Took my daughter to get some bloodwork here. The staff was nice but they missed a whole panel of blood tests! They only did one for Epstein Barr and not the other complete blood panel. I told them to please make sure they get everything on the lab order and they assured me they did - but then we received the results and they only tested for Epstein Barr and NOT the complete blood panel. I called back and said they can't redo it and were not sure why it was missed ... this is a huge problem because my daughter is very sick and she can't have repeat bloodwork back to back read more

Garrett was excellent. The place was packed at 7:30 in the morning--a bit disheveled, not much to look at--but they called me on time, and Garrett was fantastic. He came prepared with an antidote to take my mind off the upcoming needle, and his technique was flawless. No pain. No bee sting. Not even a butterfly kiss. Give that man a raise. On a side note, the inside hallways at 675 Camino de Los Mares are disgusting: stained carpet, dirty, scratched-up walls, and no air circulating through the system, making it feel humid and muggy on a cool June gloom morning. I came here after i failed my first 1 hour glucose test for gestational diabetes and had to do my 3 hour test. I was weary coming into a LabCorp as i've had a bad experience previously. But the staff at this location has completely changed my experience and made me want to come back if i need to!! they were so timely with me coming in every hour of the test, and so friendly, talkative and sweet. Appointment was scheduled a week and a half ago. I got a reminder the morning of the appointment, I showed up at the scheduled time and the office was closed for the day, while on the phone trying to sort it out 3 other patients with scheduled appointments showed up to the closed office. Website showed the location was open (I had an appointment...), door locked with a note saying closed for the day. By the way the call was not able to sort out the situation and put me on "a list". I had delayed a visit to my elderly parents in order to get my blood work done,.....would not depend or use Labcorp in the future if given any choice at all As far as how I would rate my experience I gave it a #1 because 0 was not available. read more

I'm actually surprised at some of the reviews here. Because I'm on blood thinners I have to get blood drawn once or twice a month. Every time I've been there they're amazing. Everyone was friendly and even as a walk-in I get in and out quickly (depending on how busy they are). But the important part is how good they are. I have had horrible experiences getting my blood drawn as my veins are deep. I've had phlebotomists struggle to draw my blood and have left huge bruises and bumps. But at the San Clemente every phlebotomist I've encountered got in, hit the vein, drew the blood as painlessly as possible, and didn't leave a mark. So from my experience, they're amazing. read more

Just left Labcorp after waiting for an hour. Went to ask the receptionist how much longer it was going to be and he indicated an hour more. Don't you think that would've been useful information for the patient to know upfront?!!! Why would anyone want to spend two hours at LabCorp?!! Other agitated patients left too so that should tell you something! I see patients coming out, but I hardly see patients going in!! They are SO slow and inefficient!! AVOID THIS PLACE!! read more

Honestly the main downside is the wait, which really isn't their fault due to the amount of walk-ins they receive. It looks like a stressful job to organize so many people at the same time and I can see they're trying their best with what they got. Waited for over an hour with an appointment all because staff didn't verify lab order when I sent it to them via email at check in. They said "it takes awhile to receive via email when you send it to us but I'll check in a few minutes before we take you back" and then they forgot. The waiting room cleared out and no one still said anything until I went up to front desk and they say "oh it didn't go through, try again". No apologies of course because it's a bunch of youngsters running the place. I had labs drawn on 8/22 and it's 8/29 and still have no results. I have had thyroid panels done every 6 months for years and this is the longest I've waited to receive results. Terrible! read more

Mum has stage 4 lung cancer w metastasis to the brain. Doc has sent us here twice for blood work. Both times it was impossible to get an appointment time that fit in with her radiation schedules so we just did a walk in hoping for the best. After today's 45 min wait and then subsequent multiple failed attempts at a blood draw before they finally nailed it, I explained about her cancer and asked if it were possible to triage the walk ins in the future because the waits have been almost unbearable for her. The absolute worse lab . My last visit with an appt months ago was astonishing ... there were people lined up inside along the walls little ability for distancing .. no temp taken no hand sanitizer to be seen anywhere and people lined up outside a very small corridor rt outside the elevator . Thought I was at the unemployment office .. I waited 40 mins at least no where to sit and everyone looking anxious with the conditions of this Lab .:. I had a Uterine cancer biopsy and require bloodwork at the exact date and have been trying to book an appt for a week now online to no avail ... online site does not work no one returns our phone messages either .. by the time I got my insurance rep who finally got through they had no appts within 100 miles ... Just Awful. They explain NOTHING. NO communication. I tried several times to hand over a home lab test. They refused to take it. Then they tried to get me to take an identical lab test. It was so disorganized and confusing that I ended up back home with the lab test. I had to drive back to give it to these rude, confusing people. That return trip stole 45 minutes from my day. They assume their clients have the same knowledge of their policies as they do. They can't be bothered to explain ANYTHING. read more

Labs are not fun and I still have doctors regularly ask for lab work so if you have to go get it done this is a good option. The people are friendlier than other labs I have been to and I did not have an appointment because I needed the labs before my next doctor appointment so I just had to walk in and wait. I went here after I had went the laguna hills location a few days earlier and no one there was competent enough to find a vein. Same exact experience here. Woman was clueless about how to find a vein. Also one of the people who couldn't find a vein over at the laguna hills location was now over here. Such a disappointment. So...they changed their hours months ago and waited a month and half before updating the website. In the last 4 month I've gone 6 times and the door is locked with either a sign saying they closed early or the office was closed temporary. If you call they never answer the phone so you can't even check before you go. But today i'm done...went 2 days ago and they were closed but sign said they would be open the next day. I went yesterday 2 hrs before they closed and there was a sign they closed early, so went today hours earlier and they were completely closed, got in the car and drove to the Mission Viejo office and they closed early...BUT NEVER UPDATED THE WEBSITE OR WILL ANSWER A PHONE. Now my Dr appt had to be pushed back two weeks all because labcorp can't seem to pay their employees enough to want to come to work. read more
