Seating is incredibly limited, so depending on what time you go, they're absolutely could be a wait. We lucked out and there was a table readily available for the two of us The interior is bohemian and has that funky college vibe in the best possible way. Dessert is very shareable, but will you want to share?! Possibly not! We did share and ordered the Pandan Kaya lava cake/toast, which is served with shredded coconut and very creamy vanilla ice cream on the side. Everything about this is perfect. I personally love pandan, and to find it in a dessert, it's always a bonus. The toast is filled with the pandan sauce, and spills out like the perfect lava cake. I recommend the Hochija Bingsoo! It was very well executed - the Hochija is strong with sweet flavors from the brownie and boba coupled with salt flavors from pretzel. We only ended up getting one thing here because the prices are pretty outrageous haha. They're comparable to going out for dinner and eating dishes with huge amounts of protein..... but it's just sugar here haha. (The complimentary "lemon coconut" water is bs haha.) inside is cute and there's a fair amount of seating. They seemed to be out of some drinks when we were there. They also were pushing their desserts like they got commission for every dessert sold. My friend got the grape fizz and I got the strawberry oolong. I thought my drink was 4 stars, not too sweet and generally refreshing. What I didn't like was the constant pressure to order more, constant reminders that they didn't take cash under a certain amount, they really should post that outside and they constantly are trying to push their customers out because the place is so small. Strawberry Hojicha (4/5) - The taste of the hojicha wasn't too overpowering over the strawberry flavor. The balance was very good and it was even good after I drank it the morning after. Kiwi White Grape Fizz (4.3/5) - It was an interesting taste with this being a new combination I never had before. There were a lot of kiwi bits, which I appreciated. I was glad to have the kiwi not be sour being it is not in season. Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsoo (4.7/5) - Hands down one of my favorite bingsoo in the City. The bingsoo was topped high in the Korean clay pot and had a heaping stack of cheesecake bite. Their strawberry puree was very unique and tasted very delicious. They gave an extra shot glass of condensed milk, which I used throughout the meal. Nutella Banana Toast (4/5) - It was combination I never had before. However, it tasted great. The toast was nice and crunchy. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of Nutella in the toast. The banana was lightly caramelized. All the portion of the dessert was a lot. Don't be turned away from the 3 star, this place is a pretty solid dessert spot, their bingsoo and toast are pretty good, the workers are really accommodating and helpful especially given their small space and big crowds. The desserts here are good but the vibes are uncomfortable. I've been here a handful of times and every time there's this situation: People sit at the table, waitress takes their order, the someone uses the restroom which of course is for customers only. The people are told they have to spend a specific amount to use card otherwise it's cash only. The people don't have cash so they leave and a worker (owner, I'm assuming) gets mad that they've already used the bathroom. You don't really expect the trendy looking restaurants and cafes to be cash only (unless you pay a certain amount) when you walk in. Items I would improve on: The little bar stool hurt my back. It needs a cushion and a back rest. You know, real chairs. Better drink and food selections. I wish they had orange cream soda or milk shakes. Let's start with the service. We had a party of 15, and everyone ordered drinks or snacks. My husband even felt bad and ordered the Pandan Kuya toast because the staff kept pushing desserts on us like they had to be purchased. Two different staff members mentioned desserts multiple times.
