I was greeted by a woman at the front desk and taken cared of in the best way by my phlebotomist. I didn't get his name but he did so well with keeping me calm. I'm not afraid of needles but blood does make me a little anxious. The flow was quick and process was easy. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. For a first-time experience, my visit did not start off on a positive note. When I arrived, I was having difficulty checking in and approached Dayleen for assistance. Unfortunately, I was initially ignored for about a minute, despite standing there clearly needing help. When I was finally acknowledged, I was told, "If you checked in, you need to have a seat and wait to be called." I explained that I was seeking assistance because I was unable to complete the check-in process. While she did eventually help me, her demeanor was not welcoming or friendly. During the check-in process, I was asked to manually enter my insurance information. My primary insurance was not appearing in the system, so I selected "out of pocket" just to complete the check-in. I debated whether I should ask for further assistance because I was already uncomfortable with the interaction. However, I eventually decided to approach Dayleen again to see if she could upload my insurance information. This time, after explaining that I needed help, I was told she was busy. It was unclear whether she wanted me to wait or return later because no guidance was given. I noticed another employee, Pauline, assisting a patient, so I asked if she could help me when she was available. Pauline was kind, professional, and gladly offered to assist me after she finished helping another patient. While I was waiting, Dayleen informed me that Pauline would not be able to help me because accessing my information would require pulling up my account, which could not be done until I was called back for my blood draw. She also stated that they could not "push me ahead of everyone else" and that I needed to take a seat and wait. At no point was I asking to skip ahead or receive special treatment. I simply needed assistance with my insurance information. When Pauline returned, I explained what had been communicated to me. Pauline reassured me that helping me was not an issue. I then expressed that I felt Dayleen had been rude and unprofessional throughout our interactions. Dayleen responded by telling me to "stop and calm down," which came across as aggressive and confrontational rather than helpful. Due to the way the situation was handled, I requested the supervisor's contact information. Dayleen provided it, but her tone remained confrontational. I greatly appreciated Pauline's professionalism, patience, and willingness to help despite the circumstances. I also want to give special recognition to Sam, the phlebotomist. Getting blood drawn makes me extremely nervous, and Sam went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. He engaged me in conversation about my personal life to keep my mind off the procedure, remained friendly and compassionate throughout the appointment, and had a very gentle touch during the blood draw. His kindness and professionalism made a significant difference in my experience. Overall, Pauline and Sam are the reason I am giving this visit 3 stars instead of 1 star. Both provided excellent customer service and demonstrated the level of professionalism and compassion that patients should expect. Unfortunately, my interactions with Dayleen negatively impacted what could have otherwise been a much more positive first experience. read more

Last time I came here there was a nice gentleman running things and things went smoothly. Today, no such luck. After waiting an hour as a walk-in, I was called to the front desk by a middle-aged, dark-haired woman who asked for my paperwork. She said her research in the computer showed I was there for a urine sample, then she said 'No, wait. That was from last December'. Today is Aug. 7, 2026, and she said there was no other order in her system and that I would have to have my doctor fax over the order with absolutely no compassion in her voice and no offer to help. This was supposed to be one of the higher rated LabCorp offices. Looks like they're all the same! Too bad, one star. read more

It's Clear Why This LabCorp Location Has 5 Stars! This is hands down one of the best LabCorp locations I've visited. The lobby and check-in area were clean, neat, and had a fresh feel, unlike some other locations that can feel a bit worn down. The self check-in was fast and simple; the kiosk quickly scanned my ID and insurance card. I had barely sat down before my lab technician, Jessica, called me in. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled--I didn't even feel a thing during the blood draw! This will definitely be my go-to LabCorp location for any future lab work. read more

Been here countless times since I have an autoimmune disease and am currently pregnant. Most times, it's fairly empty. I've only been here once when there were more than 7 people. There is "valet parking only" in the back of the building. There is also free street parking and a lot next door that seems to be free. Super clean. Super friendly people. I haven't gotten everyone's names, but I know Andrew and Beverly are great! No pain at all. They are experts here! Would 100% this Labcorp over any other in the area! PS. Let me start off by saying I am a big crybaby and definitely afraid of needles. To top it off I have very small veins which absolutely tend to hide whenever I have to go and give blood. But today I went to the LabCorp on Long Beach Boulevard and they have a nurse by the name of Sam. This gentleman was funny, engaging, and absolutely understood the assignment. I told him off the bat about my small veins and he was an expert. He encouraged me to drink water before I gave blood, and the quality of care is one that I will not soon forget. I'm must also give a shout out to the gentleman at the reception desk. He was pleasant, kind, and completely prepared for me. I There was no wait as I had an appointment, checked in from my car to alert them that I had arrived, the visit overall was exceptional. Should I have to give blood again and I don't look forward to that. I will absolutely be coming back. Kudos to all! read more

I went there for fasting as walk-in (without an appointment) about a month ago. The staffs attitude were very friendly and helpful, the service was very smooth and well organized. The test results were ready in a timely manner (we can signup with their portal through its mobile App (LabCorp patient) so you will be notified promptly by email when tests results became available on the portal.) I used to go to a super-secret (OK, not so secret but it was off of Linden but they closed it) Quest lab and didn't care for the one on Atlantic because it got ridiculously busy (even with an appointment), was always crowded, they closed off the reception area (so it was completely self-serve), only have one restroom (I can't pee on command and having to stop and let someone else in was annoying) and frankly it sucked. My doctor recommended I try Labcorp since it's local. Obviously it was an office at one time and has been converted. Lots of space in their reception area, with an actual receptionist desk staffed by actual people. Since I can't pee on command (even by prepping by pounding water), they'll let me take a specimen cup home and drop it off later. Adjacent parking lot (no more parking off a janky side street or $3 parking like Quest) so that's a bonus. Don't know if my insurance stinks or Labcorp just charges more (my usual lipid panel and other tests would be ~$30 at Quest but is $50 here) but I'll pay the difference because I don't have to deal with Quest nonsense. read more

The only reason why this place gets 4 starts is because the parking situation, otherwise everything was amazing. The lab corp I initially went to was super packed and the parking lot was tiny so I decided to come to this one in hopes that it wasn't as packed. This lab corp was definitely cleaner, less of a wait time, and pretty efficient. Staff was super friendly. Unfortunately parking was not free (unless you can find parking on the street). The only option in the parking lot behind the facility was valet parking. They only take card. I ended up paying $3 for parking for about an 45 minutes. First 30 mins is $1.50 and then first hr is $3 and after the second hour it's $6. Try to find street parking! read more

Customer service could be improved. The receptionist today 12/1/25 with the black hair in a ponytail was very rude and insensitive. I used to love this location but I left with a bad taste in my mouth. She had a big attitude when I walked up and was rude when telling me they were at capacity for the day. No apology just a rude person taking their anger out on a patient. She really needs sensitivity training so she can learn how to speak to patients correctly. My lab orders were faxed in last Monday and she said they didn't have them but I don't think she even looked for the fax. I was happy today but felt like tossed out garbage when I left because a receptionist took her frustrations out on me :( read more

Made an appt online. They didn't have any soon appt for the time I was looking for so I booked about 2 weeks out. I got a confirmation and was able to check in on my phone. I waited in my car when I got there and shortly received a text saying I can go inside. The entrance is on the outside of LB Blvd. The people at front were very nice and quick to get me in a room. Place was empty at 9am on a weekday. I waited in the room for about 5 minutes the phlebotomist came in and was quick attentive and very friendly. Overall a very quick and easy visit. I went in yesterday for some blood work. I have never been here before it was conveniently located on the first floor. I walked in and saw a sign directing me where to check in. Check in was easy. Went for a routine lab work at 1pm for my son with NO appointment. Checked in at the kiosk. We were called within 20 minutes after checking in. The phlebotomist was efficient and withdrew blood in one take. Usually it's difficult to find my son's veins to draw blood. The facility is clean and spacious with plenty of seats in the waiting area. The building has plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. I would recommend this facility and will return for future labs. Although an appointment is recommended, the turn around time with no appointment was acceptable. read more
