I worked here all day from 8:45 am - 3pm closing so I saw everyone throughout the day. While there was a constant stream of customers, they were never overwhelmed and got everyone's drinks and food out in a timely manner. I saw so many groups of people meet up throughout the day and I heard over and over "yeah this is my favorite spot" and I totally get why! The drinks are so delicious and the food is next level! I orders a dulce de leche foam pumpkin spice latte and it was so delicious. I'm not even a coffee person, usually I just drink it because I need to work in a coffee shop. This drink was so good, I would come back just for this drink! For lunch I ordered the poblano Mac n cheese which was super interesting and comforting. I absolutely loved it! Throughout the day, I saw other peoples' orders, and let me tell you, the breakfast orders looked like they were straight out of instagram, they were so beautiful. Now the food is made at the restaurant next door, it don't let that fool you, the orders still come out quickly with excellent service every time. I love the clean but creative decor as well. There is a couch for a more intimate feel, several 2-person tables, and 3 bar chairs by the barista station. Local artwork hangs on the walls and is for sale. There is plenty of free parking.

The menu had a variety of enticing options, but I went with the staff's recommendation of El Paisano sandwich and my son ordered the El Chicano sandwich. I also got an iced almond milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder and my son got an iced Americano. My El Paisano was very tasty. It usually comes with chorizo, but I requested it without. Without the chorizo, the only protein left is an egg, which isn't enough for me so I should have asked for an additional egg on my sandwich. My latte was solid. My son liked his sandwich and Americano as well. We enjoyed sitting outside, taking advantage of the lovely patio weather we had back in May. They have a complimentary water station which was a thoughtful touch.

Food took a little bit of time to heat up, but it was good. Not great, but good. There's a big roaster, I assume you can watch them while they roast, unless they do it outside of open business hours. Service was just ok. Not unpleasant, but not super-friendly either. I don't need to have anyone go out of their way to engage with me, but I generally like to have a smile, at least. Overall I did enjoy my visit, but at over $50 for 2 coffees and 2 breakfasts (a fritatta, pictured, and a breakfast burrito), this felt like a bit of a splurge.
