Quest has a bigger waiting area but only one check-in machine. However, its online appointment system is much better than Labcorp's--easier to use and more reliable. If Labcorp can improve its online system, the experience would be close to perfect. The check-in process at Labcorp was smooth, and I didn't wait long before being called. Labcorp did a good job.

Thereafter desk personnel reviewed my paperwork and noted my doctor had failed to assign billing codes. They could still proceed but I would likely get a bill despite having insurance. I really appreciated her knowledge and attention to detail. Chose to return to my doctor to correct forms. I returned today, early morning, as a walk-in. Same great experience checking in. Was taken back quickly and can't truly express how grateful I was for the tech's expertise. She was phenomenal (didn't feel a thing!!) and also knowledgeable in answering my questions about the labs. I'd always used Quest before but consider me a LabCorp customer in the future!

One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. When you enter building LabCorp is the first door to your left. I definitely made the mistake of walking the whole entire first floor. You can physically check-in on the clipboard and you give the technicians your paperwork and insurance card (if you have one). You wait to be helped and you're out as soon as you know it. The staff are relatively friendly just don't expect too much of excellent customer service. I know other reviews mention that and I can see where they're coming from.

It's so much farther than these other ones...but man did I ever have to eat my own words. For context, we were trying to get blood work done for my mom who has late stage dementia. Even though we had worries about how this was going to go due to her illness, we had such an easy time here thanks to the staff. Xandy, our phlebotomist, went above and beyond with the service she provided. She helped us draw blood from my mother flawlessly and helped us navigate a customer service call with ease. Honestly, we wouldn't have been able to do it without her and I'm not exaggerating. Shout-outs to the manager/supervisor who helped us as well, unfortunately didn't catch her name but she also helped suggest fixes for our little online registration mix up. We had a typo with a birthdate which made our test request not appear but the team here was great all around on getting it fixed for us. They were super patient with us and yeah it's the little things that count.
