I came in the late afternoon to this bakery/coffee house combo, and I was pleasantly surprised with the environment. Lots of natural light and easy-going atmosphere. It was a small shop, but still had good seating. I ordered a prickly pear espresso tonic and got a bag of beans as well. I had a great interaction with the barista and she recommended me some good beans to take home. The tonic itself was very refreshing, and I was happy to have it on one of the hottest days of the year up until then. Lovely vibes and the coffee is great. I think I want to come back to try their other espresso-based stuff to get a good gauge on how a flat white or cortado tastes. I'll definitely want to come back, especially to visit their larger location in Chandler.

About a 15 minute drive from me, so won't be a frequent stop, but would recommend. Only knock is that they don't have to go sleeves so I had to double cup.

Plus the barista is always there no matter what time or day I go. That to me deserves at the very least a shout out. My drink was ready within a few minutes and I was on my way. When I sipped my drink, I only tasted the coffee on top so I used my own straw to mix it with the horchata at the bottom. I got the Sucia Xicana with cold foam and it was really good. I wanted pan but it had been so busy they ran out. They had music playing while you wait at the window. So definitely a vibe. Next time will be for an agua!

Also: the folks who work at Window Coffee Bar are super nice and also not too much personality to handle when it's early in the morning (sorry, I'm a bit of an introvert!) Had to grab a quick picture inside while I escaped the early morning heat with my best boy to grab a coffee.

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.
