I took my 4yr old here for bloodwork and the phlebotomist was great. He made my son feel comfortable and made the process quick and easy. We also got our results to my Quest app within 24 hrs. We have to do more labs and I will definitely taking him back here to this location. read more

Making an appointment was fairly easy. The phlebotomist did a great job. The problem is my results have not gotten to my doctor. No one answers the phone here. There's no option to speak with anyone and trying to login is a nightmare. I keep asking for a code to reset password . It takes forever to get the code and then I asked to resend and then the codes.. ugh I give up I'd rather go to LabCorp if this is how they're gonna treat me.. my doctors referring business here. I feel like they should be able to send my results without me having to log into the portal to print them myself. This isn't self-serve!! Not service oriented business practices . I will not be returning to this location. I've had to continue to call my doctor multiple times to see if they can get the results. This isn't how I do business. So what's a girl to do? She calls Quest customer service the 866 number I've been on hold for 30 minutes and no one has picked up. This is not service people. read more

I came to the location at 26800 Crown Valley Parkway and I was received by the front desk. The receptionist were cheery and welcoming. They got me in very quickly and I had Shahnaz meet me to take my blood. She was hospitable, kind and knowledgeable. She checked to make sure I was the person she was expecting to draw blood from. She found my vein immediately and normally I am a hard stick. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She talked to me through the bloodwork. I highly recommend this location. Do not waste your time going here. Ridiculously slow. Only 2 people in the waiting room over an hour before closing and they kept calling people's names who were never waiting. They closed several minutes early with no warning unable to help the only two people waiting over an hour. Unable to schedule appointments for the next day. Very rude and unapologetic. Horrible experience. This nurse taking my blood was more focused on his lunch hour than completing the bloodwork. I had 2 orders and he claimed only one was "in the system" when all he had to do was scan the actual second order. Made me waste 45mins talking to my doctor who confirmed the order was "in the system" and then I had to find another Quest office that was open since the original was now in lunch. What a horrible way to treat people. Never going back to this location. read more

So I arrived on a Friday afternoon about 4:00pm and I was going to check in after the couple of people ahead of me and I realized I had forgotten my id which one in my car 5 minutes away and when I came back they told me and the other person there that they were closing In 10 minutes so I may or may not get seen . After checking in I took my seat and 2 minutes later a lady came up to me and said that they could not take me . She then told me that I could try a place tomorrow or come back on Monday . I was like what was the point of even going there a half hour before they close since it's sooner then that . I guess my standing order from my dr doesn't matter . I just went in there to get lab work done. First, they couldn't find the prescribing doctor information, then they couldn't find the pricing for the test being done. They don't validate parking and couldn't figure out what to do. They went ahead and did a blood draw but I never paid anything. I tried to call their phone number and all I keep getting were prompts that help me in no way. In fact, I'm pretty sure the prompts would not help anyone unless they're just looking for generic answers that they can find online anyway. At this point since I didn't pay anything, I'm guessing my blood draw was for nothing. I don't know why they would run it and give the information to my doctor if they didn't get paid. They even said that they wouldn't do the work unless payment was collected at time of service. read more

This Quest is wonderful. The waiting room was packed but I had an appointment and was called back within minutes. I'm a tough draw and Brittani found a vein by feeling for it, as you couldn't see it. She drew 10 vials and I didn't feel a thing and after had no bruise, which is unheard of for me....actually no bruise at all. Brittani is the best!! I came in for a blood glucose test with my toddler. Was given the drink, told I could use the restroom. I left the room to walk the halls with my toddler after given the drink to burn some time between the drink and the 1 hour later blood test. I came back 45 minutes later of walking halls and they said "you can't do the test" "we told you you couldn't leave". I was never told explicitly I could not leave my chair. They saw me walk to the hall and didn't tell me not to leave. They let me walk out. They could have called me the second I walked out instead of waiting for me to come back in 45 minutes later. Instead they let a fasting 28 week pregnant lady with a toddler walk around for an hour outside their doors then denied service. So Unprofessional. I'm a nurse myself and follow medical advice strictly. They never said not to leave. I'm am absolutely sickened with their terrible service. Do not go here. read more

After saying "such a beautiful vein" the technician happily misses it leaving me with a heavily bruised arm. How is that for competence? Also, on the overall note -- the location is extremely busy & the parking is paid after fifteen minutes. The elevators take ages & expect to be bulldozed by racing senior citizens to get their way by all means. Smh -- never again will you see me there, especially because there are plenty other peaceful quiet locations standing alone with caring & knowledgeable staff serving their patients in Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, & Dana Point vicinity where parking is free. read more

I wish I could give this location more than 5 stars. Everyone here is very friendly, but let me just tell you how amazing Benedict is. Benedict loves what he does and it shows. My 1 year old son has a complex medical history and has to have lab work done at least twice a month. We live in San Clemente and drive to Mission Viejo just to see Benedict, even though there is a Quest less than 5 minutes from our home. Most phlebotomists cannot locate a vein on our son. We were sent to CHOC to have a NICU nurse find a vein more times than I can count before we found Benny! He finds a vein with ease on the first try and my son doesn't even bat an eye. Benny is so gentle with him, and so friendly and caring. I cannot sing his praises enough. He is a real asset to Quest. Thank you, Benny, for making a not so fun experience quick and easy. You are truly appreciated! read more

The front office staff at this facility are incompetent and unprofessional. I presented them with my doctor's lab order that included a test requiring a 24 hour at-home specimen collection. The staff was flummoxed by this test and kept me waiting while they conferred with one another about what the test required. The individual who was processing the paperwork apologized for the wait, telling me that the order was "confusing". Three other individuals who came into the office after me had their samples collected and left while I sat waiting for the staff to understand what was required for my test. Finally, I was given a plastic collection container in a plastic bag without any paperwork and was told to follow the instructions on the sticker on the container and return the container filled with the sample the next day. When I returned the next day with the collected sample, the staff refused to accept the sample because there was no accompanying paperwork! It turns out that the staff on the prior day was supposed to include a copy of the lab order along with the container that they gave me, but failed to do so. The staff on the day I returned the sample made me feel that it was my fault that I wasn't given the required paperwork to accompany the collection container, rather than apologizing for the error made by the staff the prior day. Exasperated by the situation and the arrogance of the staff, I told them I would let my doctor know that I couldn't get the test done at Quest and started to leave. As I turned toward the door, one of the staff members said to me, "We are just going to dump the sample, sir." Incensed by her smart-alecky tone, I said that, "That's fine", and continued to approach the door. Then she suggested that I call my doctor to have the lab order resent. Rather than starting over at another lab to get this test done, I did so. After spending another 20 minutes to call my doctor's office to get the same lab order that I had submitted to Quest the day before faxed to the staff on this day, and then waiting once again for this day's staff to try to understand and process the order, I was finally told that I could go. No apologies were offered for the aggravation, inconvenience and time I spent due to the Quest staff's incompetence the prior day in not providing the paperwork along with the collection container. Then, after leaving and while walking down the hallway outside the office, a staff member ran up behind me and told me that they needed a blood draw to go along with the sample that they had just accepted! Unbelievable!! I went back, had my blood drawn, and it was then that I learned from the phlebotomist that the staff had erred in not providing the proper paperwork along with the collection container. He went out to speak to the front office staff about the situation, but I did not hear what was said. What a fiasco!!! From now on I will be going to Labcorp for my medical tests. These events happened on May 4 and May 5, 2022. read more

I frequently use Quest for my own blood work, and generally have positive experiences. Today I took my toddler in for blood work, and was so impressed with our visit. The staff was personable and efficient. Most importantly, though, they did an outstanding job drawing blood from my 3 year old. Quest is the absolute worst! i have tried for 2 weeks to get thru to someone. they made a huge mistake on my blood test and showed the wrong results resulting in my almost going on a serious medication I didn't need. My Dr. had 2 other labs draw the test which were normal. ever since can't get thru to anyone at Quest. Dangerous and terrible customer service. read more
