I always go here. I have never had a problem until my last visit. I had an appt and the front desk was taking walk-ins before me. Then the front desk was so rude to an older woman that had come in. This woman wasn't understanding that her order didn't go through and the girl was yelling at her. When I finally got to back room the woman who was drawing blood was very unprofessional and did not know how to draw blood. I was totally bruised and she had to use the other arm. Horrible! Go somewhere else. Lost or destroyed my blood sample and then deleted my order. After weeks of waiting for results I was informed the lab tech deleted my order. No explanation. I've gone all the way to a regional manager with my complaint and questions. Each representative states they will look into it and call me back. None of them have followed up. None of them know what happened to my blood sample. Mistakes happen but the way this has been handled afterwards is the worst I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER go back and strongly recommend finding a better run location!! read more

I had to undergo two lab tests within one week, which included both blood draws and urine collections. During my visit on 8/14, the urine samples (with logs in record) were not processed, even though it was collected at this facility. In addition, several blood test items were not reported, leaving me with no usable results. As a result, I had to repeat the lab tests on 8/21. My experience during the second visit was even more concerning. The technician did not confirm my identity (name and date of birth), either before drawing my blood or before labeling the tubes--something that is usually done as a safety protocol. During the process, he accidentally dropped all of my blood sample tubes and the tray on the floor. Afterward, he just picked up the samples, and instead of reprinting labels, he took the tubes into his workstation and hand-labeled them with a pen. This raises serious concerns about possible labeling errors and contamination of my samples, as well as the overall professionalism of the handling process. I request that the lab review this incident carefully, as it not only caused inconvenience but also raises significant concerns about patient safety and the accuracy of test results. read more

I scheduled for my pre employment drug screening and called multiple times, you can call them 20 times over the course of 4 hours and nobody will ever answer the phone. When I show up they mention they do not do drug screenings anymore. Why would they not update their website if they don't do drugs screenings. This all Could've been avoided if they answered the phone but they do not. The lady at the counter was nice and that's the only good thing I have to say. Wasted my time read more

Used to like this place. Heads Up!!! Unfortunately they no longer take walk-ins. Nowhere on the site does it say anything to this effect. I went there around 7:45am, haven't had anything to eat for 2 days. So I was a little weak and now I had to scramble and look for another location. Ran to the one on Crown Valley (Optum) and they were closed!! Wow! Ok All the other locations were open. So I head to the next location in the Providence building where you have to pay for parking. It is packed with people. The technician that drew my blood said they were slammed all morning and she informed me that this location is not supposed to turn away walk-ins. Long line and I don't think the self check in kiosk even works. I was waiting for two hours when the wait time was quoted to be 1 hr 30 minutes. They force you to use the kiosk and don't want you to talk to the receptionist for check in. I finally got in when I went to the counter to check on my spot in line, and I was let in right away after two hours. Thank you to the man at the reception who finally helped me. Customer service from the reception needs to be improved. The woman there was not friendly and referred us to the kiosk which was not working. For those who inquired she pushed back on them that she told them there was a wait, but I don't think the kiosk was working. I found her to use intimidation to have us use the kiosk and not bother her although her job is to check people in. She told us to go to the other locations so putting it on us for the wait. I get that you are understaffed, but that's not our fault as customers. There were not enough chairs so people were standing. Hope this location increases their staffing and improves their customer service at check in. Crossing my fingers I don't need to come back here again. read more

Took my kid here for a blood draw and I should have left immediately upon seeing the staffs. Talking joking loudly and just by the way they walk they seemed rough. They have zero ideas on how to draw blood on my young kid and kept trying. Like bumbling fools, changed three technicians and the last person just stuck a needle up and with the needle up my kids arm, he starts sweeping the needle around, as if they're windshield wipers and needless to say my kid is screaming and traumatized at this point after so many trials. Take your kids here but with what I experience, it might cause damages! USA medical care is really rough, these folks skills sometimes are no better than those that flip burgers. While the check-in process was very fast and helpful, and other phlebotomists were very kind. the two phlebotomists helping my 6-year-old son weren't as attentive as they should have been. First, they didn't use his full last name when calling him back, prompting confusion if they had the right patient. Second, I informed them that I had a Buzzy tool to help distract my son when he was getting the blood draw. As it was his first blood draw ever and he was nervous, I needed to be able to be there for him and brought the Buzzy as a proven tool to help distract him. I informed the two phlebotomists, they acknowledged I had it. But then they proceeded to try to insert the needle into his arm without it. This caused panic in my son, and I had to say, "Excuse me!" three times, louder each time, to get them to finally stop and listen to me. I was appalled that they weren't listening at all and that's something that should be taken extremely seriously. Thankfully I was able to put the Buzzy on his arm before and everything went smoothly, but I've never seen medical professionals so unaware, especially when it came to the comfort of a scared child. read more

Getting blood taken can almost be a traumatic experience for those who hate needles. Some labs are as longbasbthe DMV AND TAKE FOREVER! THE KEY IS TO FIND A GEM , I have found the gem! They are nice, efficent, amazing at blood draws, can also Do drug screening for employment and take the effort out of the term effortless. Meaning, less time, less pain, less trauma, and just less everything! Im a fan. The parking is plentiful, the time is almost non-exsistant. They are open and dont take off for lunch , so go in and go out. Easy breezy! Im a huge fan! Update; still my favorite place with great vampires! There is a kiosk that is new from the last time I was in. Step 1: sign in on the sign in sheet, Step 2: scan ID on Kiosk, verify info, hit ok. Step 3: wait for your name .. easy as 1-2-3 in and out. Manuel Hernández the technician at Labcorp from Mission Viejo Suite 421 is the most incompetent Technician I have ever encountered, lets just start by saying Labcorp need to improve and have better service better technician that at least make you feel comfortable, they seem like they hate their job, they don't care at all, long periods of time waiting, and on top of that the job is done WRONG. The lady at front asks me only the TSH and I said yes pretty clear because there where more test to be done but I clarified that this where already done. To my surprise Manuel Hernandez did everything all over again and not the one I really needed it. How could someone be so useless really??? Also he was on a bad mood yelling we close in 7 minutes. He poke my arm and the needle end up getting out and poking me twice on the same arm. Blood couldn't stop. Until he put a lot of pressure. I end up getting my other arm poked again sadly very bad experience not only terrible service but I end up waisting my time for nothing because he didn't do the TSH and now Insurance charge for a test that It was done two weeks ago. Very very disappointed. I always get my blood work done at quest they are magnificent, sadly my new doctor have contract with Labcorp. I rather switch Dr than coming back at Labcorp. read more

In these times, it's awesome to see places like this LabCorp location adapting well. I came in on a Monday for a 10 AM appointment, and parked in one of many free parking spaces (there's both a surface parking lot and a covered structure). After I parked, I easily checked in online with my phone, thanks to their "wait where you're comfortable" feature! I was able to wait anywhere, whether it was in my car or outside the building, distanced from the other patients in the waiting room. When my technician was ready to draw my blood, I got a text so I could enter the clinic with minimal waiting and exposure! I only ended up waiting about 15 minutes, and I felt safe the whole time. The woman at the front desk (sorry I didn't get her name!) was friendly and upbeat, and handed me my paperwork as I walked in and assigned me to a room to wait for my technician. Wagner drew probably 7-8 tubes of blood for me today, and it was swift and painless! We even had a great conversation about PA school as my blood was collected. I was relieved I didn't have to go through multiple needle sticks, especially since my veins are not the easiest to find or draw blood from! I was all done in a matter of minutes - checked in at 10 AM, finished at around 10:40 AM. Wagner and all the staff members' friendliness made the whole experience pleasant, and I'll always drive the extra few minutes to go to this LabCorp location for any labs I'll need in the future. I came here for my routine blood check up & my A1C test, I did not have paperwork with me. There are only 2 ladies doing all the work, including Covid tests. They were able to pull up the electronic requests from 2 different doctors and I only had to wait 15 minutes in total. That was pretty darn good to be short handed, people made appts get to go in first. Angie is really nice and prompt. They were facing the lunch hour crowd, they go to lunch from 11-12 , come back at 1 and close at 3pm So please be patient and make sure to say thank you for their work. Other labs in different cities would have long lines wrapping around the building. Thank you Angie for taking such good care of me. I appreciate both of them. The 5 stars is not for the Labcorp facility, but for the woman who took my blood, Zara. I have really tough veins to get blood out of, and usually the tech wants to be a hero and be the only person in history to get blood out of my arm. But Zara took one look and said "let's not ruin your day and mine and get the blood from your hand." She took A LOT of blood, but the whole procedure was painless and there was no bruising or any pain afterwards. This woman needs a bonus, a raise, or something. Thank you, Zara! read more

When I got here today there was a bunch of people there to get lab work done and they had a note on the door saying they were "temporarily closed" but they had not bothered to put this info on their website or update the hours on the Google listing, so people are just wasting gas driving there for nothing. Then I tried calling a different location to verify they were actually open and no one answers the phone during business hours. Just goes to voicemail. Nearest LabCorp to me was closed, El Paseo in RSM, not sure of the reason, sign on the door should have offered addresses of nearest locations. Went to Plaza nr Crown Valley. Center had 1 hr wait! Apparently no people were temporarily reassigned for the day to other locations. Sign on the door should have offered a few choices to spread people around to avoid long wait at nearest center. Went in with my dad this morning and I don't think I've ever encountered such friendly staff at any other location we've been to. One of the 2 ladies that was sitting at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in! She happily greeted us and was super helpful when showing us how to check-in on the kiosk. She then instructed us to wait for my dad's name to be called, which didn't take very long either! This is my favorite Labcorp. Wait time is nominal without an appt. and there is no wait time with an appt. - at all!!! The staff and technicians are wonderful here. I've had not so great experiences at other Labcorp locations, but never this one. I have to give special recognition to Edgar, Brenda and Zara. I recently had to have a lot of blood taken over a 2 week period and these wonderful people made the experience a pleasure. I love the staff here, the location, the cleanliness, the competency of the technicians and ease in making appointments. Great place! read more

The check in process is terrible and SO painfully slow. Even with an appointment the wait time is horrendous and there is no respect for people's time. AVOID! This laboratory does NOT enforce their stated 5 person maximum capacity sign posted in their reception area. This morning their small reception area was jammed with 15 masked people, some having to stand shoulder to shoulder while waiting for their medical testing during the pandemic. Outside the front door of the lab, another 10 people were crowded in the narrow indoor hallway also waiting to enter the lab. If the CV19 virus is as contagious as the measles, this branch of LabCorp should be shut down due to the unsafe crowding they are hosting in a medical environment. read more

I've been to this location twice now; no complaints! Pre-Covid, I always dreaded having to go and get my blood work done because the labs were "first-come, first-served" and you never knew how long it would take. It's now so streamlined and easy. I checked in at 8:10 for my 8:15 appointment (appointment was super easy to schedule online), and I was out of there by 8:30 am. There were only about 5 people in the waiting room but you could also wait in your car. (My only minor complaint would be that the waiting room is pretty small). My technician was quick, friendly and professional. No one loves getting their bloodwork done, but if I have to again, this location will be my go-to! read more
