My appointment was 8:40am, I was in the up elevator at 8:30, and all done coming out of the down elevator at 8:40am. Dafne, the technician, called me right away as I finished my registration (dr license and insurance). She was courteous and prompt. She verified my name and date of birth, poked the needle in my left arm and I didn't even feel it. After a couple of tubes, it was done. The waiting room clean and was packed with people but I was able to get done because of my appointment. Tip: The parking is free with a big lot. Main entrance is on the right side of the building. I entered from the entrance facing the parking lot, it was a small entrance and a little confusing, but the elevator took me to the lab anyway.

They will ask for the order your doctor placed and may ask for your medical card. The staff were all nice and made me feel at ease. They drew my blood pretty quickly and I was out in less than 10 minutes. The results were sent to my doctor's office within a couple of days. This is one of the few Labcorps in the area that's open on Saturdays so I would definitely come back if I needed to on a weekend.

My appointment was at 10 a.m. During check-in at the kiosk, it gave me the option to reschedule due to their busy schedule or to "continue." I chose to continue and told myself I'd wait about 20 minutes before considering rescheduling. Surprisingly, about 5 minutes later, I received a text saying, "Your Labcorp technician is ready to see you. Please proceed to the Labcorp check-in area and your name will be called shortly." I went to the lobby, where the front desk staff verified my information and told me they'd be with me soon. I thought I would be seeing the usual person I always see, Tito. And even told my son prior, "you'll get your blood drawn by someone who always draws my blood, his name is Tito. The earliest it allowed me to check in was 10 mins prior to our appointment. It instructed me to go into the center and Wendy immediately brought me and my 8 year old son back. Wendy was very nice, patient, and did a great job when drawing my son's blood, poked him once on his right antecubital and drew the blood right away. My son said it felt like a "sting" but that was it. He was nervous beforehand but didn't cry and was even able to look at the needle in his arm and the 2 vials while it was filling with his blood. Needed the blood draw for allergy tests. Quick, simple and easy.

VA has an Urgent Care alternative. I called Urgent Care Pros, and got in right away. I was processed through treatment with efficiency and care. UC Pros had my X-rays examined by their O.D. bone specialist right away. I sent their O.D. findings to the VA and got an appointment right away. My care by Janny and Michelle was excellent. The entire office staff is attentive and efficient. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
