Man this place is a serious mess. You can sense the frazzledness from the the two sweet girls who work here, trying to not catch the place on fire. I've only been here one time and the place was falling apart. - A man paid with $100 and they didn't have any change so they searched high and low until they finally found their secret stash of dollar bills causing a major line to go out the door. Just tell the man you don't take over 20$. Would've solved your problems. - A customer came back saying she was dissatisfied with her drink. They made her a new one and charged her for it. Definitely not the right way to do customer service. - The shop was abnormally humid. Magazines and board games were in a disarray. It was not an appetizing place to be. - Drinks did take awhile to come and was very watered down with plasticky tasting boba. The girls really did their best to try to keep calm and carry on but yeah, a no go for me. read more

I really liked this place up until last week. I went in because I was craving a Taro milk tea with honey boba. Usually the girls do a really good job but this girl was definitely not into it. We came in and ordered a Taro and a Rose milk tea when she seemed like we had disturbed her since she was eating noodles right where the tea is made. She did everything pretty fast, but too fast since our drinks weren't really mixed and came across a lot of powder clumps (see pic). Taste wise, my Taro tea tasted like cereal milk and my friend's Rosa tea tasted like soap. Such a bummer. I'd only come back for the shaved snow. read more

Frostea - Bubble Tea Near Me - San Francisco, California

Decided to give this place a try since I was in the area. I almost didn't go in because the outside is dirty and sketchy looking. However, the inside is immaculate and clean. I ordered a regular sized milk tea, and the lady gave me a chubby cup. Their milk teas are spot on! If I knew about this, I would have ordered several cups. This place is too far for me to make weekly trips. The parking situation is a pain in the butt. Since it's located on a busy street, it's next to impossible to find a parking spot. It's best to park at Walgreen's, which is right next to FrosTea. Better get your boba quickly before the parking people gives you a citation! read more

Took a long time to open this place. Am so disappointed. Looked like they were set up to sell a lot of things that have gone by the wayside. I see an appliance for Possible sandwiches. Used to have pastries Maybe no marketing. Felt sorry for the neighborhood place so I stopped in. Employee told me the dessert was cheesecake. Got home and discovered it was a 2 layer white cake with grated cheese on the top. Well technically a "cheese cake". read more

Black milk tea - red guava syrup - 50% sweetness = red guava syrup too sweet for my boyfriend. He said it tasted a bit like medicine to him. To me, perhaps less syrup might have made the taste between black tea and red guava more balanced and complementary. Black milk tea - hazelnut syrup - 100% sweetness = pretty good. Points knocked off for: 1. ice request - Requested half/less ice but there was more ice than we expected 2. Boba cup is short and wide instead of tall and slim. Would prefer regular boba cups (ones that can fit in car cup holder) read more

I decided to try this place after passing it all the time and I didn't enjoy it. I ordered a almond milk boba drink and it tasted artificial and yucky. The macaron with matcha ice cream was more delightful and worth the money. I won't be coming here for Boba again, and the service was ridiculously slow which made the experience even more annoying for me read more

I hate giving low reviews to small businesses, but the boba here was just not good :( The black milk tea was super watery. I asked for a lychee slushie (no milk) with boba, and they added milk and lychee jelly for some reason? They rung it up on the register correctly, and we were the only ones there, so I'm not sure why they did that. The boba itself was mushy. Great size for the price, but we didn't even finish our drinks. read more

Shaved snow was yummy (taro with fruity pebbles, condensed milk & mochi and mango with lychee jelly and condensed milk). Fried chicken was OK and fries were OK by nothing to write home about. Lady behind the counter was nice and had good suggestions for toppings. Didn't like the flies around the restaurant. read more

So I've tried many dessert and comfort food places, this is one of my favorite places to go. They make really great mango snow, and their popcorn chicken and shrimp are one of my favorite to get considering all the places that does it. The chicken is a little mehhhh, but's it's all about their spicy mayo sauce that they have, it really sets it apart from most places. Also they have a wonder mango macaroon ice cream sandwiches. If you are in the mood for something sweet, or some snackage check it out read more

Small family owned business with good selections milk tea, shaved snow, slushies, smoothies and ice cream macaroons. They also have small eats like chicken nibblers and french fries. The owners, Maurice and Akari are very friendly. They gave me a free sample of Oreo smoothie. I'm now an official regular customer because of their friendly service. read more

This place was okay and it was open late for a Friday night. A lot of the things they sold here were all out when I went in. It looks like a store that just sells milk tea. I did get a slush and it was really strong but it did taste really good. The image of the business looked good from the outside but the ambience of their cafe was dull and plain. The closest parking would be at the Walgreens nearby and would be less than a block away to walk into the entrance if you don't want to do street parking and parallel park. If you're looking to take quality IG boba pics, this is not the place to take it. The drinks were honestly just ehh and I don't really recommend coming here unless you're REALLY craving boba. read more

Love this boba spot when I'm in Daly City. They employees are nice great boba selection and you have the option to create your own drink too based on the different options. The prices are reasonable since the drink are reasonable sizes. My favorite drink is hazel nut Thai tea with boba. read more

Not premium teas and milks like Boba Guys, but it's a decent milk tea with huge serving sizes for a good price! I ordered the green milk tea with honey and lavendar flavor and added 1 topping, housemade grass jelly. Haven't tried their shaved snow or ice cream macarons yet because the macarons look a little stale in the freezer. Also it's usually too chilly and foggy in this area for frozen desserts!! But I saw that they have a stock of board games in the corner and a few tables for groups, so would love to come back to hang out sometime. PLUS: Both times I've been here the staff has been very friendly, patient, and helpful. TIP: Join the FiveStar app and sometimes they will send you a free drink! (No purchase necessary) read more

Stopped in because of the wifi sticker they had outside, it's Xfinity wifi though so if you don't have Xfinity you'll have to pay for wifi. We ordered a coconut water and chicken nibblers, the nibblers were okay nothing great. The TV wasn't on and there was no music so it was pretty awkward being in here. We were gonna grab a game but it looks like people haven't been putting things away because we couldn't find anything. Honestly wouldn't come back to order in, might come back if it's a hot day and I'm in the area craving boba read more

Spent 20 minutes in line, not a single order before us was taken during that time. A couple girls were working but they seemed overwhelmed with all the large online orders coming in. I've had boba here before and it was fine, but not worth waiting for. The first person in line left after a while and we went shortly after him when they got another online order and prioritized it again before taking any orders from people actually in the store. I was also concerned about the safety of the drinks at this point...I thought they'd put it away, but a gallon of milk was just sitting on a cart unrefrigerated the entire time we were there, in a room without air conditioning on a warm day. read more

I got a watermelon strawberry green tea and it's a little bitter but it's not bad, I just really hate that there is a $6 minimum for card, like I swear they just do that so you spend more so I probably won't be back, although I do want to know how their milk tea tastes. And I like macaroon ice cream, but I think tpumps is better bc I just prefer more sweet tastes. read more

Frostea - Oreo smoothie and Taro/strawberry/Lemon smoothie super delicious - Bubble Tea Near Me - San Francisco, California

Mediocre. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Very strong tea taste which I liked but the flavor a could use some work. Speaking of flavors...each one costs $.50. Think of it this way... Your basic tea costs $3.50 + $.50 (1 flavor) + $.50 (for boba). So $4.50 for a single flavored drink with boba which isn't bad but man...you could be spending that money at Boba Guys or something. Something to think about before you come here to build your drink: Basic Tea = $3.50 Large size = $4 EACH flavor = $.50 Boba/toppings = $.50 EACH So a large passion fruit, peach, honey green milk, with boba = $6???? Just trying to save a bro and his beer money. read more

This place finally opened up. I live so close..been waiting for quite a while. Seems somewhat organised for just opened for the first 4 days. They have a nice ambiance with music videos playing and board games for customers. There are fresh plants at the tables which can go wrong because my table flower container had a worm crawling around all lost and confused lol... Seems like not all the workers know what to suggest to customers tho. I would give this place a try. Low sweet was way too sweet if you add gelly. Red guava with green milk tea low sweet was good to me. Next time even less sweet. Lavender flavor was great tho. just don't get the lychee jelly with it too sweet. Funny story, my friends told me to apply to this place because we were all looking for a new job, but I didn't. So from then on, I knew about this place because all of my friends wanted to apply here before they opened up the store and I've always wanted to try it, but I ended up forgetting about this place. When I was going to meet up my boyfriend at the vape shop up the street, I decided to give this place a try with one of my other friends. When you walk in, you notice how colorful and spacious this place is. When I went, there wasn't a line and there was only a few people that were inside the store. They also have games that you can play with your friends, so that's a plus. They do accept credit card, but I believe there's a minimum fee (but I forgot). Also, if you do happen to come here, make sure you park alongside the street or find parking across the street because there isn't a parking lot near by. Anyways, I remember ordering a passion fruit green tea with boba and a green apple slush for my boyfriend. My friend got something else which I can't remember atm. When I got the passion fruit green tea, it was pretty big. Flavor wise? It could have been better. I remember it tasting a bit off to me and the green apple slush wasn't even a slush. It looked like green apple juice with a few pieces of ice inside. My expectations weren't that high for this place and I kinda regret coming here after that first experience. Maybe I'll come back and try something else, but meh. You can go somewhere else for better boba in SF. read more

I ordered the Thai milk tea regular size. The size of the drink is huge (in my opinion). I personally dislike their sizes because they're fat cups so it's just harder to carry. The drink: Thai Milk Tea with Boba The boba isn't that soft so it doesn't feel like it was made fresh. The tea tasted bitter (I asked for 25% sweetness). Usually, other 25% sweetness teas at least had some sweetness but this was unusually bitter/sour tasting. So I'd recommend to go with 100% sweetness level. For the price, it isn't worth it. Location/inside: There isn't much parking around the shop itself. However, I like that it is close by a muni bus stop. Also, you can probably get away with parking near the Goldilocks. So it's a perfect place to stop by if the bus is delayed, although the drink quality may not be the best. The inside is relatively clean which is nice. There are board games but it's a messy pile and it looks broken and dirty. If I come here again, I'd not get their milk teas and go for a different type of drink or even a dessert. read more

I came here on a Monday night with 2 friends. It seemed to be a slow night, but there were a few customers here and there. The workers would be in the other room when no one was ordering. PROS: 1. Cute interior & menu 2. Friendly workers 3. Board games 4. BATHROOM CONS: I ordered a green tea shaved snow w/ strawberry mochi, passionfruit popping boba, and condensed milk. The mochi tasted really weird and artificial. Also the shaved snow had this gummy tacky texture and not a light fluffy one I would have expected. Also, I could barely see the condensed milk on there. The order came out to ~$6.50. Probably won't be returning unfortunately. Just wanted to try the place out and have a place to chill after dinner that night. read more

I had a free birthday reward from 5Stars that will expire in the next 4 days and been meaning to try this place out, so I thought "hey, perfect opportunity." Wrong. I told her I wanted to redeem my free reward and she said there wasn't one, even though it showed up on the screen when I entered my phone number. So I had to pay and as I was paying, she said it was expired 4 days ago. Then after paying, she said it was for next time. Uh. What? If it was expired 4 days ago, it wouldn't still be in my account. Whatever, I didn't want to argue and she didn't understand me anyway, nor did I understand her. Ended up paying for my drink which was super gross. Extremely watered down black milk tea which had no flavor whatsoever. I basically paid for ice water with grass jelly. Bummer because I wanted to like this place. read more

I wish I liked this place, but there nothing special about it other than the decor which is slightly above average. Came here around 6pm on a Sunday, no customers. The 4 workers didn't greet us at all considering we're literally the only customers in the store lol I'd assume you'd make some type of eye contact. As for the drinks, I've only tried the milk tea. They say regular sweet but goddddamnn how many pumps do you guys put? Regular sweet is extra extra sweet to me. Also id like to point out that the guy with the beard that rung me up doesn't know much about his menu. He had to look at the menu board when he was questioning my order which was a peach mango black milk tea with honey boba. The boba though..... Probably the best thing there. This place gets a 1.5 star and i'm grading it on a curve. I've been meaning to check this place out for awhile. Passed by on a Sunday evening and saw a line of customers ahead of us. I ordered a large black milk tea with honey boba and grass jelly. She stopped me in mid order and asked for it again. No biggie. I repeated it and she repeated back half my order. 'Errr...yes, BUT with boba and grass jelly PLEASE'. I know better to not piss off the people who make your food. Twenty minutes passed still no order. The gentlemen behind the counter asked, 'Did you order something?' 'Yes, a large black milk tea with honey boba and grass jelly'. Finally, I get my drink. And it was totally worth the wait..........just kidding. It was water with milk. Totally terrible don't come to this place. read more

I work across the street so been coming here since they've opened. It's a big place and it's clean. I've only had their milk tea. I usually get taro black milk tea, unsweetened with either boba or taro pudding. They use powder for their flavoring. I usually order this because only the boba usually makes it sweet nothing else. Service is good. I like how they have those frequent card or is it called belly card? Makes u go back often to redeem them. It's a convenient place since it's near bus stops. As for parking, if u come day time, you'll usually find one but night time you might have to park far. read more

Pretty average boba spot. They use the chubby cups here and there are only options for the medium ($3.25) and large ($4) option with 50 cent toppings. I ordered the red guava green tea with honey boba while my friend ordered the peach green milk tea. We both thought the drinks were way too sweet and did not taste good. The boba was too chewy as well. Definitely opt for the less sugar options. Both of us couldnt sleep all night afterwards =( perhaps sugar and caffeine in the evening. This usually doesn't happen when I drink tea in the evening though. The place itself is in a not so nice location. Parking is difficult to find, but there is a Walgreens parking lot nearby you can use if you want to risk it. Decent spot if you want boba and are in the area, but not worth driving here to check out. read more

SO DISAPPOINTED! I can't believe I spent more than $70 for 10 drinks!! The avocado snow which we ordered (8), have no taste! Chocolate milk tea with boba is a no. If I could return this right now, I WOULD DRIVE ALL THE WAY THERE JUST TO RETURN IT! Will never order from here again! Wish they made sure the mango shaved ice would be put in the bag upright!
