I personally love bingsoo, so when I heard about this place opening I knew I had to try it. When I first arrived I saw a cute chalkboard menu. However, there were no prices on the menu. I'm personally not fond of establishments not putting pricing. We ordered two large bingsoos: yogurt flavor ice with green grape flavoring topped with pineapples and vanilla flavor ice with citron flavor and mangos. The yogurt flavored ice was tasty and resembles the tart yogurt flavor you find at yogurt places. The vanilla ice wasn't sweet but didn't taste like vanilla to me. I didn't really care for the vanilla flavor. It wasn't creamy either. The texture of the ice was soft but comparable to competitors already established. The fruit seemed to be fresh fruit but only one fruit topping. There was no condensed milk or any other toppings such as mochi. The sauce flavorings were from a bottle and were tasty and tart. I particularly liked the citron. However, I personally prefer when the sauces are homemade especially if I'm paying a high price. When we got our total it was $18 something. I was very shocked. For the same price I could get a much bigger portion dessert somewhere else. While I liked the dessert, it isn't comparable to other bingsoo places you will find elsewhere with more toppings and larger size. The price to taste/portion ratio didn't add up for me. A large bowl there is a small size at other establishments. I think the taste is promising but I personally don't love it enough to return. My recommendation is to reduce the pricing and/or increase portion size and toppings. I also recommend adding pricing to the menu. If the pricing was $5-6 range I would revisit but otherwise I just think it's too high pricing currently. read more

Had the pleasure of stopping by with a friend during the soft launch before the official opening. We weren't really sure which flavors to choose so we asked the owner to give us whatever he thought was best. We were certainly not disappointed. The mango bingsu was pure heaven! The fruit was remarkably fresh and the snow was so light and refreshing. The syrup was tasty and not overly sweet. I had such a great experience here tonight! The place itself is very nice, clean, and trendy! The owner, Albert, recommended the pineapple grape bing su and it had such a unique and delicious flavor!
