Great experience. We came to this location because my sister said it had the best reviews. At first I thought, who cares we're just getting some blood work done... It's so much farther than these other ones...but man did I ever have to eat my own words. For context, we were trying to get blood work done for my mom who has late stage dementia. Even though we had worries about how this was going to go due to her illness, we had such an easy time here thanks to the staff. Xandy, our phlebotomist, went above and beyond with the service she provided. She helped us draw blood from my mother flawlessly and helped us navigate a customer service call with ease. Honestly, we wouldn't have been able to do it without her and I'm not exaggerating. Shout-outs to the manager/supervisor who helped us as well, unfortunately didn't catch her name but she also helped suggest fixes for our little online registration mix up. We had a typo with a birthdate which made our test request not appear but the team here was great all around on getting it fixed for us. Waited 45 minutes for a walk in appointment made on their in lobby system only to have them tell me at 4pm they were closed. Very rude (I'm assuming) lead nurse. Couldn't be bothered...must have had to get to a pissy test as that was her attitude. The ladies here need more help; I love their kiosk but Quest needs a human who can help and the wait wouldn't be what it is. This used to be the only good location around and now there is no regard for patients and their time. Why? Can't find an appointment for weeks if you need to fast and if you walk in then you could wait hours without anyone helping you. If you wait, it could still be hours before you find out they can't help you (they may not have someone experienced enough to draw your blood). I had to come back days later because they didn't have qualified staff to help draw my blood and to top it off they had me wait a total of three hours to "makeup" for the mishap. I showed up at 6:45 (15 min before they open); someone unlocked the door and 7:04am. I was the only patient at that time. After overhearing the ladies' chip chat for about 10 minutes the office was suddenly full of patients and guess what?!! I had to wait nearly one hour because by the time their were "ready" for me all appointments showed up. Not only that, I had to come back because they could not find my order (doc sent it several times). I had to wait another hour again because I didn't have an appt (of course) because they didn't have anyone but one technician who could draw my blood. This is the second time that I went to this location. The check in process was super easy and I was able to get in right away. That was the highlight of the experience. I am aware that I have challenging veins and traditionally in the past, if the technician cannot find the vein they send someone else in. I went in yesterday and the lady (I did not get her name) had a difficult time getting blood out of me. She had to use both my arm and my hand. Attached, are the photos post one day. Was here yesterday. First of all, the girl behind the counter wasn't at all welcoming. I signed and apparently took a bit longer to sign (back pain). She kept repeating that I need to sit. Of all the 30 seconds, she made it seem like I had people behind me when there was no one behind me. I tried giving her the print out of my test from the doctor's office. Without even looking at it, she threw it back. Telling me she has the order already. But why be so rude? Could have just said that without throwing my paper back. Could have handed to me too. I hate bad customer service! If you're going to work on this type of an environment, you better know how to treat people!!! I intentionally came in later in the morning, to avoid the morning rush. I, along with the other 4 that were there for the same reason were called out by the lady behind the counter constantly in a very rude way. It's only 5 people in total in the waiting room. You already asked us at least twice if we're fasting. We've all said yes but you continue to ask the same question while our blood sugar is dropping and you're doing nothing. In the past, I've been in and out of this location under 15 minutes. This time, it took 41 minutes to be seen. I think she saw me checking in and taking photos for yelp. She then told me to go into room one. Yes, told! No nice way of asking anyone to go in. Everyone was called by their first name and go to room 1 or 2. Then who I thought was a receptionist for nearly an hour turned out to also be a phlebotomist. She found my vein fairly quickly as it's difficult for them to usually find my veins. Clearly she knows how to draw blood but lacks professionalism and customer service skills. Rather than sitting around, she could have helped the other phlebotomist and gotten people out quicker. Especially irritating when you're a fasting diabetic and it can get dangerous. This is my last time at this location as the girls that worked here in the past are gone. Absolutely rude and unprofessional staff, not wanting to help or assist anyone with no appointment, theer language is that they are telling you that if you don't have appointment you basically wait so long that you get tired and leave, even I told her that we're fasting and I have a medical condition that I can't wait too long without having food , she was insisting that " oh people fasting until 3:00pm here " we were told and it's on the quest website "walking welcome", oh no you're absolutely not welcome here even we were there at 7:08am , just after opening, and 4 staff members were there , they were arguing with us and not wanting to help at all , no one coming to front to help and there was only one patient in the back and one before us , and they were insisting that we have to have appointments and giving us lectures that quest works difrent now, no apartment then we basically wait for the appointment patient and even they had plenty of time in between to do blood draw, no and one of the was telling us from the back to not to talk they can hear us , I told them so you're saying that I can't talk to my partner , don't tell me what to do . The way the key spoke to us and the lady who was behind us pushed her to leave , I don't believe they like anyone with an accent. They we're working casually, not that too many people were waiting at all . We went to the LabCorp in mission viejo, they had a lot of people waiting, even with that situation they were super nice and professional, and they welcomed us, and we told them that we were fasting and we have to do these tests for both of us and the lady and staff were so good and helpful, and they even helped another lady who came after us and belive it or not we all got in within 20 minutes, awesome, they understood that we need them and that's why we're there and they were very professional at LabCorp. Getting your blood drawn is no fun, but at least this location makes it a little easier. The check in process is super easy, especially if you have an appointment ahead of time. You just type in your phone number on their check in screen, it finds your appointment info & checks you in. Make sure you bring a mask, when I went they had run out of them so I had to cover my face with my shirt the whole time (I was grateful they didn't make me come back). I have been twice in the past few weeks & both times I got Lindsay. She is so friendly & personable, she makes the process easy & quick. Do yourself a favor & make your appointment time after 10:30am. Most people go in the morning because they're fasting. I came to pick up a container this morning and the woman at the front (whose name tag was turned around) was so rude to me. As I'm sweating droplets due to my stupid mask and squirming toddler and pregnant, she made me wait 25 min to pick up a container and was even so rude to my doctors office that she called, that my doc office called me to figure out what location I was at and apologize on behalf of her. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST quest diagnostics. They are so fast and never crowded. The girls that work there so friendly and efficient. I have really small and rolling veins. If not drawn by an expert phlebotomist, my vein will blow up leaving a big bruise for at least a week. I always let her know how my veins are and which one is the best. They use the smallest needle just above the adolescent butterfly needle. They always get the blood drawn on the first try and never leave a mark. I hesitated reviewing them bc I don't want it to be suddenly become crowded! But these women deserve the highest praises! read more

They don't enforce proper mask wearing among their employees, simply draping a mask loosely over the tip of the nose and not making it snug to the face protects no one. The rooms are very small here so you are forced to interact in tight spaces with the employees. I politely asked Nichole to adjust her ill-fitted mask and she refused. She did get me another phlebotomist to draw my blood but then continued to walk in and out of the room I was in as she was "helping." Very poor medical policy here, given they interact with patients all day and refuse to wear a simple mask properly. Not worth the risk to your health to go here. read more

I wish there was 6 stars for the ladies at this location!! Our 5 year old daughter was so anxious and scared about getting her blood drawn, and as crazy as it seems, they almost made it FUN for her! They went above and beyond to relate to her, make her laugh and feel at ease...by the time they actually used the needle she had stopped crying completely and was calmly talking to them through it.
