We noticed that the line at this place was very long and we decided to try it the following Saturday night. We arrived at about 8:00 and it wasn't crowded and we able to get seated at a table for 4. We had water served and ordered our desserts-a toffee cake, a scoop of ice cream with a blueberry compote and an earl grey cake. Half of our party didn't think the desserts were fantastic. I thought what we ordered was great.

We only ended up getting one thing here because the prices are pretty outrageous haha. They're comparable to going out for dinner and eating dishes with huge amounts of protein..... but it's just sugar here haha. (I attached pictures of the menu as of June 2026) The pandan waffle we got was pretty good and crunchy with good elements, but was $17+. Service was fine. (The complimentary "lemon coconut" water is bs haha.) inside is cute and there's a fair amount of seating. They take cash only for bills below $20 AND charge an 18% service charge for parties over only four people haha.....something wrong with the values at this place. There are so many more dessert places on Irving that are just as good (or better!) AND cost less. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Don't be turned away from the 3 star, this place is a pretty solid dessert spot, their bingsoo and toast are pretty good, the workers are really accommodating and helpful especially given their small space and big crowds. But I'm giving this a 3 star this time around because the pizookie was.... It was alright. The taste was just a little off. Maybe I'm just comparing it to BJ's pizookies which is one of the things they're known for so it might be a high bar.

Such a great dessert place! The Nutella banana toast was loaded with a bunch of toppings. The bread was toasted perfectly. I think it was around $1-2 more than similar toasts I've gotten from other places which is kind of disappointing. But if I'm getting dinner in the Sunset, this will be at the top of my dessert places to consider.

Decided to come here after dinner and tried the place out. Even thought it was raining, I still wanted dessert :). Luckily, when we came, we were seated right away without any trouble. The service was very quick too! With it being Valentine's day when we came, we were also offered a free balloon when we were there. Strawberry Hojicha (4/5) - The taste of the hojicha wasn't too overpowering over the strawberry flavor. The balance was very good and it was even good after I drank it the morning after. Kiwi White Grape Fizz (4.3/5) - It was an interesting taste with this being a new combination I never had before. There were a lot of kiwi bits, which I appreciated. I was glad to have the kiwi not be sour being it is not in season. Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsoo (4.7/5) - Hands down one of my favorite bingsoo in the City. The bingsoo was topped high in the Korean clay pot and had a heaping stack of cheesecake bite. Their strawberry puree was very unique and tasted very delicious. They gave an extra shot glass of condensed milk, which I used throughout the meal. Nutella Banana Toast (4/5) - It was combination I never had before. However, it tasted great. The toast was nice and crunchy. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of Nutella in the toast. The banana was lightly caramelized. All the portion of the dessert was a lot. Breathing was a challenge after eating these delicious food. You will 100% see me here again.

Came to OH Dessert Cafe and loved it. We got a hot matcha, a hot chocolate, and the blueberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The café itself is super cute and cozy. We honestly stayed way past what felt like our welcome, but the staff never made us feel rushed at all, which we really appreciated. Definitely a spot I'd come back to agai

Caught up with my friend snake and his gf at Oh dessert Cafe!!! Omg you guys love is in the air~~ Shared the strawberry cheesecake bingsoo amongst us 3 which was great for a post dinner treat and the cafe is open until 11pm which makes it such a good spot to chill at in the evening. The credit card minimum is $25 so we had to add a small drink on top of the bingsoo. The bingsoo was yummy and the little agar morsels were fun and nice texture. The strawberry was SO strawberry -y!!! Yay!

One of my favorite dessert places in the Inner Richmond! My favorite thing to get here is the hojicha milk tea bingsoo because it's so rich and sweet. I would say that one is enough to split with four people. The interior is really cute, I love how much effort they've put into the OH branding. There was no weight when we went at 7:30 PM on a Saturday, but I have seen it full later in the day. Service is really sweet and attentive. Will be coming again!

An amazing spot for a late-night sweet tooth after a late night at ocean beach. It's definitely a popular spot, so be prepared to wait in a short line, but it moves quickly. The black sesame bingsoo had the perfect balance of sweetness and rich sesame flavor. Heads up on the toppings though--we expected brownie bites based on the menu but ended up getting cheesecake bites instead. Honestly, it was still delicious, but good to know if you have your heart set on chocolate!

Tiny shop but super cozy and really cute inside. The vibe is chill and the staff were super sweet and helpful. I was a little worried at first when everything came out so fast, but honestly it all tasted fresh, so no complaints there. We tried the blueberry cheesecake drink and it was definitely heavy on the blueberry. If you're expecting to taste cheesecake, you'll probably be disappointed, but if you're a blueberry fan, you'll like it. The Milo crepe was so rich and decadent. The crepes were still soft, and the cream inside was light and fluffy. Eating everything together was a bit on the sweet side for me, but I loved the salted thicker cream on top helped balance things out. We also got the strawberry cheesecake bingsu and that was a winner. The strawberries were fresh, the bingsu itself was fluffy and not clumpy, and the jam and condensed milk added just the right amount of sweetness and flavor!

Wanted to try a different late night dessert place, so came to OH. There was a bit of a wait on a Friday night, but understandable since the place itself is pretty small. You can leave your number for them to call when the table is ready, so that was nice. We ordered the Nutella banana toast and it was so beautiful! Bread is super fluffy, soft, and the combo of fruit, Nutella, bread, whipped cream, and ice cream was perfect. Service was really nice, and the rest of their menu also sounded delicious! If it wasn't so cold, I would've def tried one of their bingsoos. Also important note! They have a $25 card minimum, so be prepared with cash if you don't plan on eating a lot.

My friend and I ordered the Mango Bingsoo ($18.75). The perfect size for two, even for three people. It comes with extra mango puree and condensed milk on the side which is great. Service is good, can be a bit slow during busy hours but to be expected. It has limited seating but if you come during an off-time then you'll be able to snag a seat.

Yum! Fun little spot with cute and tasty desserts. Got the London fog and one of their Mille cakes. Definitely recommend!

I'm always hunting for spots like this because I have a weakness for those over-the-top, Instagram-worthy desserts that look like diabetes in a dish. Like most places in this genre, A Buttercup is small, modern, and minimalist with limited seating. If you plan to go, aim for off-hours unless you enjoy waiting in line for sugar. The decor is cute and trendy, perfect for photos if that's part of your dessert ritual. As they say, "you eat with your eyes first," and when it comes to presentation, this place definitely gets an A+. The desserts look stunning and set high expectations. Unfortunately, that's where things started to crumble. It's like going to see your favorite artist live. You've watched the videos, memorized the songs, and paid for the experience. But instead of the electric performance you imagined, you get someone lip-syncing and barely connecting with the crowd. That was this place in dessert form. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo on our first visit, and when it arrived, we were surprised by how small the portion was. The guy next to us even looked over and said, "Whatever that is, I'm getting that next time." He shouldn't have. The Bingsoo looked great but was bland, and the "snow" was more chunky ice than soft shave. The Thai Tea Roti was also not what I expected. It came with Thai tea ice cream and sauce alongside a roti that was fried to a crunch. Interesting idea, just not the best execution. The sauce and ice cream needed a stronger Thai tea flavor to balance the crispy roti, and the flavors never quite came together. Overall, A Buttercup nails the aesthetics but misses the flavor. If you're here for the photos, you'll be happy. If you're here for the taste, you'll leave with a full camera roll and an unsatisfied sweet tooth.

Service was nice and prompt. We ordered one of their new items. The salted duck egg bingsoo, as well as a Thai tea lava cake. The Thai tea lava cake was rich and cocoa-y, pairing so well with the Thai tea ice cream. The star of the show, however, was definitely the shaved ice. The portion size was nice and large, and the mochi on top was so soft and chewy. The salted duck egg topping tasted like the filling in the lava egg yolk buns from dim sum, so earthy and rich and sweet with a perfect umami hit. It paired perfectly with the milky, not too sweet shaved ice. I love salted duck yolk everything and this is yet another item to add to that list! Naya is a bit pricy but so worth it for that bingsoo.

The japanese milk coffee was less bitter/strong compared to typical coffee ice cream, probably hence the milk. I think I would've enjoyed a stronger aroma of coffee flavor more, but it was still yum!
