Super easy check in and wait time was minimal. Staff was great and blood work took no time at all. Tiffany was the best!

Awful , scary experience. Walked in ... waiting room was empty only an iPad on the wall to check in, No reception desk, No human beings. I made an appointment for my 19 month old baby, there was no option to find a pediatrics specialist Phlebotomist. When we were finally called back I was told they did not have that option. I had to hold my baby down as one women tried to draw her blood and another woman helped hold her arm straight. The one holding her arm was very nice offering my daughter stickers and sweetly talking to her,but the one trying to draw her blood did not get the sample even tho we were holding her very well. My poor daughter was so afraid and screaming crying the whole time. The phlebotomist seemed to get upset and said it was my daughter's bad veins and she moved and they could not get the sample. I understand she's a baby and very difficult to get a blood draw on but why is there no option or anyone to talk to to try and find some who has experience. Awful , scary and just not processional. Bad company practices in general. Never going back. I'll be paying a specialist to come to our house. read more

One of the most painful blood draws I've ever had. She said I was dehydrated but I did have 6 ounces water, 24 oz protein shake and 1 cup coffee beforehand. She used tape as the bandage. I'm still in pain 20 min later and see a large bruise already forming. read more

The good- Suzy was professional and efficient. The bad- the black guy with dreds (no name tag- must be new or training, which is likely because he was asking Suzy questions about bloodwork). He took me back then told me to call the doctor regarding my order, and told me to do it outside. I asked how I would get back in for my appt, and he said he would look through the glass door of the lobby periodically. Well, my doctor faxed it over immediately, and I returned to the lobby in less than two minutes. I then sat there for nearly half an hour and he did not check the lobby once, as he said he would. Eventually I had to request help on the kiosk after sitting there for almost 30 minutes, which is when Suzy came to take me back. read more

I'm writing this review specifically for Suzy, the lab technician at Quest Diagnostics. Over the past few months, I've been through a lot with doctors' appointments and constant lab work, so by the time I arrived for this visit I was already worn down. When I checked in, I found out the lab tests I needed had not been ordered correctly and had been sent to LabCorp instead. Suzy was the one person who turned the situation around. While I was sitting in the chair trying to sort things out with my doctor's office on the phone, she was patient and genuinely helpful. She helped me confirm the exact tests with the office and made sure everything was correct before proceeding. She also took an extra vial of blood so that if my doctor's approval came through shortly after, the lab would already have what they needed. That meant I wouldn't have to come back and go through the entire process again. It was very proactive. Suzy was kind and attentive especially during a moment when I was extremely stressed. After a rough start to my morning, she was the only person who actually helped me solve the problem. I hope management sees this because employees like her make a huge difference in the patient experience. Thank you, Suzy. You were amazing! read more

Very disappointing experience with Quest. Before doing my blood test, I specifically asked if my insurance would cover it, and I was clearly told yes. Based on that information, I agreed to proceed. Then, at the end of the month, I received a shocking bill for $1,000. If I had been told upfront that my insurance did not cover this test, I would never have agreed to it. There was absolutely no warning, no estimate, and no transparency about the cost. Finding out after the fact felt misleading and extremely stressful. Healthcare is already expensive, and situations like this destroy trust. Patients rely on accurate information to make informed decisions, especially when it comes to insurance coverage and pricing. Being told one thing and then billed a completely different amount is unacceptable. I am very disappointed with the lack of clear communication and accountability. I would strongly warn others to double-check everything in writing before doing any testing here, because verbal confirmation clearly cannot be trusted read more

The only quest location I will go to is the one at 26732 Crown Valley Pkwy Unit 521 Mission Viejo, CA 92691 Never a wait, clean and the ladies who work there are the kindest and comforting around! The location in the bldg next door is always packed with over an hour wait. I always just walk in and get seen within a few minutes. read more

Ran super behind even for early morning appointments and took multiple standby/ walk in patients ahead of actual booked appointments today. Unacceptable and really frustrating. read more

Wonderful staff, so caring and friendly and clean. This was my son's first blood test and I'm so thankful for the care that was given. I highly encourage people to go to this Quest if you are nervous about getting blood drawn! I wish I could remember the names of the ladies that helped but excellent experience ! read more

Worst service ever they are so behind on appointments and take forever. Understaffed constantly. We waited almost an hour with an appointment which is ridiculous. read more

I was a little put off when I walked into the office and there was no reception desk, just an empty, cold looking room with two computers kiosks where you can check in. Boy was I surprised by the amazing service I received! Jennifer came to get me at exactly my appointment time. My blood draw was fast and painless, she is super skilled at her job! But the most fun was all of the cute, funny and entertaining gizmos in her office. From pictures of her dog and family, to a myriad of hysterical dumpster fire toys, she made the whole experience delightful! I even got to pick out of her (high quality) sticker bin when I was finished. I've had a lot of crummy blood draws over the years, but Jennifer makes me look forward to the next one! read more

Good experience. Fast service. The person which drew my blood the day my service was very nice. The place was clean and well maintained. I was a walk-in and still had fast service. The location had self check-in service which worked well the day of my blood draw. read more

May 24,2023 (Wed 9:10am): I booked an appointment for myself and my two daughters on their website, which was easy. We parked our car in a paid parking structure ( we paid $4). Upon arrival, we checked in at a machine, and each of us had a friendly phlebotomist. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Welcome Check In - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Mission Viejo, California

Quick and easy. Only wish they were open Saturdays, but aside from that this is the only Quest I will go to

I tried their phone number to make an appointment. First there is no real person to speak to, second, they found an appointment for me but the system would not let me choose it. After a few tries, I thought they put me down for that appointment so I stopped trying. Then I received a text from them reminding me of an appointment made for another day and another time. So finally I went today to my appointment at Foothill Ranch Hoag location for Quest, the system did not find that I had an appointment. I was there before 8:00 am and put my name down for a waiting list. Every time I checked with them they tell me we called your name and you were not here, but I did not move from my seat. Then I was getting excited when I finally saw my name first in line only to see that someone snuck another name before me which made me second in line. Then my name disappeared all together and the person after me was called. This time that person was the one who complained for me because he was a witness to all the mistake they have done with me. I was there at 7:45 and I did not leave until 11:10 for a simple blood test. read more

Quest Diagnostics claim "Walk-ins are welcome. But only so that they can keep their appointment calendar full. If you are a walk-in, like my 98 year old mother, you will only be seen when and only if someone doesn't show up for their appointment. On top of that, they close the office at 12:30-1:30 for lunch, and you can just sit in their lobby and wait some more. She waited for two hours and was told she is still on the waiting list and there were four appointments ahead of her before their lunch break. Needless to say, she left without being tested. So to be honest, I don't really believe they WELCOME walk-ins. read more

Pitiful heath care set up Offices are permanently closed yet show open here on yelp Phones useless to reach Walk in tests absurd wait times Shouldn't be that hard and clearly there people do not care one iota about patients. Fact is. They could fix their hours and listings on yelp for starters. A sad pathetic excuse for what should be a decent experience. read more

Beware of this location, there's a reason this place has only 3 stars. I have been getting my blood drawn once a month for the past 6 months. I usually go to the Quest on Town Center Dr, but unfortunately they didn't have any appointments available for the time I needed. I don't remember the name of the person who did my bloodwork, but it hurt, was rushed, and the needle scratched the lower part of my arm (when it never does at the other location I go to). I will never come here again. If you need to get bloodwork done go to the one in Laguna Hills on Town Center Dr. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Mission Viejo, California

This is a very clean and extremely well ran quest. I did not have a good experience at the quest in San Clemente, (Talega) on Hermosa so I left and made an appointment at this location. The staff is very professional and thorough It is definitely difficult when you have to get blood drawn frequently, especially during the diagnostic phase of an illness. This quest is very compassionate and caring. Thank you, and I 100% recommend this Particular office . It is kind of crazy how they are all ran so different. I feel like someone from high above in corporate should evaluate the different locations and have specific guidelines for all of them. It really does make a difference to have such caring and compassionate people in healthcare. read more

Like many people, I hate getting my blood drawn. Recently I had a procedure done at mission hospital and four nurses all missed my veins when trying to insert my IV. Throughout the years getting blood drawn has always made me nervous and it's something I dread. UNTIL I found this Quest location. I've now come here four times over the last few years and I must say, all of the staff is wonderful. They're kind and welcoming - even during COVID - but they're also (and perhaps most importantly) wonderful at their job. I've always had a positive experience and today thanks to Michael, even left with a smile on my face. Thank you to the Quest team for being wonderful and putting your patients first! read more

Went here to get my blood drawn around just afternoon on a Tuesday. Like I figured I was one of the few people there, I have messed up veins due to Cancer treatment so my veins are had to find. Missed doing some of orderedtests had to go back for redraw. They also sent results to wrong doctors and missed doing some of the tests again on the redraw. They did not do all that were on the orders from 2 docs. How hard can that be. Don't appreciate the extra sticks and my follow up doctors appt I paid for to go over the labs when he did not have all that was needed. What is wrong with these people???? I'm going to check with plan to see if there is an option for a different lab. read more

One of the best locations to go to. Staff is extremely friendly. Makes the process so much easier, especially for the younger ones!

I read the Yelp reviews of Quest as I was on my way into the facility this morning to have blood drawn. Firstly, I hate having anyone draw blood from me. Despise it. I don't faint, pass out, or anything like that, but I hate needles. I was petrified after reading the reviews, and wished that I had signed up to another facility location. Anyway, I arrived 4 minutes late for my appointment (note: you have to park a decent walk away in a parking garage that charges $3/hour to park), and was worried this would be an issue. Nope, no issue. There were maybe 5 other people waiting in the room. I found the woman behind the desk to be helpful; everything was fine. Very professional. I had to wait maybe 5 - 7 minutes, but not bad, considering the wait I've had to do in other places before. Andrea was the woman who drew my blood. I explained I hated needles - but that I'm not a fainter or anything - and she was very friendly and talkative the whole time. Everything was clean and tidy in the facility, from what I could see, and have no complaints, other than the parking. Quest doesn't validate. If they did, five stars. read more

I have been having to go for blood work weekly for a medical issue I have been dealing with since November. I just have to say this location is amazing. Everyone that works there is nice and there is never a wait. If I make an appt. I make it online and they take me right away. I had an issue with my doctor's office sending the orders and Rachel went above and beyond to ensure I could get my blood work done that day. Her personality is always great, she is extremely helpful and sweet, and I will always come back to this location. Thank you Rachel for being so helpful! read more

I need to leave a review here! It has been really hard to get appointments or walk-ins to any Quest Diagnostics due CoViD-19, but We finally were able to get there. SHERLYN(I hope I am spelling your name right) you deserve a BIG THANK YOU, you make my daughter feel very comfortable with the blood test, she is normally scare of needles period, But Sherlyn was very nice, kind and talk to my daughter the entire process, YOU ARE THE BEST ONE! Also, the center was very clean and neat, with proper signing of 6ft distance, they took are temperature right when we entered, all the stuff was very kind. If you looking for a looking for your blood test, this is the right place to do it! Thank you! read more

This is my second time coming to this location at Quest Diagnostics in two months. I had good service from all the ladies both times. They were all working the front and the back. I feel as they should be given a job to work just the front office or back taking blood. It's not fare to them or the patient. They are doing their best to help us by doing multiple jobs. Yet, you can tell they are over worked by running the front and back. I don't blame them, I blame the company for not hiring front assistance for them. I just moved here from Northern bayarea where I go to Palo Alto Medical foundation Sutter Health. I've never seen that happen on my visits there unless it's the end of the day and holiday. I'm assuming this company is being cheap to allow this to happen, especially since they are a big company. I'm surprised with this being a company in Orange County. read more

This laboratory is so high tech you make an appointment on line and then you check in when physically present it took me only 5min to wait. Phlebotomist was really good got my vein from the first time read more

So I needed to get my blood work done because I have a surgery coming up. Well, I have to say my experience was not nearly as bad as the reviews I read on here. The staff was A grade. I hate needles and don't get my blood drawn unless I absolutely have to. Again, quick and painless. So why only 3 stars? Well shortly after I got my blood drawn I got up and immediately felt my blood sugar drop. I nearly fainted. The staff took care of me and laid me down. The issue I have is that you're supposed to have some sort of sweets or orange juice to level out your blood sugar. None of that is even provided there. Could be due to Covid related reasons. Nevertheless they should have something in case of emergencies. read more

After reading other reviews I was a bit concerned at coming to this location. Regardless of where you go and you don't have an appointment you should have the expectation go wait. I tried making an appointment for quest but the earliest I could get at a decent time with my 12 hour fast was 3 weeks from now so I decided to go first thing in the morning. I showed up at 6:45 hoping there weren't that many people in line since they opened at 7am. 4 people already in line. There has been 1 person with an appointment so 5 people total and me. All 5 people have been called back and are getting there blood drawn. This location is fast and efficient and the ladies working here are extremely friendly and chipper for this early in the morning :) If you are needing to get blood work done this is the location to go to! read more

I just returned from having my 10 year old daughters blood drawn. This was by far the worst experience and the worst phlebotamist ever. It was a young man and by the time he was done there was blood everywhere. To the point where he had to wipe off and clean up the chair, the arm rest and my daughters arm. I have NEVER seen so much blood while having my own blood drawn. And the fact that it was my 10 year old daughter's experience was horrible. I have tried to call the office, like someone else mentioned and there is no way to contact anyone. I may get in my car and drive over there today if I don't hear back just to let them know he should not be drawing people's blood. I am honestly horrified by the experience. read more

Awful experience , my girlfriend that's 8 months pregnant, walked in for a 3 hour test, upon our check in at quest diagnostics, we had a nurse by the name Julie who was reluctant to help us, once my girlfriend was starting her 3 hour test, a specific water bottle for the test was given to my girlfriend so she could start. As my girlfriend started drinking it "Julie" yelled from across the room unprofessionally, hurry up drink it faster, we don't have time for this. My girlfriend confronted "Julie" about her rude approach. "Julie showed little to no remorse and continued to make the two of us feel unimportant and unwanted. The last time I checked, a company that's specifically designed for customer care shouldn't be avoiding clients, making the client feel as if her time is invaluable and insignificant. I personally don't know any buisness in customer care that treats there clients with such disrespect especially nurses . We are in the process of filing a legitimate complaint , I figured that this would be a good start though. read more

I'm giving the one star to this location because they wasted my time with my 10 year old daughter , who fasted the day before for her glucose test . Staff was running around like a chicken who's head was cut off , they did not know what to do , after almost 30 min of "figuring out what to do " and asking me if the test was for me ?! Did I look like I am 10 years old ? Rachel told me that they can not perform the glucose test for my daughters safety because she is a minor and their protocol won't let them test her there , they gave me a glucose bottle to take with me to her doctor and told me to test there . They didn't want to be liable ?! I took my daughter to test her to where her doctor is and told them about that Quest Diagnostics refused to test her and send us away . They were surprised. My daughters test went fine . I just want other people to know if you have kids that's not the place to take them to test , save your time , energy and money ! read more
