ginger. It was mostly celery, with a tiny piece of kale, hence the light green color. Drinks and smoothies here are great I need to try the croissant next time The only thing I didn't care for was the service of only ONE of the guys( black hair Justin Bieber type hair , lighter skin) he didn't want me to claim my free macaron because they were busy. Went there today with my wife and kids. Teas were good and the boba was pretty good too. Gotta say I wasn't impressed by how long it took to make 2 frozen lemonades and 2 boba teas....they said they ran out of ice which kinda blew my mind because they weren't busy. Wow, I wouldn't think of an impressive bubble tea option in La Jolla. When I think of boba I automatically think of Convoy. Fruititude proved me wrong was and was so delightful! The green mango, espresso with matcha- with added boba, and their dragon fruit smoothie hit the spot. So nourishing and sweet was the green mango. My Flat Green was a unique combo that actually worked and was the best of both worlds, and it also clicked with boba. And the smoothie with chia pudding so filling and nourishing with the dragon fruit. The service was great, cute signage, comfy seating, and great option for dessert/drinks. read more

Place is a nice outdoor rooftop area and if there's an aerial yoga class happening, you can watch while you eat too! Street parking is pretty easy to find (we came on a Saturday around noon)

There are plain, everything, poppy, salt, and sesame bagels with a number of schmears, some flavors which appear to rotate. I chose the 3 bagel pack though there was a wait for the poppy so they gifted me with a 4th bagel which was nice. The poppy bagel, while incredibly messy, was uh-mazing with the scallion cream cheese. Definitely save said tub of cream cheese for later. I ate it outside at the tables, grabbing a paper plate and utensils from the front counter. The bagels were quite dense and chewy though the outer layer not as crusty until it cooled. This did make it a little annoying to cut the bagel in half to schmear the inside. My strategy to eat another bagel the next day and freeze the others after they cooled proved to be the best. I just defrosted the next bagel in the fridge the night before. This prevented them from getting rock hard, a constant complaint, as I've been told. While the amount of carbs every day would cause many to pause in this toxic carb-fearing world, to me carbs are fuel. Never ever fear the carbs and eat your bagel enamored heart out!

I popped in here while having my phone fixed the next block over on Herschel. The staff were uber friendly, and very attentive.. I had the green smoothie which was very smooth and delicious. I actually drank it all before I though to snap a pic to upload for all you other yelp'ers. Also had an almond cookie to give some added crunch to my meal. I felt the smoothie was a bit over priced but hey, it is La Jolla. The shop had a good vibe as I sat on the patio and people watched. They are dog friendly, which is cool. I will have to bring my dog with me next time. Also though the flavored water was pretty darn good as well. No coffee or expresso available 35 minutes prior to closing? Server stated the machine had been cleaned already for the day and offered me a cold press coffee instead. I watched my daughter enjoy her açai bowl wishing I had a hot coffee. They also ran out of Boba? And they told us that they didn't have any boba after getting the drink without boba. They always recommend different smoothies and juices based on what in feeling that day. They also are great at adding in custom ingredients into my drinks that aren't listed.
